Chapter 45 - You Are Mine Only!

Delvin was the son of Darcy and his beloved wife Aurin. Aurin was a warewolf and unfortunately or we can say fortunately Darvin was her mate despite the fact that he is a witch. Their love story started and finally they got married and gave birth to Delvin.

Delvin was half witch and half warewolf and that is why he appeared like a wolf in front of both Lucas and Rose when they were passing by the road. Delvin was a very powerful and intelligent creature and he got his fire like eye colour from his witch father. Despite of being so powerful he was bound by some rules. And that is to always serve the king. And their king is non other than Marcus Knight. And not only serve the king but also serve the whole royal family with his loyalty. And that's why he respects Lucas as well.

Darvyn was also a very trusted man of the King Marcus and his sole duty is to protect the king and his family from every harm that are gonna happen with them. And it's what Darvyn was doing by giving the advance warning to Lucas that he should stay away from Rose.

Actually when Delvin just jumped up on Lucas's car at that time Darvyn could clearly able to see through his son's eyes everything and that's when he saw Rose with Lucas through his son's eyes. Then using his magics finally he got to know that Rose is not the right girl for him. But at the same time she is the right girl for him because what he found was just a very shocking news after he performed his magic.

He found out that Rose is the one that moon goddess has been selected as Lucas's mate but at the same she will going to bring the disaster in his life. Lucas has a curse that in this life time he couldn't be able to find out his mate by his own and there is a huge story behind it and that's why he has no idea that the girl with whom he is feelings that unknown connection is non other than his mate.

On the other side Darvyn decided not to tell him about her that she is his human mate because if he comes to know about it then there is no way he could able to avoid the horrific incident that is going to happen in the future in Lucas's life only because of that girl Rose.

"Lucas you are challenging your future!" Darvyn said after his son got disappeared from there.

"I know, but one thing I'm sure that I can't leave her. Not now and not ever and it's my final decision." Lucas said with his same cold voice and Darvyn just sighed helplessly. How can he make him understand the real reason. He just couldn't reveal his future to him.

"Ok fine Lucas, do whatever you think is right but have you ever considered that what will happen when you will just find out your mate? That time whom you will choose?" Darvyn asked hoping that at least it will change his mind. But no he was wrong because what Lucas said to him, that was totally unexpected.

"Don't worry about that mate thing Darvyn because somewhere I can feel that except her no one can be able to be my mate. And if by any chance it turns out that she is not my mate but someone else then also I will choose her over my mate." Lucas said straighly as if it's a very easy thing to do for him.

"Lucas you..." Darvyn was saying something but he cut him off in mid way and said,

"Thank You Darvyn for warning me in advance but don't worry everything will be fine. I will make everything fine. And also I have a very strong feeling that except her no one can be my mate because till now I have never felt this much of strong connection with anyone like I am feeling with her. So I will make sure that instead of being the reason of my life's disaster I will make her my biggest strength and power. And you know me whatever I say, I do it under any circumstances. And this time also I will just make this impossible thing a possible one." Lucas said in a very confident and determined voice and this time Darvyn has nothing to rebuke about because he knew very well how stubborn this boy is always.

"Ok Lucas, do whatever you want to but later don't tell me that I didn't warned you before." Darvyn said in a helpless tone but Lucas has no expression on his face at that time but only god knows that how many complecated things are running inside his mind.

"Hmm... I should go now." Lucas said and then coming out of that house he again shifted to his warewolf form and came out of the forest towards his car and then shifted into his human form.

No one noticed this scene because in reality no human have ever dared to cross this road in the last few years. Darvyn and Delvin, both have just made sure to scare every human out there so that no one will dare to cross the road because they never wanted any human to found out about their whereabouts.

But only the non human creatures like vampires, warewolfs, witches who are living with the humans in disguise are not afraid to pass by this road because they knew about the existence of Darvyn and Delvin and they also never dared to invade their privacy because they knew the consequences very well.

After shifting back to his human form Lucas sat back in his car and then just leaned back closing his eyes slightly. After thinking about something for a while a small smile just appeared on his face and finally when he opened his eyes, they are again turned into his previous blue eye colour.

He didn't know untill now that he is already gotten very addicted to Rose that it's next to impossible for him to leave her. At first he was feeling very confused regarding his feelings for her. He couldn't able to understand that why he wants her to stay closer to him everytime and why he felt jealous whenever she talks with any other men.

But when Darvyn told him to stay away from her, then only he realised that how much she means to him and how much she is special to him. He just couldn't able to take her out of his mind and here Darvyn was saying him to completely stay away from her which is just simply impossible for him! Then finally his mind just went back to the moments when she was pleasing him so badly. He could remember each and every details in his memory very clearly and that's why by remembering them a small smile just started to appear on his face unknowingly.

"No matter what, I will never leave you Rose because you are mine only!" He mumbled these words possessively and drove off from there still smiling like a fool...
