In the bright afternoon four people were walking out of an airport.
"Feels good to be back." Nathan said patting on James'shoulder.
"Feels amazing" Jeremy agreed squeezing the petite woman in his arms.
Feeling Jeremy's gaze on her Anna face we as red as a tomato.
Walking towards the limo they handed their luggage to the driver and got in.
James had been gone for a week without communicating with the mess that was left behind. He ran his business from France. He wasn't entirely sure what he was coming home to. All he knew was that he missed Katie and Catherine, he was ready to speak to them.
Nathan and Jeremy were dropped off at their respective homes, Anna followed Jeremy leaving James alone in the car with his thoughts. When he finally got home, he opened the door to meet Catherine and Samuel waiting for him.
Clearly Jeremy had told her he was coming back today.
Catherine ran to James giving him a soft hug, James wrapped his arms round his sister. He had missed her.
"Welcome Jamie, I've missed you." Catherine said releasing him from her hold.
"I'm glad to be back." James replied looking around for the only constant person on his mind but he couldn't find her.
Seeing James looking for something Samuel spoke up, "she isn't here, I took her home."

"What? She isn't safe there." James said turning to the door to get Katie.
"She is always safe at her parents house. She is at Zhou residence." Samuel said with his evident anger starting to show.
"Wait she moved there?" James asked looking at Catherine not wanting to speak to the man in the room.
"Yes she did, if a weak man child chooses to run away from her because of his insecurities why do you think she should wait her for you? I took my sister home because she deserves better than you." Samuel said finally letting out his anger
"Samuel!" Catherine cautioned him to stop
"I just wanted to wait to see him, I'll see you later ok?" Samuel said dipping his head to give Catherine a gentle kiss before walking towards the door without sparing James a single look.
"She left? Katie left me." James couldn't believe what he came home to.
"Jamie you left her first, she was in so much pain and practically cried herself to sleep. She called you every time, you weren't just expecting her to wait for you. Especially with her parents being who they were, they obviously wouldn't stand for her in pain." Catherine said always giving the blunt truth.
"I'll get her back." James said confidently.
"I'm sur you will. Welcome back Jamie, I have to go. Let's have dinner ok?" Catherine went up to her brother giving him one more hug before leaving.
All alone in this huge apartment, James didn't know where to start. He dragged his bags to his room, dropping on the bed.
He picked up his phone calling the only person on his mind.
The phone was immediately picked up.
"Hello." Hearing her voice James immediately sat up, now he was at a loss for words.
"James?" Katie said with joy evident in her voice.
"Yeah, Katie come back to me" James hurriedly said.
"Of course I will, I'm yours." Katie replied.
"You will?"
"I'm yours."
"I'm yours."
Katie kept repeating the same thing until her voice started to fade and it felt like he could hear.
"I'm not yours" over and over again coupled with a loud buzzing sound.
Jumping up in pool of his own sweat James realized it was all a dream but the buzzing sound remained. He soon realized it was his phone ringing.
"Hello." James answered sleepily.
"Hey, come join me at 'stream' let's have dinner." Without waiting for a response from James Catherine hung up.
Dropping his phone and lying back down on the bed, he had tried to call Katie before he slept but she didn't answer.
Meanwhile in the Zhou residence, Katie sat on her bed staring at the missed call on her phone, she watched it ring but couldn't bring herself to pick up. She had just stopped crying over him and now he was calling her
Katie knew that if she answered she will be in her car rushing to him, but she couldn't let herself do it.
Just as she was debating whether to call back a message came in.
James finally lifted himself from the bed. He got up to get ready for dinner.
He slowly showered trying to clear his head, putting on Navy blue slacks and pastel polo shirt and burgundy loafers.
When he got to the restaurant he was led to a private room he opened the door and entered but he had expected this to be on the other side.
