Chapter 114 - The Next Big Thing Part Two

Teng Fugen's face blushed as she softly said: "It was all thanks to my Goddess Lily! She was like a divine being who came from heaven as she gallantly pulled me to her side. All because of her I was able to have such good fortune. I do not think I have ever been so happy in my entire life."  

Meng Hu was a bit perplexed. ' Did I not ask how you felt about joining Empire Entertainment? How did this come to be about someone else? Isn't your description a little out there? ' "Ahaha. Miss Teng, may I ask who you are speaking of?" 

"Goddess  Lily of course!" Teng Fugen answered as she looked at Meng Hu with a look that said ' How can you ask such a dumb question? You should know who Goddess Lily is. She is the goddess of all things! ' 

Lin Xiaoxiao who was currently watching the show backstage was about to take a sip of her water but when she heard Teng Fugen call her Goddess Lily, she ended up spitting it all over the place. Qin Mei gave Lin XIaoxiao a smirk as to say: ' See what happens when you act as a knight! ' Minmin on the other hand was ready to go to war with Teng Fugen over her Big Sister. ' Big Sister is mine! Big Sister is my Fairy Lily! '

Back on stage Teng Fugen continued. "Goddess Lily was like a goddess as she sent one of her followers to save me from the evil clutches of that  old hag Chen Zinan!" Raising her fist in front of her shaking it while making a righteous pose Teng Fugen said every word as if Lin Xiaoxiao was the only true goddess in the world. Luckily given her young age her actions looked cute and not that of a crazy person. 

Once again in the waiting room Lin Xiaoxiao spit out another mouth full of water. Qin Mei laughed quietly to herself while Minmin was gritting her teeth! Meng Hu who was on stage couldn't help but laugh as she watched this girl in front of him. She was really eye catching. "Miss Teng you said that this Goddess Lily saved you from Chen Zinan? Can you tell us about that?"

"Yes, of course, everyone should know how evil that old hag is." Her face was innocent but her words were harsh causing the audience to laugh. "When I first arrived here today I was planning to practice a little while I was the only one in the waiting room. While I was practicing, I did not realize someone else had come in and accidentally bumped into them. I turned to apologize to the person I bumped into but before I knew what was happening I was tossed to the ground and slapped hard in the face. While others were coming in the old hag slapped me two more times while yelling and berating me... I didn't even know who the old hag was until Goddess Lily arrived and saved me from the old hags evil clutches. It was all thanks to Goddess Lily that I was able to be on today's show." 

The crowd was shocked at Teng Fugen's words. Such a thing happened backstage? Where was the staff at the time? Even Meng Hu was thinking the same thing. He called someone from the side over and whispered into their ear. The person nodded their head and quickly left the stage. "MIss Teng on behalf of the staff of The Next Big Thing as well as Star Broadcasting, I hereby apologize for not having someone on sight to stop such things from happening." Meng Hu deeply bowed to Teng Fugen.

Teng Fugen became flustered as she shook her hands in front of her saying: "No! No! It's fine.  Because of this incident I was able to meet Goddess Lily. So a little hardship to meet my goddess is fine." 

Meng Hu did really did not know what to say. ' The damn girl was talking about goddess this goddess that.  Who the hell was this goddess!? ' With that question on his mind he had to ask. "Miss Teng, Is your Goddess Lily here now?" 

I big smile bloomed on Teng Fugen's face as she said: "Un! She is backstage waiting for her turn."

"Well then let's have Goddess Lily come on stage then!" Meng Hu shouted out. The crowd whistled and shouted out.  

Lin Xiaoxiao's face sank! She turned to Qin Mei and said: "Mom can I ask a question."

"Sure go ahead." Qin Mei did her best trying to hide the smirk on her face.

"If I go out on stage and slap some sense into Teng Fugen would it look bad on me?" Lin Xiaoxiao really wanted to know why the damn girl was only talking about her instead of herself. Teng Fugen was reminding her of how Minmin used to be! Just the thought of what might be created and put under the covers of Teng Fugen's bed made Lin Xiaoxiao shiver. 

