85 Blanked Ou

Name:Bleeding Heart Author:RainStorm
Dawn was not sure why Raven had wanted to talk to her. But she waited patiently on him to start talking.

"…" Raven stared at her a moment, and then sighed, "I just… well, do be safe."

"Okay." She smiled, "You too, alright?"

He nodded and then stepped closer to her, "Alright. But I am more worried about you. I know you can take care of yourself but right now I am a bit worried about your mental state."

"I'll be fine." Dawn felt her heart soften as she looked at the man who was worried about her. It felt nice to be cared about. "And even if I do die it's –"

As she was talking, Raven stepped closer to her and kissed her. Shocked, Dawn just stood there, her entire mind blanking out.

When he pulled away, a mischievous smile flitted over his lips, "You taste sweet."

"…" She was still in shock as she stared at him, not quite sure how to react.

"If you are mad about that, then you'd better survive or you'll lose the chance to actually do something about it." With those words Raven turned and fled the scene.

For a moment more Dawn just stood there, her mind still not quite catching up to what had just happened. She should have felt disgusted, but she did not. In fact, part of her had even liked it.

She was mad at him though. He should not have done that. How could he? It wasn't right.

She walked after him, trying to ignore the fact that her lips could still feel the pressure of her friend's. It made her feel uncomfortable inside.

Why would he do that to her? Had he really done it just to get her so mad that she would make sure to take care of herself so she could yell at him later?

If it was anyone else Dawn would have probably punched their living daylights out. But this was someone she did care about. The most she really had the heart to do was scold him. But she could not really get physical with him, his friendship was important enough to her that she could not bear to really hurt him.

At least she doubted there had been any real feeling behind it. Raven had a girl he could remember and she was sure that woman was the love of his life. On one hand she was relieved when she thought of this.

On the other, she felt even more irked. What he had done was a slight to that girl. His kisses should belong solely to his own woman, not used to mess with his friends.

And she had wanted to not kiss anyone but Arrion in her life. And it made her feel guilty that it had not actually been unpleasant to be kissed by Raven.

Dawn shook her head, trying to clear it. This was not the time to be dwelling on it. There would be time to get on to him later.

Right now, she would focus on the mission. That was enough. Later though, she would get an apology from Raven.
