Chapter 125 - Lin Xiaoxiao’s Plans

The rest of the press conference went off without a hitch. No one dared question Lin Xiaoxiao's relationship with Shen Xing or about her pregnancy. After the conference, Lin Xiaxoaio was sitting in a small coffee shop with two of her bodyguards standing next to her. One was Mo Yu while another was a male bodyguard. In the seat across from her was the male reporter who tried to stir up trouble. 

"I'm glad to see that you did not run away." Lin Xiaoxiao said with a smile on her face.

The middle aged man smiled bitterly. ' How am I supposed to run away after the threat you gave me!? I do not want to lose my livelihood because of greed! ' "How could I? I promised I would help Miss Shen out. So there is no way I would run away."

"Un! That is good! Now I want to know how much money they were going to pay you?" Lin Xiaoxiao asked.

"They were going to pay me half a million yuan to slander your name." The Middle age man replied.

"I see… Then we will do this… I want to hire you. As a reporter for celebrities, I am sure you have acquired plenty of skills for doing undercover work. I will triple your salary that you get now and you will only have me as your boss." Lin Xiaoxiao said as she took a sip of her tea.

"That does sound like a good deal but Miss Shen can I ask what exactly I will be doing?" The middle aged man asked. He was confused as to what exactly he will be reporting on.

"It's simple, you will do as you do now. I will be hiring someone to start a website that tracks the stars and their daily life. Each week I will give you the name of a star to track and report on. On top of this, I have two families I will need you to get dirt on for me. One is the Sun family, the family that you were recently employed by. But I want you to keep tabs on Sun Miao and Sun Qui mainly and the other is the Chen family. Chen Zinan to be precise. I want you to keep tabs on her for me. The more information you can gather about these few people the better. I am not someone who does not know how to repay the kindness that has been shown to me. I just have a habit of returning such kindness threefold." Lin Xiaoxiao smiled as she leaned back in her chair. 

"If that is the case Miss Shen then I am more than happy to work for you." Wiping the sweat from his brow the middle aged man gave out a small sigh of relief. He was glad the job was easy. He had plenty of practice when it came to digging dirt on people. As someone who has followed stars for twenty years, he has learned a great deal on how to stay out of sight when following someone. If it was not for the fact that he was being paid to ask such questions today he would never have been caught like he was.

"That's good to hear. Now that I think about it I never caught your name." Lin Xiaoxiao had been so immersed in her plans that she had completely forgotten to ask the man's name.

"Haha… Yes, My name is Peng Yuhan. Most just call me Han." Peng Yuhan answered.

"Then, Han tomorrow come down to Empire Group's main building at ten AM and do not be late." Lin Xiaoxiao said as she got up from her chair. She then turned and faced Peng Yuhan and stretched out her hand. "It will be a pleasure working with you. Here is my number. You will be working directly under me so you do not need to worry about going through anyone else." After shaking Peng Yuhan's hand Lin Xiaoxiao passed him a card that had her name and number on it. 

After receiving the card Peng Yuhan gave a slight bow and said: "It's my pleasure to be working for you, Miss Shen." 

After leaving the restaurant Lin Xiaoxiao got into the waiting black hummer. Her thoughts were on what she should be doing next. After thinking for a while Lin Xiaoxiao decided that she wanted to start building up a company of her own. Not one that would rival Shen Xing's but work with it. Having a reporter to report on stars was just a first step. It would work out for her in the future when she figures out what areas she wants to go into. For now, with the addition of the online celeb magazine, Lin Xiaoxiao also wants to start an acting school. These actors will train to become Empire Entertainment Talents. It will range from singing to acting. And down the road along with the businesses that Shen Xing was managing for her that was left by the Xi family she could have assets to leave her kids in the future or pass down to them once they became of age.

Now she just needed to figure out what other fields she wanted to go into as well. She would appoint people to run the companies while she took care of her kid and continued her acting career. Plus setting all these up now would give her something to do while she can't work. Lin Xiaoxiao took out her phone and dialed Shen Xing's number. "Hello? Xiaoxiao?"

"Xing when you get home tonight I need to talk to you about a few things. I want to start a few companies that can work in tandem with Empire Entertainment. So far I have already hired a reporter to do celeb tabloids and would like to start a singing and acting school. I want to start a few more businesses but I need your thoughts  and to see what you have and don't have already." On the other end of the phone, Shen Xing gave a small smile. He was going to suggest such a thing to her as well since she would not be able to work in acting for a while.

"I will think about it and compile a list of ideas before I come home tonight." Shen Xing answered.

"Okay then! I will see you tonight. Bye!"