Qin Mei's ability to hold it in was not enough as she burst out laughing. "Mom it's not funny! You don't know what I have seen!" Saying that she took a quick glance at Minmin who's face went red. What could Minmin say she knew Lin Xiaoxiao had seen everything in her room including her "Special" creations. 

"Haha, well let this be a lesson to you o'knight in shining armor." Qin Mei said teasingly. 

At that time a crew member came into the room "Miss Shen, you are wanted on the set."

Letting out a long sigh, Lin Xiaoxiao got up from her seat and dejectedly walked out of the room towards the stage. Her expression changed as soon as she stepped on stage though. She gave a beautiful smile to the crowd as she waved to them.  "Ah! So this is Goddess Lily that Miss Teng Was talking about. If I recall correctly, you are in the last spot of the show today." Meng Hu said as he stretched out his hand to Lin Xiaoxiao

"Yes, that is correct Mr. Meng." Lin Xiaoxiao said as she shook Meng Hu's hand.

"Now Miss Teng, is there anything you would like to say to your Goddess Lily at this moment in time?" Meng Hu smiled as he asked. He was looking at Lin Xiaoxiao's expressions to see if she would make a face but to his disappointment she kept the same amicable smile on that she had when she first came out on stage. 

"Yes! There is. Goddess Lily thank you so much for helping me earlier! Not only that but you went as far as to get me a contract with Empire Entertainment. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you! If there is anything I can ever do for you please do not hesitate to ask. Even if it is my chastity I would..." Her words were cut off as Lin Xiaoxiao covered Teng Fugen's mouth. 

Giving a smile and removing her hand from Teng Fugen's mouth Lin Xiaoxiao said: "Miss Teng, your thanks is enough, there is no need to go down that road. I saw you as someone who is hardworking and talented. In order to even get on this show, you would need to have some kind of backing or at least a recommendation from a producer. For you to be here means that you have what it takes to be a top talent. And since my husband is CEO of Empire Entertainment there was no way I was going to let such a gem slip through my fingers. You deserve a chance to show the world that you Teng Fugen are here. "

Teng Fugen's eyes started to tear up as she started to cry. As she sobbingly said: "Goddess Lily is truly a Goddess!" The whole audience started to clap as they agreed with Teng Fugen. Even some of the more sentimental people had tears in their eyes.  

Lin Xiaoxiao wanted to curse the damn audience. ' Am I going to be stuck with the name Goddess Lily from now on!? ' It seemed to be so as the audience started chanting…

"Goddess Lily!"

"Goddess Lily!"

"Goddess Lily!"

"Goddess Lily!"

Over and over again. 

Teng Fugen, looked up at Lin XIaoxiao her cute little face full of tears as she asked: "Goddess Lily, may I hug you?" 

Of course there was no way for Lin Xiaoxiao to say no since this was a live broadcast and if she did she would waste any chance of gaining good publicity for "The Princess's Knight". Nodding her head Lin XIaoxiao said: "Of course, you can." Lin Xiaoxiao smiled and opened up her arms. 

Hearing that her Goddess said yes. Teng Fugen was so excited she ran into Lin Xiaoxiao's arms… Well, that was what should have happened  unfortunately Teng Fugen was too excited and ended up groping Lin Xiaoxiao's butt while planting a big fat kiss on her lips. Lin Xiaoxia's eyes went wide as well as everyone else in the studio. It took a minute before the audience started to cheer!

Realizing that she had done something she really should not have done, Teng Fugen quickly backed up and dropped to her knees with a * Thump * sound. "I'm so sorry I was too excited! I'm sorry please don't hate me!" 

Wiping her lips and giving a bitter smile. Lin Xiaoxiao put on her acting face even though she really wanted to yell at this girl in front of her. Giving a sigh she bent down and helped Teng Fugen up. "Miss Teng it's okay. Just don't ever do that again please." 

Just when Lin Xiaoxiao was about to smooth everything over a loud voice rang out from the side of the stage. "You stay away from Fairy Lily! Even I! Even I have yet to kiss her!"
