260 Do I Look Strange?

When Mingyue stepped out of the fitting room, donned in the wedding gown, she found her sister watching her with her mouth agape. Her cheek started to turn pink as her sister has been staring at her for some time. Mingyue rubbed her arms with the other hand to get rid of her uneasiness.

"Sister, why are you staring at me like that?" Mingyue asked.

Lin Tian Yu snapped out of her daze and laughed. Then, she walked towards her sister. She made Mingyue twirled around twice and smiled. "Not bad. The gown really looks good on you."

Mingyue smiled. Although she agreed that the dress looked beautiful, once she started wearing it, Mingyue felt a bit uncomfortable. The lack of sleeves and the back lace details could be considered indecent if she were to wear the dress in her world.

"Stop worrying. This dress is considered very proper," Lin Tian Yu said. One look at Mingyue's expression; she could immediately sense what her sister worrying about was.

"Since you've seen me in this dress, I should go and get changed," Mingyue said as she turned around.

"What? No!" Lin Tian Yu stopped her. "You've worn the dress, but your look was not completed. Let's get you dolled up." She gestured to the shop assistant, and just like that, Mingyue was dragged away into another room.

Almost an hour later, Mingyue came out of the room, and Lin Tian Yu pulled down the catalog in her hand. When she saw the delicate makeup and hairstyles on Mingyue, Lin Tian Yu's eyes brightened up.

"Do I look strange?" Mingyue asked.

"No," Lin Tian Yu shook her head. "You looked lovely. Let's go out and show this look to others."

Before Mingyue could say a word of protest, Lin Tian Yu had dragged her out of the fitting area towards the front. Knowing that her sister's intent to show her look to Yang Yun, Mingyue tilted her head down shyly.

Soon, they came to a stop. Noticing that the room had turned silent, Mingyue slowly looked up. Her pupil dilated when she saw Yang Yun stood a few feet away from her.

There was something strange about her husband.

It did not take her too long to see that Yang Yun was dressed up in a black tuxedo. His long hair was tied up neatly to a ponytail. He looked handsome.

For long seconds, the couple stared at each other in a daze.

Mingyue was admiring her husband's look in a tuxedo, and Yang Yun was admiring his wife in a white wedding gown.

Yang Yun's brow furrowed at the style of the dress. Although he had seen girls in this world wearing lesser than his wife now, his heart was still uncomfortable. At this time, he wanted to take a shawl or his coat to cover his wife's body so that others would not be able to look at her.

"You look good," Mingyue complimented, breaking out the silence between them.

Hearing her voice, Yang Yun't thought gradually vanished. He stepped forward and stopped once he was before his wife. "You look beautiful, too," he whispered to her ears.

Mingyue's face turned slightly red at his compliment. "I never see you wearing something like this."

"What should I do?" Yang Yun continued to whisper. "I don't want to let others see you like this."

Jiang Mingyue created a small distance from him. When their gaze met again, she could see how his eyes have darkened as he continued to stare at her with passion.

Swiftly, Mingyue looked away. It was at this time that she noticed that her sister and Brother Xue were staring at them along with a few shop assistants. Each of them had a teasing smile on their faces.

Mingyue's face turned redder as she took a step back from her husband.

"Let's take a picture for both of you," Lin Tian Yu said before Mingyue could suggest to return to the fitting room and get changed.

"Pictures?" Mingyue looked at her sister with puzzled.

"Un," Lin Tian Yu nodded. "Let's take a wedding picture of you and my brother-in-law. I'm sure mom and dad would love it as well."

Mingyue stared at her sister in a daze. When did her sister start to address Yang Yun as brother-in-law? What had happened during the time she was dragged into the room for a makeover?

Before Mingyue could figure out what was happening, she was dragged into a corner of the shop. Suddenly, the cameraman stood in front of her, as he began to instruct some pose. Mingyue could only follow the cameraman's instruction obediently.

After a while, with the camera man's instruction, Mingyue raised her head to look at Yang Yun. A smile curved on her lips as she saw the familiar look in his eyes.

A thought crossed her mind. Although they were in a different world, wearing stranger clothes and experiencing different things, the way Yang Yun looked at her would always be the same.

As she continued to meet his gaze, suddenly, Mingyue felt as if her heart was about to burst. Without the cameraman's instruction, Mingyue placed a hand on Yang Yun's cheek and tiptoed slightly to kiss him on his lips.

The camera flashed.

The sun had turned orange when they stepped out of the bridal shop. In the end, Lin Tian Yu did not pick up any wedding dress.

Mingyue browsed through the pictures on her sister's phone. Her finger paused as it reached the photo where she had taken the initiative to kiss Yang Yun. Mingyue stole a glance at her husband beside her. Slowly, her lips turned up into a smile.

During her conversation with her sister earlier, Mingyue found out the real reason why they visited the wedding shop today. Lin Tian Yu wanted to see Mingyue in a wedding dress and to take wedding pictures of her and Yang Yun.

This photoshoot was what Lin Tian Yu and Xue Yi Ming had discussed and planned earlier.

Jiang Mingyue and Yang Yun married six years ago and had their wedding ceremony. With Yang Yun's unclear identity in this world, it would be hard for the couple to get a marriage certificate. By letting Mingyue and Yang Yun wear a wedding dress and suit, it would feel as if the two sisters were married on the same day.

Once Mingyue heard the reason, she pulled her sister into a hug. Though neither of them spoke anything, both of them understood each other's heart.

Two months will pass in a blink of an eye, and then, it will be time for them to leave.
