Chapter 112 - Firing And Hiring All With In Minutes.

Mr. Chen who was on the line was a little confused. What did she mean by Xing? But his question was soon answered when he heard a melodic voice say: "He's already on his way. Mr. Chen... I will entrust you to pull that granddaughter of yours out of there soon. Otherwise..." Shen Xing did not finish his words. But the meaning was implied. 

Mr. Chen instantly knew who the voice belonged to as he quickly answered: "C-CEO Shen do not worry I already sent my assistant out to bring her home now. If there is nothing more then I will hang up. If there is anything else that either CEO Shen or Madam Shen needs from the Chen family just let me know." 

"I will thank you for your help in this matter, Mr. Chen." Lin Xiaoxiao said nicely. Mr. Chen was an upright man. He was the one who was able to bring his family to the point they are now. He would not want anything to happen to all the hard work he had put into his business. 

After Mr. Chen hung up Lin Xiaoxiao said: "Xing do you think Fang De will be here before the show starts?" 

"Un… He was in the area so he should be there any second. He has all the contacts needed for a new talent on his tablet so Miss Teng will just need to sign them and we will print them out later." Shen Xing said as he paused for a moment to answer someone who had just entered his office. "Is there anything else Xiaoxiao? I have a meeting to attend." 

"No that was it sorry for holding you up. Thank you, Xing! I will see you when you get home tonight. I love you." A sweet smile formed on Lin Xiaoxiao's face. She was very lucky to have such a man.

"I love you too. I will see you later good luck on the show." Shen Xing then hung up. At the same time the door opened up and Fang De walked in.

"Madam who is the new talent?" Fang De asked as he politely bowed to Lin Xiaoxiao. 

Lin Xiaoxiao turned grabbed Teng Fugen's hand pulling her forward. "This is Teng Fugen. She has worked her way up from nothing on her own and was even invited to appear on this show."

"As always Madam has good eyes. I am surprised that she has not been picked up by an agency yet. Miss Teng, did you ever try out for Empire Entertainment?" Fang De asked.

"I -I tried but on the day of the audition, one of your talents bumped into me then yelled at me and had the guards kick me out so I was not able to take the audition. After that, I never went back." Teng Fugen nervously replied.

"Humph! Miss Teng, can you tell me the name of the talent who kicked you out?" Fang De's brow furrowed he hated it when talents acted so arrogant.

"Yao Tu..."

"That bastard! Just the other day he was arrested for assault and he's still in jail. To think he almost made us lose a good talent!" Fang De was very mad, he had dealt with Yao Tu many, many times after taking care of the aftermath of the troubles he had caused. Taking out his cell phone, he quickly called the head of human resources.

"Mr. Fang what can I do for you?" 

"Cancel Yao Tu's contract today, also recall the lawyer we sent to help him with his current case. Tell security that he is no longer allowed to step one foot on any Empire Group property." Fang De was really pissed. All the talents Lin Xiaoxiao had handpicked turned out to be unpolished gems. When polished, they would make the company a great deal of money. So for Lin Xiaoxiao to have Teng Fugen sign a contract with the company it meant that she was a rare gem and it was not for her then Empire Entertainment would have lost such a rare gem. If Lin Xiaoxiao was not here then Teng Fugen would have gone to another company at some point and that would all be because Yao Tu kicked her out before she could even take the audition!

Everyone in the room was once again surprised at what was happening. Just like that a talent that had been around for a few years lost his contract and was fired. The worst part was he was in jail and was relying on the company's backing to get him out. Now with the lawyer being pulled he would not have any way to get out of jail until he hired a new lawyer himself and even then he might not be able to get out easily.

After getting Teng Fugen to sign the contracts Fang De said his goodbyes and left. Lin Xiaoxiao turned her attention back to Chen Zinan as she said: "Miss Chen let this be a lesson to you. Show people the same respect you would want in return. Otherwise, things won't be as simple as losing a spot on a tv show, will not be the only thing that happens."

"I thank Madame Shen for being lenient with me." Chen Zinan was actually not mad at Lin Xiaoxiao, well, more that she would not dare get mad at Lin Xiaoxiao but she did give Teng Fugen a fierce glare before bowing to Lin Xiaoxiao and leaving the waiting room.

Lin Xiaoxiao saw the glare and frowned she knew that this Chen Zinan was a petty person and would more likely try to find trouble for Teng Fugen. Lin Xiaoxiao went in deep thought for a minute before turning and asking: "Miss Teng do you live alone or with your family?" 

Startled out of her dazed state from everything that had been happening to her.  Teng Fugen replied: "I live alone. My family lives out in the countryside. Their farmers." Teng Fugen said. "But Umm. Mrs... Madam Shen, thank you so much for everything you have done for me today. If there is anything that I, Teng Fugen can do for you please let me know."  Teng Fugen bowed deeply.

"Un... There is something you can do for me. I have an apartment that needs someone to live in it and keep an eye on things. I want you to stay there from now on. I will also assign a bodyguard to you as well. You are not to go anywhere without them. " She waved her hand and Mo Yu walked up. "Have one of my female bodyguards come down and assign her to look after Teng Fugen for a while. Until I can find a new bodyguard for her. There is no telling what the Chen Zinan will do. I did not help Teng Fugen to have something worse happen to her because of my help." 

"I will take care of it right away Madam!" Mo Yu said as she took out her phone and made a phone call.

Lin Xiaoxiao had a strong feeling that Chen Zinan would try to do something to retaliate for her embarrassment today and since she would probably not try to do anything to her she would take her anger out on Teng Fugen instead.
