Chapter 180 - Cleaning Up

Long Ying came to the room not long afterwards and immediately moved to Yu Yan. His appearance was no longer the same as before as his long jacket slightly crumpled. But other than that, he looked practically the same as before with no difference whatsoever.

His eyes revealed traces of worry as he inspected his wife. "Are you alright?"

"Y…yeah."

"An Luo will deal with the aftermath. Come with me to the car."

"Ok."

"Hey, you don't have any plan to leave your comrade behind, do you?" Kira stopped Long Ying before he could fully leave with teasing tone. It was clear that he would not want to let Long Ying leave by himself.

"Come with me." Long Ying's tone was indifferent.

Kira shrugged and pulled Lisa to come with him. The four of them headed into the car and An Lin swiftly drove. The model of the car was one that allowed the four of them to sit at the back, facing each other. Yu Yan was quite surprised too because this was the first time she saw a car like this.

"Have you dealt with the security camera?"

"I already take care of it." Long Ying's tone was calm. Even before the event, he had already prepared to make sure that the recording would not be working during the time he fought. It was not good to have the police investigate him because of the underworld matter.

"Good then." Kira sighed and leaned back. He looked at Long Ying and pursed his lips. "How come you're faster than me when you're only a few years younger, ah? Next time, I should bring you to meet my father so you'll taste absolute defeat."

Long Ying sneered. "Unless your father is a monster, I will surely defeat him."

"My parents are monsters." Kira shrugged and didn't continue with the conversation. It would be absurd if he called his parents to come to this country just to fight with Long Ying. "Anyway, I admit you're not bad."

Lisa nodded. "Your wife is not bad either."

"She's unlike you two who lived your entire life in the world filled with dangers at every corner." Long Ying sneered a bit.

"Whatever."

"How do you want to deal with the aftermath?"

"They belong to a criminal group, so all I need to do is to present some kind of information and evidence that will pull them down." Long Ying was unconcerned. As for An Luo, he might need to stay in jail for some time but it wouldn't really take a long time before the other party would be released again. There was literally no need for him to worry so much.

If he really needed help, he had a lawyer who will take care of this matter and there was also the fact that he had some connection with the military.

Kira nodded. "The drug is not completely resolved, though. Those people who have already consumed it might end up harming other people around them due to the side effect."

"I'll send it to a facility for them to develop the cure."

"Develop the cure?" Kira shook his head, finding it hard to believe. "I don't think that you'll be able to do anything with it. Decades ago, the research to find its cure ended in dead end. Those who had consumed it end up dying…."

"Your mother is still alive."

"… Don't you dare curse her."

Long Ying scoffed. He only heard some part from Kira about the drug in their place. it was also the truth that Kira's mother had consumed a bit of the drug when she was teenager and yet, she was still alive and kicking to this day and even becoming the mother of many children with Mr. Kira was her first son. As for the reason why, those people and scientist couldn't exactly find out the answer.

"If there's any news of development, I'll tell you."

"Sure. I'll be waiting for news then."

Kira was unconcerned. He didn't really care about the drug honestly since it was already at international level and there might even be other materials that was used to replace the main ingredients. After all, he didn't exactly know the materials that was used to make it but his parents once stated to him that the main material was extinct.

"Hmm, can you take us to airport?" Lisa asked as she checked her watch. "I'm going to catch on the flight to return back home."

"You're going back?" Yu Yan was surprised. They have only met for such a short period of time and Lisa was already planning to return back.

Lisa nodded. "There's really nothing that we can do here anymore. The trap succeed and the rest of the problems can be settled after extracting some information from them. Also, by handing these matters to the authorities will also sped up the search to a certain degree."

The only reason why she agreed to come was because the trap was interesting. She was getting bored with so many extreme activities that she did over the years and naturally wished that she would be able to have some fun. This fun with Long Ying was exactly what she wanted.

"Wait, what's exactly the trap is?" Yu Yan was a bit confused.

"It's us. By deploying most of Long Ying's men to capture their hideout and fight there, they will think that the rest of us are just the weaklings who might not be able to protect the Dragon Clan Head." Kira let out a laugh. "What a joke. That organization will not be able to live long with them trying to challenge the top of the chain without preparation like this."

Yu Yan was speechless. It seemed that they were indeed used as the bait. She glared at her husband but Long Ying kept a straight face. He would only answer her inquires when they were alone and not in front of these people. 

Lisa was amused when she watched the two people in front of her.. Being young was truly enviable.
