Chapter 56 - She Falls In Love With Me!

Guan Xian did not go back to his apartment after driving Xia Sha back to her hotel. Instead, his panicked heart let him drove to Serenity Club while rushing his friends to be there. 

Wang Kai, Ji Cun Xi, and Jian Jun put on a frown when they see him coming with a confused face. When he harshly open the door, walk to the table, and finished Jian Jun's glass of vodka.

"I could not believe what I just did," He shook his head with disbelief face. 

"I also could not believe you asked me to come at 2 a.m. after you went on dates." Ji Cun Xi sneers, moving forward to fill his drink. 

"You tell them already?" Guan Xian glared at Wang Kai. 

He only tells Wang Kai he goes on dates with Xia Sha because Xiao Ni's help to impress Xia Sha. And like the good friend Wang Kai is, he monopolized Xiao Ni's all the time. Thus he needs to call him to reach Xiao Ni.

Nevertheless, he did not know Wang Kai will deliver this news to the other so quickly! Hmph, why did he choose this man to be his best friend in the past?! 

He felt Wang Kai is a form of Karma for him.

Being glared at, Wang Kai raised his eyebrow at him. "You want to ride the helicopter without a schedule. We could only push Jian Jun's schedule for you." 

He nodded his head slightly after Wang Kai explained. Feels betrayed no more. But when he remembers that beautiful smiles in the helicopter, he got all frustrated again. 

The boy's eyes perks in interest when he sees him running his hand through his head. Back and forth. 

"What happens?" Surprisingly, Jian Jun is the first one to ask him. He landed his bottom at the black leather sofa. He wandered his eyes to his friends one by one before it landed on the empty glass. 

He frowns and took a deep breath. Wang Kai, Ji Cun Xi, and Jian Jun have prepared the ear to hear his story. "You just won't believe what I just did," He shook his head once again, slowly like he is seriously depressed. 

"What happen exactly?" Ji Cun Xi's repeated Jian Jun's question once again. Guan Xian's poor face has made him restless to know what bothers him. 

"Did she rejected you again?" he asked carefully. After all, Xia Sha has rejected him several times that it's starting to become the concern of the group too. 

Guan Xian shook his head slowly. He dumped his hand and wipes his face harshly. "No, it's even scarier than that!" 

"What did you do? You did sleep with her on the first date, right?" Wang Kai furrowed his eyebrow. 

"I thought she could be different." Jian Jun added his comment on Wang Kai's suspicion. 

Guan Xian's face went black. He narrowed his eyes between Jian Jun and Wang Kai and growl, "We did not! She is not like that." 

Wang Kai smirked. Rather than open his card too early, he decided not to speak again. 

"So, what is so unbelievable?" Jian Jun starts to get irritated. 

Guan Xian grabs a glass full of vodka and finished it again before he opens his mouth. "I, I think I just made a commitment with her." 

Ji Cun Xi gasps loudly, exaggerating even for Guan Xian's rate. 

"You did what?" Jian Jun turns to him with disbelief looks. Only Wang Kai calm enough to smirk and enjoy his drink again. 

Guan Xian runs through his hand from the back of his head to the front again. "I, I don't know. We are in the hot air balloon, I see that she's scared, so I taught her to touch the clouds. You should see how beautiful she looks." Guan Xian smiles without realizing it. 

Ji Cun Xi roll his eyes and look at Jian Jun. He shook his head and waves his hand like he wanted to chop his neck. "Whipped, so whipped." He mouthed at Jian Jun. 

"Anyway, at that moment, she asked me a question. She asked, What if I fall. I don't understand what is she thinking at that time, I thought she's afraid of the height." Guan Xian rose from his seat and began to walk aimlessly. 

"But she looks at me as if I was the only person left in the world. That's when I realized, she is asking what if she falls but not from the hot air balloon," He paused and look at three of his friend with hidden happiness. 

"She falls in love with me!!!"

