37 The Eradication

After the village head finished talking everybody dispersed to prepare. I went back to Tulgas hut to go to orchard with her. When i entered her hut she was eating Lhasa. I asked her to give me Lhasa as well. She reluctantly pushed her bowl to me.

I laughed at her and went near to open her mouth with mine and slipped my tounge inside to search for it myself. She got a confused expression on her face at first and then settled down as another one of my weird behaviours. I then broke a lhasa into half and shared a half with her and to put another half in mine.only to swap it between our mouths after drenching it with our saliva.

While eating she told me the old head would typically call the people with power to cut down zukr vines together for another meeting. Once we finished all the fruits in the bowl we went together to the orchard with my hand around her hips and hers around mine.

When we entered the orchard we noticed that some trees have started shedding their leaves. Ours legs made crunching sounds as we walked on the fallen leaves and flowers.

Tulga as usual went to melt the shit out the trees with biggest zukr vines. I also turned to go to a tree to use my gift. Only this time instead of choosing a random tree i choosed the ones with biggest zukr vines.

When i communed with the tree i horrifyingly found the zukr vine to be thicker then the ilphyr's trunk.The entire length of the Ilphyr tree was punctured by black thorns.

Even though I remembered seeing the Ilphyr tree to be the same size as others physically. In the metaphysical state the tree was really thin and instead of a raging river only had a thin stream running along its trunk.

I had to stay activating my gift for a long time to slowly increase the energies coursing through the Ilphyr. The Ilphyr tree gradually increased its width and once it reached its regular size started dislodging the thorns.

When i finished my gift, I came awake to notice the sun has nearly passed over my head. I then felt the cold and clammy feeling all over my body similar to when i first activated my gift. I felt my spirit drained and my mind slipping its focus.

I leaned against the tree and made myself comfortable to sleep. I woke up again when i felt somebody's hand touching me. I opened my eyes to see tulga standing before me.

"Gan wake up, the village head has asked us to come to his hut.".I tiredly stood up and with an hand on her shoulders for support started walking back.

When i reached the old heads hut I saw a group of 6 to 7 people standing infront of his hut.I recognized the cutter sayaar in the group. We shambled slowly and joined with others.
