"I can't believe we are doing this! I can't believe we are doing this!", Mia spoke loudly while bouncing in front of the dressing room inside a bridal shop.

They met earlier that morning for brunch, and Brianna and Quentin broke the news that they are getting married at one in the afternoon.

Max, Hunter, Liz, and Mia were confident that Bri and Quentin are joking.

Brianna and Quentin fought and almost broke up on the previous night. After that, even their engagement was difficult to believe in, and marriage on the next day was absolutely unbelievable. However, they had wedding bands ready!

"Some people have make-up sex after an argument, and the two of you decided on a make-up marriage!"

Mia's comment made everyone burst into laughter.

Since then, Mia is unable to calm down. Mia was visibly excited, and she spoke in a raised voice all the time.

Back to the present...

Liz laughed at Mia's silly antics while checking out the selection of dresses for bridesmaids. "Why do you sound like you are the one getting married?"

"I feel like it!", Mia exclaimed. "Actually, it would be more believable if I'm the one getting married. I am engaged for months. MONTHS! Bri got engaged last night and they are tying the knot already!?"

Mia hopped to the door of the dressing room behind which Brianna was with an assistant from the shop who was helping her try out the gowns.

"Hey, are you sure about this? Don't you want to think about it?"

Brianna laughed from the other side of the door. "You are not helping!"

"Oh… I was not aware that I need to help. I am your voice of reason, it's up to you if it's helpful or not, and I am saying that this is too rushed."

Brianna giggled at Mia's silliness. "You are my voice of reason? It sounds more like a voice of treason."

Mia glared at the door and Liz laughed. Ah, the mood was good.

"What's the worst that can happen?", Brianna asked after some time.

"What if you are making a mistake?", Mia asked with concern in her voice.

"Really!?", Brianna shouted. "I've met Quentin at the same time you met Hunter! You bedded Hunter before I did Quentin. You moved in with Hunter before I moved in with Quentin. You got engaged to Hunter before I did with Quentin. How dare you accuse me of rushing and making a mistake?"

Mia pouted in protest. "Sure, sure… but we are engaged for months and planning how our life will change once we are married. Did you make any plans?"

Liz rolled her eyes at Mia. "Did you see what you did?"

"What did I do?", Mia asked innocently.

"Bri is about to get married and because of you, she is talking about divorce."

"I am only concerned that she is rushing.", Mia said to Liz and then spoke to the door (to Brianna behind the door). "Did you think about this well? How did he propose? He didn't force you, did he? Were you drunk or drugged? Or are you pregnant? You know, you don't need to get married because of that, right? Or was he naked when he proposed?"

With every next question from Mia, Liz was more shocked. She had to ask: "What does it matter if he was naked?"

Mia gave Liz a knowing look. "When they are naked, they can make you do things you otherwise wouldn't. I'm speaking from my experience. Hunter removed his clothes and stunned me with all those muscles and then nine orgasms later, I said yes to staying in Seattle with him. I mean… who can say 'no' to that? When a gorgeous man flaunts his body, your brain works differently because he dazes you with his handsomeness."

Brianna giggled from the dressing room. "I don't know how Hunter gets you to do things, but my Q was fully clothed when he proposed. He promised to listen and to do his best to make me happy and I believe him. Earth-shattering orgasms are a bonus that comes included with the whole package of making me happy!"

Mia narrowed her eyes while analyzing Brianna's words. "He was fully clothed when he proposed… What about when you talked about getting married right away?"

Brianna laughed, unwilling to respond. She does not want to lie, but if she says that Quentin WAS naked (both of them were) when they discussed marrying without delay, it would only prove Mia's point.

The truth is that Brianna is nervous like hell. She is not sure if getting married is the right thing, but she knows that she can't imagine her life without Quentin in it.

Last night Brianna and Quentin talked a lot (between making love), and he listened, and she felt complete.

Brianna refuses to worry if she will regret this marriage five or ten years from now because she knows that if she rejects Quentin, she will regret that decision right now. And she will keep the certain happiness of present that has a possibility of sorrow in the future anytime.

The door of the dressing room opened, and Brianna stepped out in a bright red qipao-style bodycon dress that had a mandarin collar, short sleeves, and it kissed the floor as Brianna walked. The dress was decorated with red lace and golden embroidery along the edges.

The store assistant was peeking from the dressing room behind Brianna and gauging Mia's and Liz's reaction.

"What do you think?", Brianna asked as she twirled in slow motion so that Liz and Mia can see her from every angle.

Liz blinked. "It fits you well, but…"

"I know.", Brianna interrupted Liz. "White does not fit this bride. White is for pure, innocent, and unspoiled women and I am none of that."

Mia bobbed her head. "You look like a sexy Chinese bride."

A second later, Mia's face fell, and she looked at Liz. "Ah, it's our turn. We need to pick bridesmaids' dresses to match!"

"Hurry, hurry! We are running out of time!" Mia waved wildly at the store assistant who dashed toward the back of the store, to find options for Liz and Mia.

Brianna ignored the commotion that Mia created. She was busy checking herself in the mirror.

Brianna wondered if Quentin will approve of her look. He is a fashion-freak and impressing him in terms of clothes is not an easy feat because he saw (almost) everything.

Brianna is confident that Quentin will hate all the tiny buttons that will get in the way of removing the dress… on the other hand, Quentin might rip them all off. He was never a patient man when it came to Brianna and she wouldn't want it any other way.

"Did you plan for a honeymoon?", Liz asked Brianna.

"There will be none."

Mia was shocked. "What? How can you skip the honeymoon?"

"We are not skipping, but neither of us can afford a few weeks off from work. Quentin has major changes in his company, and I don't have a personal assistant or anyone else who can fill in for me. So, we decided to break it down into a series of long weekends. Every other weekend we will take Friday off from work and go to a different place."

Liz approved. "Actually, that is a good idea. How long can you stay in one place and not get bored of it? Like this, you will get to explore new things every time."

Mia disapproved of Brianna skipping on a regular honeymoon. "Are you sure you don't care about the honeymoon? There is nothing wrong with you and your new hubby spending a week or two naked on the beach, or maybe snuggling naked next to the fireplace in the mountains."

Brianna looked at Mia questionably. "Are things with you and Hunter OK? You are using the word 'naked' too much lately."

Mia blinked. "What? We are fine. I was just thinking that this is the only chance for you to have a honeymoon. If you pass on it, you can go places, but it will be just a vacation."

Brianna waved her hand, indicating that it does not matter. "Why would I concern myself about missing on two measly weeks in paradise with Quentin? I want my whole life to be a honeymoon where we can't wait to get rid of clothes and experience that skin-to-skin thrill. Two weeks is not enough. I want a lifetime."

Liz was surprised to hear such words from Brianna. "This is the first time I hear you talk about the long-term. You are ready for this marriage, girl!"

"Ready or not, it's coming!", Mia exclaimed.

"Are you talking about Bri's wedding coming or our dresses?" Liz giggled and gestured toward the store assistant who was approaching them while pulling a cart that had various dresses hanging.

Half an hour later, all three girls were wearing red dresses.

Mia's and Liz's were the same, and they were matching in style with Brianna's with the difference that Brianna's dress was floor-length, while Mia's and Liz's ended above their knees and they had no lace.

Brianna approved. "We will take them!"

"Gosh! We have just over one hour for hair and makeup!", Mia exclaimed. "And we should eat something before the ceremony!"

Liz and Brianna laughed. Mia was always a glutton.

"We are going for lunch after the ceremony.", Brianna reminded Mia.

Mia frowned. "Are you telling me that there will be no food before?"

Liz and Brianna burst into another round of laughter.