Ji Cun Xi sprayed his vodka hearing Guan Xian's overconfidence proclamation gagged while Jian Jun's mouth is slightly open. Guan Xian clicked his tongue watching his friend's reaction.

"Wrong interpretation, definitely you misinterpret things." Ji Cun Xi has a full doubt on Guan Xian's proclamation. 

Boy! He sees that man left with no tears after she witnesses her almost fiancee derailment. Also, those videos of her beat up his fiance's hidden lovers had greatly affected his judgment on Xia Sha. 

Simply put, he could not imagine Xia Sha said those things to Guan Xian.

"I refuse to believe it too." Jian Jun raised his hand before wrapped it around his chest. Guan Xian's eyes move to Wang Kai, the only person who can understand him right now. 

Realizing Guan Xian is waiting for his opinion, Wang Kai tilted his head. Instead of answering his question, he jumped at another point and asked Guan Xian. "Well, what about you, are you falling for her?" 

Wang Kai's sharp and dark eyes follow every little gesture Guan Xian made. Guan Xian looked up to the big chandelier in the room and let out a heavy sigh, a frustrated frown, and a big confession. 

"I think, I am." He said silently, almost unheard, but it sure caused a huge blow for his best friends. Ji Cun Xi almost jumped out from his sit. 

"You said you'll never settle down." Jian Jun looks calmer than before. He had his back on the sofa as he smirks at Guan Xian.

"It's one stupid scream at Dubai," Guan Xian makes an excuse to protect himself. 

"So you do want to settle down." Wang Kai said this time, raising his eyebrow at Jian Jun. 

Damn, he falls for their tricks. 

"Come on, it's not like I'm getting married or sh*t" Guan Xian rolls his eyes and slumped on the couch again. He intertwined his hand together and put it on his stomach. 

"It just, this girl make me wanted to protect her all the time. She looks fierce and sarcastic. But we all know why she needs to hide behind her appearance. Everyone just god damns like to bully her!" He pissed off when he remembers all the trouble she has gone through. 

"You know what's funny? I somehow always around when she needed help. Do you think we are fated by heaven?" Guan Xian turns his head towards his friends. 

"I think you are whipped." Jian Jun answered curtly. Guan Xian groaned and close his eyes desperately. 

"She likes you. You like her. It's all good then, why are you pretending to be frustrated?" Wang Kai put down his glass and fold his hand in front of his chest. 

Guan Xian opens two buttons of his shirt and gulps away another glass away. Ignoring the devil that keeps whispering things to him. "The problem is, I don't believe I can do commitment." 

He just firmly said, 'No devil, not today!' and shares his doubt with his best friend. There go the burden that makes him wavering to fights. 

The room turns quieter than before after he let out his worry. Jian Jun and Ji Cun Xi both stayed silent this time. After all, they did not have experience with a commitment. The only one how to have a saying in this matter is Wang Kai. 

So three of them look at Wang Kai with a deadpan expression, as if they were asking 'how the hell you could do that?' 

Smug smiles appear on Wang Kai's face almost instantly. He shrugged his shoulder and hissed. "Well, How can I explain this, I just born with loyal traits." 

"Says the one who stole your best friend sister." Jian Jun right after Wang Kai finished his sentence.

Wang Kai scowls at him while he grinned. Ji Cun Xi rolled his eyes at these two grown-up men. For once, his mind is clear and normal. "Why do you think you can't do it?" he turns to Guan Xian. 

Guan Xian's still give Wang Kai that hatred looks after Jian Jun's provocation. But when he heard Ji Cun Xi's question he is at a loss. 

"Because..." He could not answer his questions. 

"Because you never tried it before," Wang Kai answer the question for Guan Xian. 

"You are scared to come out from your comfort zone."

He looks more serious this time, probably did not want his brother-in-law to hate him more than he already has. Guan Xian is stunned and began to think further this time. 

"You don't want to lose her if you mess this up."

Wang Kai hit the bullet.
