CH.543 Extreme Victory

Name:Yugioh Card Summoner Author:
CH.543 Extreme Victory

Since my new God experiment went so well, after I got a message from Aulis about the next fissure, I decided to run another experiment. That being making a new card for Exodia. One where I wouldn’t need to use five cards to summon him.

So I started like I do, taking out all five pieces of Exodia and Super Poly.

Spoiler[collapse]

I then began installing Exodia copies into the new card. The legs and arms went in fine, but when I tried to install the head, the card sadly began to disintegrate, and it couldn’t be saved.

So apparently I’m not getting a one card Exodia that easily. I’ll keep experimenting. Maybe there is something I did wrong. Maybe I need to include a few of the Exodia variants in the fusion. They might stabilize the Forbidden Demi-God.

But before we get to that, I have a fissure to deal with. And since I wanted to test out my new Gods, I decided to go solo. Not like anyone is in a need of a limit break right now anyway.

The fissure was happening in the middle of nowhere in Bella Kingdom, so I didn’t have to worry about anyone seeing anything.

At first, I thought about summoning both The Wicked Emptiness and Frigg, Goddess of the Aesir, but I decided against it. Just one of them can take care of this no problem. And since I was more interested in how Frigg fights, since Emptiness would just drain all of the HP of whatever monster appeared, I decided to summon Frigg. She then summoned her tokens.

Spoiler[collapse]

I then summoned Exodia, popped open the fissure and just watched over everything.

The monster that appeared was the Nemean lion, an SS-rank lion monster. It equaled a Fenrir in size, but was actually considered stronger than the legendary wolf. Though at the cost of having less stamina, making the Nemean lion the easier of the two to actually deal with, as there was a chance you could tire it out, and then deal with it.

The lion couldn’t match up to the tokens, so in no time at all, Frigg took down the Nemean lion.

And because I dealt with a fissure, I got a new set. .

So after I got back to HomeBase, I immediately decided to open some packs.

EXVC 1

TG1-EM1; TGX300; Clock Resonator; The Resolute Meklord Army; Runaway Karakuri; Resonant Destruction; Boon of the Meklord Emperor; Mektimed Blast; Psychic Feel Zone

[collapse]

TG1-EM1 is just Creature Swap, but you get to pick both targets and yours has to be a T.G. monster. It is fine, honestly.

TGX300 is actually quite nice. I love attack boosting effects on Continuous Spells. And TGX300 is a pretty big one, in some situations. If I control 5 T.G. monsters, all of my monsters gain 1500 attack.

Clock Resonator is just a Resonator. Nothing super special about it. Sure the destruction immunity is nice, but nothing crazy.

The Resolute Meklord Army is pretty meh. Battle destruction immunity is nice, but it negates the attack gain effect of the Meklord Army monsters, which is not so nice. I’d rather have the extra attack stat than the battle immunity.

Runaway Karakuri is a decent boost, but it is still a Karakuri card, so it sucks.

Resonant Destruction is good, but it destroys itself after just 2 turns. Still good, just ... Why does it need that restriction?

Boon of the Meklord Emperor is way too specific.

Mektimed Blast is pretty bad all things considered, but it does fit the Meklord playstyle.

And Psychic Feel Zone is cool, but it doesn’t treat the summoning as a Synchro summoning, which is kind of a letdown.

Next pack.

EXVC 2

Esper Girl; Karakuri Ninja mdl 7749 "Nanashick"; Clock Resonator; Red Dragon Vase; TG-SX1; Psychic Reactor; Mental Seeker; T.G. Warwolf; Chaos Infinity

[collapse]

Esper Girl is ... something. Don’t know what card you are supposed to use to resurrect her from banishment, but she is fine. And she is cute, which is important.

Karakuri Ninja mdl 7749 "Nanashick" sucks, like all other Karakuri monsters. ... okay, it actually is okay, but just way too slow for the time period.

Red Dragon Vase is a wannabe Pot of Greed, but the downside is way too big, so you won’t actually use it.

TG-SX1 is a hyper specific Monster Reborn, so not worth it.

Psychic Reactor is too costly. I don’t want to banish my own Psychics just for that.

Mental Seeker is not all that good.

T.G. Warwolf is nice, just free Synchro material.

And Chaos Infinity ... yeah. What a name for a card. And the card is AWFUL! Who designed it? And named it Chaos Infinity? It should be named: ‘Meklords’ Terrible Trap’, not Chaos Infinity.

Next pack.

