Chapter 235 - Twins Birthday (20)

Roughly 12 years ago, DX suddenly received a text message from William Tan asking him to drop by his house in the evening. At that time, he was with the twins' mother. Once he was done, he wrapped a towel below his waist and went to the balcony to smoke.

The woman wrinkled her nose when DX got back to the bed, "I don't like it when you smoke..."

"Then get another man...Didn't I tell you to leave earlier? I have things to do," said DX as he checked his phone.

The woman pouted, "Come on, not even a snuggle?"

"You know how I feel about this...You told me that you want that dress from Chanel. I'll get someone to send it over to your house later in the evening," said DX gruffly while he replied to William Tan's message.

Still naked, the woman walked to DX and rubbed her perky breasts against his arm as she pleaded, "Come on, President Du. Come to bed with me..."

DX flung her hands away before glaring at her coldly, "Do not forget who owns who here. Your role is to warm my bed and appear as my girlfriend. I'm sure you have received plenty of benefits from that. Don't expect too much and don't think that I won't replace you with someone else."

He took the pill on the nightstand and handed it to her along with a glass of water.

"Take it now and go."

The woman sighed and took the pill. Once DX was sure that she swallowed, he went into the bathroom to freshen up without giving the woman a second glance.

Unknown to him, the woman never placed the pill in her mouth. She hid it in between her fingers and when he was gone, she threw it out of the window.

When DX arrived at William Tan's house in the evening, the entire Tan Family, coupled with reporters from major news network were present. Even Layla and Dr. Phillip were invited.

"I wonder what is going on here..." murmured Layla as the three of them watched William Tan dragged Tiffany into the middle of the living room before he threw her onto the couch.

That was the first and the last time they saw him handled his woman so roughly.

As he stared angrily at the woman who was sitting on the couch, William Tan clenched his fists to calm himself down. After two months, he had finally found her after she pulled the disappearing act on him.

Not long after she was gone, he found out that his parents went and talked to Tiffany Tang behind his back. From what his younger brother told him, the words that their parents used were demeaning and unkind to the poor Tiffany Tang.

When the private investigator that he hired came back with her news, William Tan immediately drove 12 hours to pick her up before drugging her so that she would not attempt to jump out of the car during the ride home.

"William, don't do this..." cried Tiffany Tang.

In front of everyone else, William Tan snapped, "Do you think you can leave me just like that?!"

He leaned down and with his hands on her shoulders, he growled, "I WOULD NEVER LET YOU LEAVE!"

Tiffany Tang who was used to being treated kindly by him trembled when she saw his angry face. Seeing the fear on her, he laughed, "Yes! Be afraid! Be afraid of me, Tiff! I'm the only one in this world that you should be afraid of!"

He then turned to glare at his parents before saying loudly for everyone to hear, "Did you think that I would never find out about the things you did behind my back? Guess what...I did something behind your back too..."

William Tan held a document up and turned around to face the reporters. With a smug face, he handed the document to one of the reporters before saying, "Take a good look at what is stated in this."

The reporter took a quick glance and when he realized what the report was, he gasped, "A vasectomy?!"

Tiffany Tang's view was obstructed by William Tan but she noticed that his parents had a horrified expression on their faces. Even Javier Tan who was normally jovial had the same expression.

"Yes!" affirmed William Tan. He laughed maniacally before saying out loud, "That is my vasectomy report. William Tan Feng Xing is no longer capable of producing an heir for the Imperial City's Tan Family!"

Turning to his parents, he snapped angrily, "You called my woman, the love of my life, a flawed product. You said she did not deserve me because she lost her ability to give birth. Guess what...Neither can I now."

The reporters were asking a lot of questions as they took hundreds of photos.

Ignoring all of them, he turned to face Tiffany Tang. While he spoke out loud for the benefit of the reporters, he signed for her, "Tiffany Tang, to my parents and the rest of the world, I am just like you now. An imperfect being. A flawed product. With that said, would you please take me as your husband?"

Tiffany Tang looked at him. She was confused by what he meant by "imperfect". He was the most perfect man she knew. When she saw Javier Tan signing behind his brother, that was when she realized what he had done to be with her.

Tears started to fall as she cried loudly. As a deaf person, when she cried, she did not know how horrible her voice was. It was so bad that the reporters winced from it. Only William Tan smiled as he opened his arms to her.

Meeting his soft loving gaze, Tiffany Tang went and hugged her lover as she wailed, "Yes!"

He kissed her hard before parting long enough to sign, "Don't ever leave me like that again...You scared the sh*t out of me..."

She nodded and hugged him tightly as she apologized over and over again.

"Holy f*ck..." Dr. Phillip gasped as he watched the scene unfolded. When he received the message from his friend asking him to come over, he did not expect this to turn out.

Layla shook her head as she murmured, "That idiot has finally lost his mind..."

Unlike the other two, DX merely folded his arms and smirked, "At least he finally has his balls back now..."

Once he was done with the story, Kai Xin shook her head and sighed sadly, "No...That is too much for a sacrifice..."

DX shrugged and pulled her down onto his chest, "He has always been an obstinate person and growing up, he made it clear to everyone that Tiffany is his. So, I'm not at all surprised when he did what he did. It's a highly effective method to keep his parents off his case and to prevent them from doing the same thing to Javier."

"They grew up together?" asked Kai Xin.

DX nodded as he thought about their past, "Tiffany's the daughter of his one of his maids. Basically, they have known each other their whole life."

They laid on the bed and enjoyed each other's presence for a moment until Kai Xin pointed out, "Shouldn't you be a good host and tend to your guests?"

"Layla's helping me with it."

"But Layla is your guest too. Go! I would be fine here."

"But-" DX was about to protest but Kai Xin cut him off by kissing him.

Once she was happy, she said, "No guests are allowed to come up here willy-nilly, right? I'd be fine. I promise. I won't leave the room."

She saw how worried he was earlier and since she was tired, there was no point in leaving.

When DX seemed reluctant to leave, Kai Xin added, "If you start to neglect your duties, those people are going to call me a witch."

With a sad look, she pouted, "Do you want others to call me a witch?"

He smirked, "As if they dare...But I understand your concern. You can stop with your tricks. I'll go and perform my duty. After that, I will come back and perform my husbandly duty."

With a laugh, she asked, "What husbandly duty?"

"You will know when I perform it later..." said DX with a mischievous grin. He gave her a quick kiss before putting on his coat and leaving the room.
