Heading into the dungeon took longer than they thought. Complications on the otherside made the process longer. But the full team was all together. A chance for them to coordinate for the better maybe?
The new dungeon was lush and very expansive from the readings that came back. The teams shot off in several different directions. But Gray and crew just walked to get use to the environment.
The air was oversaturated with "wild aura" and "psychic energy." So much so, all of their pokemon were released to enjoy the atmosphere.
A blue bubble appeared with gold text. Giving Gray an additional mission to accomplish along with the others.
(Trainer is to Master Beast Out, and stabilize all Poke' Souls currently. Failure is not allowed.)
The good news, the time ratio was better for this place. A day here was an hour on the outside. But the gate was still unstable. So that could change.
The Dungeon was named the Primordial Dungeon. For good reason with how wild the place made someone. Instincts pushed further to the forefront if you were not in control of yourself enough. Or psychic energy to keep clear mentally.
But pokegear and other items helped out. Which a good bit of the people bought on the outside and fined tune once getting inside.
The group was somewhat bothered, Sabrina was somewhat anxious. Clair looked to happy about something. June, Bea, and Hilda talked amongest themselves. Crystal kept running along the path with Officer Abigal getting the feel for a certain move she learned. Jackie hummed as she moved. The environment felt wonderful to her. The same as the one she grew up in.
Diantha and Cynthia talked with each other mentally. The place did something wild with Cynthia and her emotional state. Diantha had to keep her calm for now. She really wanted to start fighting.
Silver and Gary stuck to the back. Both in a slight daze but not from the area but the females in the group. The ratio was really bad between them. Of all people to come with them was Dawn. She and Gary getting closer by the day. Despite the fact, she did not like Gray at all. May and her "Blaziken" husband also tagged along.
May had others from gray to keep a look out for certain... items and pokemon. Something she was able to do very easily. Out of everyone, Dawn was the only one not part of his team.
As for Gray....
Gray was running while in the Pokesoul state. Getting more intuned with the Primordial Jolteon Pokesoul he had. The other "Mews" in their different Eevee disguise ran along with.
Savage kept pace. Giving a few pointers as she could and learning some things for herself at the same time.
It was around noon when the group decided to take a break. Some grabbed a quick bite to eat then went off to train. Sabrina walked over to Gray with a determined look on her face. Clair watched from the side, slightly puzzled.
"But the Fist badge is still there, so no reason to even deal with a challenge against you at all." Hilda chimed in. She sipped her water right after. Aware that Sabrina was more powerful here than she was out there. 'Gray has a weird connection with her. No reason to allow certain commonly wiles to take place.'
"He will if he wants more power and less trouble to go on the path of the Champion Road." Sabrina cut her a look before turning back to Gray who looked unbothered. He was staring up into the sky. Eyes focusing on the path of several energy type currents. They moved liked rapid waters. "The more badges.. the more power he has. You will also be able to move in the restricted area on the path to. The area is full of released Pokemon from various trainers, former gym leaders, and even a few Pokemon Professors. It is not called Champion Road for nothing."
"Grampa said the same thing once when I was on my journey." Gary had moved up joining the conversation. Healthy as can be thanks to his partner Raph as he now called him. The Victini disguised angel took a real liking to Gary. "If you collect 8 badges and 8 Elite badges, the standard and elite route is not that bad. But if you gain 10 and 10 that is when things kick up a notch."
"Gain all in the region... and you fight against the Pokemon Masters and the Ace Trainers that inhabit the Gym's they have on Elite road." Sabrina's eyes flared darkly a little. "You need to beat all of them to stand a chance against Arceus and it's agents."
"Hmm ok." Gray agreed with that statement. The Pretender did have an army after all. So steps for self power needed to be more present. Recruiting was going well from the few contacts he made already. And his POkemon team was quite strong. Even with the transfer of Midnight the Umbreon and the loss of Pyron the Pidgeot. "Need to capture more pokemon while here while I am at it."
*Blaze!* A burning portal opened up not to far from them. Condense of pure fire aura type. Out stepped an Entei. It's power pushed towards the group but was deflected with ease by Gray.
It was just the ability "Pressure" that was released.
"Fiel.. it has been a long time." The Entei spoke deliberately towards Gray's inner self. Know one else mattered to it. Eyes dark with malicious intent. But deep down, a self-hatred for itself more than anything. "Never in my wildest dreams did I think we would meet under these conditions."
*Pulse!* Dark aura released from Gray as he instantly beast out. The pokesoul state of Giratina was all he wore as he attacked wildly. Gray's own ability of Pressure pushed the others back and away.
"Bah!" Entei released a Fire Blast directly at him. Not even 10 feet out it's mouth, Gray plowed through it with his claws. Ripping the attack apart as he used Glare on Entei. It shrugged it off but stepped back. "Grrr!" Entei growled back trying to insert dominance.
"TRAITOR!" Gray spat out. The wild aura in the air entered his body increasing his state of beast out. Slowly his human features completely disappeared as he had the form of a Giratina fully. "Aiiiii!"
A bestial cry released into the area. Which had several problems. Dragon/Flying type's started to go crazy. As well as Dark/Ghost Types. They were assaulted by the memory of Gray as Giratina fighting against Arecus. As well as seeing those who fought on the Pretender's side.