EXVC 3

Mektimed Blast; TG-SX1; Mental Seeker; Localized Tornado; TGX1-HL; Self-Mummification; Tyrant's Tantrum; Lancer Dragonute; TGX3-DX2

[collapse]

Localized Tornado is a troll card. As in, a card that was designed to be awful.

TGX1-HL is fine enough, as you are probably weakening a monster you’ll use as a Synchro material anyway. So you just get a ‘free’ MST. And I think MST was either banned or limited at this time, so I’ll let it be, even if it is just a worse MST.

Self-Mummification is as bad as Localized Tornado. Why would you ever use it?

Tyrant's Tantrum might do something interesting in the real world, but as a card, it costs too much to activate for too little payoff.

Elder of the Six Samurai; Karakuri Komachi mdl 224 "Ninishi"; Power-Up Adapter; Clock Resonator; Karakuri Ninja mdl 7749 "Nanashick"; Psychic Reactor; Mental Seeker; TG-SX1; Salvage Warrior

[collapse]

Elder of the Six Samurai just special summons itself. Which is fine, but it could have some higher stats.

Karakuri Komachi mdl 224 "Ninishi" has a lot of right ideas, but it suffers from being a Karakuri.

Power-Up Adapter is an interesting power up card. Sadly it is quite specific, but still interesting.

And Salvage Warrior is fine, despite the fact that you have to tribute summon him. He does special a Tuner from the GY when tribute summoned, so he replaces the monster tributed for his summon.

Next pack.

EXVC 10

Morphtronic Staplen; Clock Resonator; Reboot; Elder of the Six Samurai; Serene Psychic Witch; Red Dragon Vase; Boon of the Meklord Emperor; Psychic Reactor; T.G. Recipro Dragonfly

[collapse]

Morphtronic Staplen can cause a lock if you control two of them.

Serene Psychic Witch can trigger the ‘special summoned from banishment’ effects of Psychic monsters, and it is in a great effect. So yeah, she is great.

And T.G. Recipro Dragonfly is De-Synchro on legs. Or wings, I suppose.

...

Maybe I should do a few more packs? Maybe like 5 more? Yeah. Let’s do five more.

Spoiler

EXVC 11

Out of the Blue; Power-Up Adapter; Karakuri Komachi mdl 224 "Ninishi"; Resonant Destruction; T.G. Catapult Dragon; Fortissimo the Mobile Fortress; Sealing Ceremony of Mokuton; W Nebula Meteorite; T.G. Recipro Dragonfly

[collapse]

Out of the Blue is ... what do I even say about it? I guess it can do stuff, but your opponent 100% knows it is coming. So it definitely doesn’t come ‘Out of the Blue’.

And Sealing Ceremony of Mokuton is just a worse Soul Release.

Next pack.

EXVC 12

TGX1-HL; Serene Psychic Witch; T.G. Jet Falcon; T.G. Catapult Dragon; Red Dragon Vase; Morphtronic Staplen; Morphtronic Lantron; Axe Dragonute; Necro Defender

[collapse]

Nothing new here, next.

Spoiler

EXVC 13

W Nebula Meteorite; Gladiator Beast Tygerius; Morphtronic Lantron; Power-Up Adapter; Self-Mummification; Runaway Karakuri; Red Carpet; Brain Hazard; Reborn Tengu

[collapse]

Brain Hazard is nice. Special a banished Psychic. And Psychics like that.

And Reborn Tengu specials another Reborn Tengu if it leaves the field. Nice.

Next pack.

Spoiler

EXVC 14

Clock Resonator; Out of the Blue; Esper Girl; Elder of the Six Samurai; Sealing Ceremony of Mokuton; TG-SX1; Red Carpet; Gladiator Beast Essedarii; Chaos Infinity

[collapse]

Gladiator Beast Essedarii is basically just a vanilla with 2500 attack. Which is fine, but I think there are better Glad Beasts to summon.

Next, and last, pack.

Spoiler

EXVC 15

Six Style - Dual Wield; Meklord Factory; TG-SX1; Morphtronic Staplen; T.G. Warwolf; Meklord Army of Skiel; ESP Amplifier; Psi-Beast; Shien's Dojo

[collapse]

Wow. Four new cards in the fifteenth pack. Pack Opener really serving a nice last pack of the day.

Meklord Factory is good for Meklords, as it helps in summoning the Emperors.

Meklord Army of Skiel is the best Meklord Army monster. Battle recruiters might be a bit slow for the time, but they are still usable.

Psi-Beast banishes a Psychic from the deck and takes on its level, which is decent.

And Shien's Dojo might be a bit slow, but it is still a great card.

So yeah. Not a bad opening. Got some Meklords, some T.G. stuff, Psychic monsters.
