21 Make You Worry

Yang Yun was buried in his thought when someone entered the tent again carrying a tray of food.

"You're awake!"

Yang Yun looked up and saw his fiance smiling at him. Two female soldiers followed behind her. When Mingyue approached him, the two soldiers stood near the entrance to guard.

Yang Yun watched Mingyue put down the tray on the table next to him, then she walked to him and put her hand on his forehead.

"Your fever is gone. That is good," Mingyue said with a soft sigh. Her gaze softened as it met with his. "How are you feeling?"

"Good."

She touched his head. "Do you feel any pain in your head? Dizzy? How about your eyesight? Is it okay?"

He grabbed her hand that was on the side of his head and smiled.

"Mingyue. I'm fine." He shifted his body slightly and frowned from the pain. "But my body is aching all over." He tried to move his leg and felt the pain stabbing him. "How bad is the injury on my leg?"

Mingyue watched him and hesitated.

"What?" He frowned, noticing the troubled look on her face. He unconsciously clenched his hand under the sheet. "My leg. Is it bad?"

She took a deep breath. "It might take you six month before you can walk again."

He leaned forward and blinked. "What?" His mind spiraled with various thoughts at once.

He knew he slipped down the cliff, but he didn't expect his injury to be this bad. Yang Yun removed the sheet covering his legs and attempted to open up the bandage to inspect the wound himself, but Mingyue stopped him.

"You can't unwrap the bandage. What if you get an infection?" Mingyue held his shoulder and pushed him to lean back on the bed. Seeing that he had stopped trying to peel the bandage around his leg, Mingyue crossed her arms on her chest.

"Relax. It will probably take you a month before you can start jumping around again," Mingyue said. Her lips curved into a small smile when she saw the surprise on his face.

"But if you listen to the physician and me, and recuperate well, you might be able to do that sooner," she continued.

"You." He didn't finish his words. There was a flash of anger in his eyes, but it soon disappeared when his gaze met her gaze.

He knew that Mingyue had lied to him as a punishment for making her worry. He lowered his gaze. "I'm sorry."

"What are you sorry for? I'm the one who played tricks on you."

He reached for her hand. "I'm sorry for making you worry."

Mingyue pulled her hands away from him.

He pulled her hands again and patted it gently. "Are you angry?"