Entei had betrayed them early own in so many ways. And once more during this time. Fire pokemon that fought found themselves weaken as they were suppressed.
Silver started to claw at his face. Never had he felt such raw emotion. Depp inside he felt a stirring before launching forward to join the fight. His partner the Haunter fusing with him instantly.
Spectral hands shot forward as he tried to claw at Entei that moved away from Gray. The others couldn't believe the sight. Especially Crystal.
She sat down shivering at the once docile Silver attacking ruthlessly. To stunned to join in the fighting herself. June, Sabrina were to busy keeping Cynthia from losing control. Diantha fainted from the mental onslaught that reached her.
.
Losing one self to the past!-
.
Gray and Silver pressed Entei into running. The others dealing with the area themselves. The others who were training, made haste to return feeling the power of Gray lashing out.
"Bah!" Entei jumped from area to area. Firing Fire Blasts at Gray. Unable to hit Silver who floated in and out of real space to quickly. "Ughh!" Entei groaned in pain as the hands caught him.
Silver's used the move Dark Claw. They circled around then clutched at Entei's mane. With a hard pull, the claws pulled back and stopped the Pokemon long enough.
*Fwish!* Gray teleported right under neat and flipped the pokemon over. On it's back, Entei could barely move as Gray's increasing weight as he changed more and more to meet the size of an actual Giratina. so far, he was a 3/10 there.
"DIE!" Head pointed down as he fired a Hyper Beam point blank. The large energy pushed Entei down into the ground a little. Some damage, but not a lot considering the haste it was fired at.
Entei released is aura fully. Fire burned out pushing Gray off in a burst. The damage was minimal, which shocked the Pokemon a little. It's eyes slitting in disgust.
"SO you have changed. How distasteful!" Entei used the move Extreme Speed as it attacked quickly. Dodging out of the way of attacks from SIlver. Who was only getting stronger by the moment. "No longer pure at that. Maybe I was right to side with Arceus after all?"
Gray floated forward on air currents. His wings barely flapping as the aura in the air did the work. The environment started to change into darkness. A black gate forming up above. Spanning across the entire sky.
Silver fired the move, Dark Pulse, off. It was three times the size of a normal one. Hitting Entei directly in the back. This attack did some damage to the pokemon. It's knees buckled slightly as it slid.
"Bah!" With a rearing of his head, Entei fired a golden Fire Blast at Silver. It lit the area up in light, blinding the pokefused trainer long enough for him to get hit. "Haa.. haa.. ha...." Entei felt the pain of releasing such an attack. The body experienced fatigue for a moment. 'Where is Fiel!?'
Entei searched around quickly, but could not see his opponent. He didn't spot him, but could feel him all around. A look above revealed where he was.
Black Gate opened up as Gray released all of his aura. The Blessings shining brightly around him. Bringing a little clarity back to his mind. It last just a moment as he rembered the pain of losing Pyron for being to weak.
"SHADOW FORCE!" Gray disappeared from sight completely. Turning into the immaterial to strike. Black currents moved around every area that could lead to an escape by Entei.
Entei lit up in flames as it tried to barrel through. But was met with resistance each time it almost pushed through. As it became desperate, the flames on it's body turned a golden white.
"Raaaah!" Entei howled as it fired in every direction. While it attacked, Gray moved to Silver and removed him from the area. Then returned to attack. "Come out! Since when were you a coward?!"
Up above, Black Gate started vanish. Taking with it, the souls of countless pokemon that died in the area over time. Some old and some recent. Gray was running out of time to attack.
*Fwish!* Dark swirls reformed as aura wrapped and pierced Enteiin place. A phantasm image of Giratina rammed into Entei. Not affecting its body but attacking its soul and mind. The actual move of Shadow Force missed for the physical part of it.
"RAAHH!" Entei howled in agony. Gathering it's focus,
Gray appeared from out of the phantom. Returned to a human state but with a feral look on his face. Pink and purple energy raged as his eyes shined. He started to Beast out, but powered by pure psychic energy.
*Boom!* The psychic energy released into a crescendo. Gray started to turn into his Yevtal form. Both only partially. His horns outstretched as he charged to continue fighting.
In his weakened state, he energy was able to mesh with his pokemon that resided within him. Mismagius lent her power giving him a hat. Darkrai gave all of her power in the form of the scarf as usual.
"To weak Fiel!" Entei broke free and charged using a simple move. It used Quick Attack and rammed into Gray. Trying to knock him off did not work. "Ugghh!" The pokemon groaned in pain as Gray buried his talon like fingers into it.
*Fwip!* The scarf stretched and wrapped around Entei to help keep Gray secured. Entei ran with Gray despite the pain it was receiving from the attacks. It bashed around trying to dislodge Gray but only caused pain to itself.
'Almost there.' Entei thought to itself. The entire time it moved with purpose to get Gray further from the others. Despite its words earlier, Entei wanted to speak with Gray alone. Which was not easy considering the last time they met. 'There!'
Up ahead was a canyon. Not formed naturally at all. Formed long ago from Pokemon fighting. Legendary Pokemon as they are called in these days.
