Chapter 86 - Alex VS Alan 3

"Hello everyone, it's actually in a sad tone that I'm doing this life, but I thought you might want to hear a lot from me, so here I am! I am thankful to my fans and all the people that are watching this live, even if it won't be a happy and cheerful one!

I assume you are all aware of what had been going on about me and Mr Porter since last night and I'm here to tell you the part of my story! I'm not really that cool about telling you the story of my life because I wanted it to stay private, but I choose to do it to avoid any baseless scandal like that in the future!" Alex sighed, her face looking a little tired, all the people watching the live could see that what she was about to say was something painful, they already started to empathize with her when they had no clue about what she was about to say.

"This is the story of a little girl born from a beautiful woman who was a model and a businessman. That woman was really in love with her husband thus she was happy to give him a child. The family of three live a good life, but that happiness was just an illusion. You see that woman who had sacrificed her career for her husband and helped him in his business wasn't aware that her husband was actually a snake slowly taming his prey. Soon enough the man started to show his true colour when he finally achieved what he wanted. His company was now blooming so he didn't need the woman help anymore, thus he started to show his true nature. In no time, the poor woman got to know that her husband had a son before her and another child while he was married to her and that he was still cheating on her with that woman!

The husband and mistress made her life so miserable day by day that the woman didn't have any more choice than to divorce the man. But being cruel, the man also took her her most important thing, her daughter. She could only see her daughter every weekend, even if all she wanted at that time was to escape that man's grip.

What was even worse was that the innocent child started to get abused in her father's house. She had it though, but supported all the cruel things her half-sibling could do to her because she knew that every weekend she could see her mother.

One day, things get worse for that little girl as she faces a serious incident leading her to be sent to the hospital. Luckily for her, someone was there to save her from the abuse she was getting that day. But same as the girl, the hero was also hurt and ended up at the hospital.

The woman couldn't take it anymore and asked the man to give her back her daughter since he obviously didn't want to take care of her. But the man got even more shameless playing with the woman desperation to take her daughter away, asking her to give him her father's company if she really wanted her daughter back!

The woman didn't have any option left than to give away her father's company saving her little girl's life!

If you haven't understood, the little girl in this story is me, the cruel man here is Mr Porter and the company he stole from my mother using me is KANI! What do you think about this sad story? This unfortunately the story of my life! Now you get how Mr porter stole KANI and why I desperately wanted to take it back! My mother and grandfather being dead, it was the only thing I could at least do for them."

People were flabbergasted by Alex's story, they couldn't imagine that she had had this sort of life, she looked so bright and cool, no one could guess that she had such a sad story! Discovering the other face of Alan was also disturbing for those watching the video. He was known by the public as PRICELESS chairman, but he also had the image of a good and strict father. So knowing how despicable he could be was really shocking for people. So shocking that his name started to trend as the bad father of the year when Alex was still doing her live.

"Luckily, my life wasn't that dark. My mother and my grandfather were always there for me and after that incident, we travelled to start a new life. I didn't know who was the man who save me back then, I only got to know him some days ago and with that, I also got to know that I was engaged with that person as he was my mother best friend son! That engagement was only up if both of us was still single of course. And you would never guess who was that boy! He was no one else than Eliott Jensen!" Isn't it like some romantic movie story plot? Alex smiled, relaxing the mood.

"Anyways, Mr Porter came to me with an offer! He asked me to marry Eliott so his family could help him with his business money problems in exchange for my mother shares of PRICELESS. But what he didn't know was that I already knew about the engagement thing. I told him that I would accept the deal if he give me back KANI, and of course, Eliott and Ethan had been already aware of my plan. What I was aiming for was KANI and I only told Alan that I accept the deal because I knew that Eliott had already other plans for his marriage! This is why I don't understand why Mr Porter is telling the world that I'm with two guys at the same time!" Alex took a deep breath as she had finished what she had planned to say and smiled at the camera clearly feeling relieved looking at the comments that were cheering her!

She was concentrating on reading the comment and trying to answer the fan's questions when she was bombarded by a lot of comments 'Ethan', she didn't know what was happening until she saw Ethan taking a seat beside her and smiling sweetly at her! As always he was beautiful and fans were excited to see him there!!

It was a rare event for him to appear on live like that and this time it was even someone else live video. In a minute only, the number of people watching the live increased greatly! But sadly he didn't stay long, he was only there to say 'hi' before going back, but the impact of his appearance was really big and that was what Alex wanted.

The fact that Ethan appeared in that video was proof that he supported her and that's what Alex had said should be the truth.

An even more shocking thing happened that day making people believe in Alex!

"Mr Porter, I'm quite flabbergasted to read your mess, I'll be a married man soon and these kinds of words can make my wife really angry!" This tweet of Eliott had made the internet frenzy! It was just crazy to not only read a tweet of Eliott Jensen but to know that he was fiancee was just too unexpected for everyone.

In the end, everybody was talking about Alan and what he had done to his family! His name was all over the internet and even people in the business world were now aware of what he had done before. It wasn't an exaggeration to say that his reputation had taken a bad turn and people already started to distance themselves from him.

Alan was the most taken aback when watching the video. This time he couldn't use any ruse to turn the situation over, he couldn't even use the fact that she was okay to get engaged to Eliott when she was with Ethan! She had outsmarted him, letting him with no way out at all.

Looking at his screen his anger rose up feeling like his head was about to explode because of the pressure in his veins. And things got even worse when Clyde barged in yelling that there were reporters in front of the company calling for him! Feeling trapped and not knowing what to say, Alan fainted letting the duty to talk to the press to Clyde, who also started to be a little afraid of what he had done to Alex and Eliott back then got leaked to the press.

You could say that that day was really PRICELESS's downfall, everything was falling apart bit by bit after Alan post. Some of their artists started to spill some secrets to the public like how Clyde had asked some female artists to sleep with them if they wanted to be cast in a project, or how some of them aren't being paid for quite some time now. Hours by hours the revelation was so shocking that the investors in the projects where there were involved started to rush the people responsible for those projects to break any contract with PRICELESS lending to some of them being stopped unexpectedly giving PRICELESS even more indemnity to pay!

While Alan was at the hospital, the Porter family was even more in trouble not knowing what to do when everybody was asking them to pay what they own them being artists, investors or stockholders and the worst thing were the reporters camping in front of their house to get a statement about what was going on.

Clyde felt like dying to see all the world he thought would be his one day scramble like that in one day.. But when he thought he was trapped with no solution, his phone rang and the name shown on his phone was the most unexpected and fearful for him at the moment.
