Chapter 23: Summoning Option
As the sun dipped below the horizon, two figures made their way through the darkness, leaving the makeshift base of the Red Shark Group behind. They walked side by side, a man and a woman, the leader and deputy leader of the Green Eagle Group. Their footsteps echoed in the quiet streets of the post-apocalyptic world as they engaged in a lengthy conversation.
The man, known as Alex, couldn't help but shake his head in disbelief as he spoke with the woman beside him, Maria. "Did you see that guy in the Red Shark Group today, Maria? Zorvax, they call him. I never thought they'd have someone like him. Mysterious as they come."
Maria nodded, her expression reflecting a mix of amazement and concern. "You're right, Alex. I've never heard of him before today. This world keeps surprising us."
Alex continued, "It's not just his mysterious aura, Maria. Did you see what he did with that colossal bone sword of his? He cut a bullet from a sniper rifle for crying out loud! I've never seen anything like it. And the way he lifted that enormous sword as if it were a feather... it's baffling."
Maria's eyes widened as she recalled those moments. "You're absolutely right, Alex. It's like he defies all logic and the rules of this world. He's a game-changer, and we need to be careful around him."
As they continued their discussion, the two of them shared their astonishment about Zorvax and his colossal bone sword. They agreed that the challenges of the evolving world seemed to be growing more complex and dangerous. "This war," Alex mused, "it's not going to be any easier than the last one. Zorvax could be a game-changer."
Maria chimed in, "Indeed, Alex. We'll have to adapt quickly and be prepared for anything. Zorvax's presence in the Red Shark Group adds a new layer of unpredictability."
With a sigh, he resolved to explore the summoning option further. "I have to learn more about how this works," he murmured. He knew that it was time to take a step into the unknown and see what the future held for him.
A night had passed, and the quiet of Zorvax's room was broken by a sudden, urgent knock on his door. He opened it cautiously, still concealed in full clothing and a mask. Peering out, he asked, "What is it?"
The survivor standing at his door appeared anxious, his eyes darting around nervously. With a sense of haste, he replied, "Viktor is calling you. He said it's important."
Zorvax nodded and responded, "Okay, I'll go to him right away." He closed the door behind him, his concealed figure blending into the shadows as he moved swiftly through the narrow corridors. Despite the trust the survivors placed in him, the ever-present shroud of secrecy surrounding his true nature kept him somewhat isolated.
Upon reaching Viktor's room, Zorvax knocked softly before entering. The dimly lit room held an air of solemnity. Viktor, a grizzled survivor with a steely gaze, sat behind a makeshift desk cluttered with maps and documents. Zorvax, his face hidden behind the mask, asked, "What do you want now?"
Viktor leaned forward, his voice low and measured, as he explained, "I think it's time to make a move, Zorvax. We should attack the Green Eagle group right now."
Zorvax looked at Viktor with his dead eyes and murmured, "So the war has begun, huh." Zorvax smiled and laid back at his chair thinking the number of evolution points he will get from the war.
