Chapter 155：Sheloah, Are You Ready?

Veon and Shannara started looking at the two acting like a natural couple.

The four of them ran again and hid behind a shed near them when Sheloah suddenly volunteered to distract the zombie.

"I'll be part of the distract team," she said then Veon suddenly spoke, making everyone look at him.

"I'll be her partner," he said quickly then he pulled Sheloah over to him, making the girl look at him in confusion. Sheloah felt like an object being taken away from Veon. "You guys take care of the cocktail," Veon added and the two looked at him.

Kreiss raised a brow at him. "Are you sure Sheloah's going to be safe with you," he asked and Shannara rolled her eyes at him.

"Puh-lease… coming from you, her kidnapper? Veon knows her best. Of course, she'll be safe," Shannara said, making Kreiss look like he had said something stupid. What Shannara did next, surprised everyone.

"Woah," Kreiss reacted when Shannara shot him a cold look as she pointed her gun at his head.

"Consider this Kreiss dead on the spot once he does something fishy while we get the materials," Shannara said, making Veon and Sheloah open their eyes wide.

Kreiss chuckled as he held the tip of Shannara's gun. "Relax," he said and Shannara just rolled her eyes at him.

"Sheloah, are you ready," Veon asked her and she nodded.

They were about to start the plan. One small mistake, and it may cause a ripple in the overall results of their plan.

"Kreiss, just contact me once you're done," Veon said and Kreiss nodded.

The kidnapper looked at Shannara. "Let's go then," he said and Shannara was suddenly taken aback when she was suddenly pulled by Kreiss.

Kreiss held Shannara by the hand and they ran back towards the house. Now it's Veon and Sheloah's call to distract the zombie.

Veon shot the zombie, making it look at the two. "You're going to have to follow us," Veon said and the zombie cocked its head, slightly angered by the attack done by Veon.

The zombie suddenly ran towards them, doubling its speed. This made Veon and Sheloah get surprised. Veon instinctively took Sheloah by the hand and started running with the girl beside him.
