From Alice:

The moment they read this, Dannie and the others nodded to each other and she took the lead in leading the others going towards the back part of the house. The moment they arrived, what Dannie's father said was true. There were only a few zombies, so they decided to kill them silently.

Tyler was about to enter when suddenly Geof stopped him. "I'll do it, leave it to me," he suggested as he got his katana and walked stealthily towards his target. The others waited patiently for him.

He climbed the back gate and the moment he landed, he accidentally stepped on a twig, making a sound that had attracted zombies to turn to his direction. Instead of panicking, however, he gripped the handle of his katana and slashed the zombies to their deaths as quickly as possible.

He was fast. He ran towards the direction of the zombies, knelt down, then quickly cut their legs to stop them from walking. The moment the zombies were immobilized, he focused on the others walking towards him. After killing them, he went back to the zombies on the ground and killed them in one hit with his katana. It was a clean kill. The battlefield was not very bloody in any way. This amazed the teenagers who watched as they waited.

"Clear," Geof said and the others slowly climbed up the gate one by one.

Once they reached the ground, they decided amongst themselves to refrain from using their guns unless needed. The gunshots might attract zombies. They don't even have their silencers with them.

"Wait," Geof whispered, stopping the others in their tracks. He took a peek to see what was happening on the other side.

Looking at Geof, Tyler found him amazing. They just met him in Pangasinan as their enemy's right hand but with proper observation they realized that he was a good person and that he was talented. It was obvious that he had learned how to use the weapon for a very long time before the apocalypse even happened.

Geof returned his gaze at the people with him and gave them a thumbs up. "The coast is clear. You can now lead us, Dannie," he said and she nodded, finally taking the lead.

After some time, they entered the kitchen through the back door. Everyone looked at Dannie the moment they came inside, waiting for their next move.

"Remember what dad said? We should lock the doors, especially the main door. He did not say this, but we have to make a barricade in places near the rooftop. We only have one staircase so obviously, we will use the second floor lobby's couch to barricade the stairs. We also need to get grenades in dad's room," Dannie instructed as she showed them her dad's key.

"Let's get to it, then. Don't also forget the windows," Tyler said and added then everyone nodded at each other as they all proceeded in what they needed to do.
