He glanced around, and when he saw a dirty rag nearby, he took it and when he was in front of Mrs. Luo, he held the rag out and said coldly, "Stuff this into her mouth."
When Mrs. Luo saw the dirty rag, she tried to escape but they were too strong. One of Ghost's man took the dirty rag and stuffed it into Mrs. Luo's mouth.
"Pull her left hand out. Make sure she doesn't make a noise," said Callum.
Mrs. Luo went wide-eyed and she shook her head. When one of the man forcibly pulled her hand out and placed it on the ground, she tried to fight back.
However, it was useless. Without her men, she was basically a weak woman who had no fighting strength.
Callum placed a feet on the back of her hand. He did not place any force on it. Yet.
"This is how you stepped on my beloved Guang Ying, right?" asked Callum as he smiled at her.
Mrs. Luo shook her head as she looked at him with a pleading manner. However, Callum felt disgusted when he saw her and he pressed his boot down so hard that a loud crack could be heard.
Mrs. Luo screamed but her voice was muffled by the dirty rag in her mouth.
Callum glanced down at her coldly as he snarled, "How dare a worm like you placed your hand on my man. If you think this is it, then you're wrong… As for your son, you should be glad that he's in solitary confinement…"
He grabbed her throat and lifted her up. He then tightened his grip on her throat. As Mrs. Luo clawed at his hand for air, he hissed, "Do you think that your son would be safe forever?"
When Mrs. Luo heard the threat, she glared at him. Beads of sweat were rolling down her forehead as she endured the pain.
"This won't be the end," thought Mrs. Luo as she glared at him.
"Young Master..."
One of his men called out softly. When Callum glared at him, the man nodded towards Ghost.
Callum dropped Mrs. Luo on the floor and turned to look at Ghost.
"No... Not now... " said Ghost weakly. The man standing next to him repeated it to Callum.
Callum sighed. He glanced at one of the Russian men for a second before he kicked him right on the ribs.
A loud crack was heard, followed by the man's piercing scream. It barely satisfied his anger. He wanted them to suffer more for what they did.
Callum was annoyed that he could not do anything now. Clenching his fists, he glared at Mrs. Luo. He then snapped at his men, "Take them back to Shenlong House. I'll deal with them later."
His men saluted, "Yes, young master!"
Callum cursed. If it was not because of Ghost, he would have pounded the woman in immediately. He had no sympathy for such a cruel woman.
The psychopath in him threatened to emerge but Callum had to close his eyes and force himself to calm down.
At this moment, he just wanted to make sure that Ghost received the care that he needed first. In addition, he did not want Ghost to see him when he went on a rampage.
He gently carried Ghost up in his arms and to avoid any unnecessary jarring, he walked slowly. When he was outside, the medical van had arrived.
He immediately placed Ghost on the stretcher and said to the medics, "A broken left hand, palm area. It was badly broken before so make sure you guys take care of him. A possible cracked rib or more. Possible whiplash...He said that he didn't hit his head but just to be safe, make sure you guys check him properly."
The medics nodded.
Callum looked at his men and said, "He's your future master. Take care of him or there would be serious consequences."
"I knew it!"
Ghost thought that the voice was familiar and when he opened his eyes, he saw the middle-aged nurse.
Only, she was dressed in the same black attire. On her shirt, there was a white Phoenix that was sewn on it.
"It's you… " murmured Ghost. He was worried about her and he asked weakly, "How are you? He didn't hurt you badly, did he? I'm sorry..."
"There's no need to apologize," said the nurse.
Callum scoffed, "Hurt? As if a slap could hurt her."
Ghost looked at Callum with a confused gaze and the latter explained, "Before she became a nurse, she was one of the deadliest medics under Shenlong Family."
He bent down and swept Callum's grey bangs back before he whispered, "Did you seriously think that I'd leave you unprotected?"
Ghost looked at the nurse and said, "Really? You're with this id*ot?"
"Yes… I'm a pretty good actress, aren't I?"
It was as if the drug had rendered him stupid and Ghost did not understand what she was saying.
So, she explained, "When I bumped into that ugly man earlier, I might've accidentally placed a tracker in his jacket."
She then straightened up and said, "Our Young Master Xun here placed a tracker on you but he knew that the kidnappers would search you first. So, he immediately transferred me over and told me to watch over you."
Ghost glanced at Callum for a long time. After a while, he said, "Thank you…"
Callum smiled, "Enough talking. Rest now…"
Ghost nodded. He watched as Callum placed the oxygen mask over him. Once he was done, Ghost then closed his eyes and within a few seconds, he had fallen asleep.
He got down from the medic van and once the door was closed, he turned to the nurse and said, "I expect you take good care of him."
"Eh, he's Young Master Xun's wife. Of course I'd take good care of him," said the nurse as she winked at Callum.
Callum nodded. His cousin came over at the moment and said, "15 dead people from the Su Family. What do you want me to do with the corpse?"
"Send their corpses back to the Su Family along with my emblem," said Callum with a cold voice as he looked at the dilapidated building.
At that moment, he sounded like DX and Shenlong Yuan approved of it.
He had always thought his younger cousin lacked the leadership quality that was needed to lead the family, but he was wrong.
Callum had the leadership ability but he just refused to take on the responsibility.
However, when push turned to shove, Callum was more than capable to do it.
After a while, he added, "Burn this place to ground."
Once he had given the instructions to his cousin, Callum climbed onto the medic van again.
Revenge was important but so was Ghost, and to him, Ghost was more important than anything else.
