Chapter 44 - Darvyn And Delvin

Lucas was drove off to the same road where that creature had suddenly showed up in front of Rose and him. Parking his car there he got off from his car and went into the near by forest.

The moment he entered the forest he suddenly started to roar so loud that if any passer by happens to hear that roar then it is sure that they will surely face a heart attack. Then his features started to change slowly slowly but his eye colour just remained the same scary red colour. He is now transforming from his human form to warewolf form and after transforming successfully without wasting any more time he went deep into the forest. He ran and ran never stopping himself even for a second untill he reached at a specific area where a large house like structure was present there.

After reaching there Lucas again came back to his human form and knocked on the door two times and finally the door got opened. The person who opened the door when looked at Lucas he just started to trembled because of fear.

"Cr... crown Prince Lucas... Please welcome..." The man invited him stammering lightly in fear.

Lucas just gave a short nod to him and then walk in the house further. The inside of the house was complete dark and only a light crystal ball is seen in which so many colourful clouds are mixed together giving a slight light to it's surrounding.

"I knew that you will definitely come here sooner or later Crown prince Lucas. By the way I also was about to call you here, but before I do that you have already appeared here. So yeah... It's a good thing for me." Darvyn the owner of the house and the number one future telling and one of the most powerful male witch of all the time told him and at the same time the candles of the house lit up exposing the face of that male witch.

He was sitting right behind that crystal doing something with it by casting some spells on it.

"What do you mean that you are going to call me here?" Lucas asked getting slightly confused, "and where is your son? Call him now, I have to deal with him." He continued.

"Ohh... Calm down my boy. I know why you are looking for him. Geordi go and call Delvin now." Darvyn said to the man who had opened the door for Lucas.

"Come to the point Darvyn!" Lucas said coldly not showing any type of emotions on his face and he also didn't mind Darvyn when he addressed him as 'my boy' but not as 'crown prince' because he always called him that whenever they met and in reality Lucas is still like a boy to him because he is eight hundred years older than Lucas.

"Ok just answer some of my questions. The girl you are with in the car was someone special to you?" Darvyn asked and Lucas again frowned in confusion and then asked him in the same cold voice, "Why do you want to know?"

"Just tell me Lucas!" Darvyn snapped him back.

"Yes! So what?" Lucas replied.

"Stay away from her." Darvyn replied as if it's a matter of fact.

"What! Are you even in your right sense that what are you talking about?" Lucas asked him still in his icey cold voice.

"Yes crown prince. I'm saying only for the sake of yours. You know that I'm not just blabbering around the things randomly." Darvyn said calmly without letting Lucas's intimidation affecting him even a bit.

Clenching his fists and teeth tightly Lucas asked him the only question, "Can you explain the reason that why I should stay away from her?"

"Because she will just bring disaster in your life Lucas and I guess that it is the least thing you want to happen to your life. Isn't it?" Darvyn said and Lucas just couldn't help but feeling very angry upon Darvyn. How dare he tell him that his Rose will just bring the disaster in his life? How dare he?

But he also could not ignore the fact that he is the best in his job. His all future predictions are always turns out to be true and from so many decades he is the one who predicts the future for their clan. But the most unfortunate thing is even though he can see the future of the person but can't reveal him that what's going to happen in the future because if he does that then the person will automatically die no matter how much powerful the person is. But it's only applicable if the person asks him the question on his own and Darvyn replies to his question but if by any chance Darvyn said the person that what will happen with him in the future without the person's consent then he will just simply loose all of his magical powers which is the least thing he wanted to happen with him. So that's why he is only capable of warning the person about his future so that the person will not ended up being in the trouble he had seen for him in the future. And it's the exact thing he is doing with Lucas.

He knew nether he could tell him about his future nor Lucas could ask for it and even if he asked then there is no way he will just tell him his future only to see him dead in the next moment because no matter what Lucas is still like a son and one of the brightest student for him. He had made him learn about all the powerful magics and spells only to make him more stronger and powerful because it was King Marcus's order to train Lucas in the best possible way so that he can be a successful king of the whole warewolf clan in the future.

"You know that I can't stay away from her!" Lucas stated and Darvyn just chuckled at his words.

"Of course I know. But you have no other choice." Darvyn replied in a playful manner.

"How worst it will going to happen if I choose her over my trouble free future?" Lucas asked and Darvyn just shake his head helplessly but still replied without beating around the bush, "You can't even imagine."

"There must be a way..." Lucas murmured but Darvyn was clear to hear out him properly.

"It's the only way Lucas." He said and Lucas just clenched his teeth in anger.

"Then I will change my future. Just mark my words!" Lucas said holding an unknown confidence and determination in his voice.

But before Darvyn could say something his son Delvin appeared in front of them. He knew very well that why Lucas has summoned him.

Looking at Lucas Delvin just bowed at him respectively and Lucas just gave him a very hard glare asking him to explain everything.

Delvin understood what Lucas wants to know so without wasting any more time he explained him, "I have not any idea that in the car you and that girl will be present. I thought that they are must be some random passers-by and you know very well that my father has instructed me to scare all the normal humans away so that no one will ever dare to cross the forest road and nothing else Crown Prince Lucas. I was not intended to scare that girl who was with you trust me!"

Lucas has already expected this answer from him and he knew that he is not lying. And that's why he let go of for now.

"You can leave!" Lucas ordered and Delvin just once again vanished into the thin air...
