Chapter 175 - Who Is Bhairava?

Ch-174

"Is this how you talk to your elders? Was this what we taught you? Esther! You came here without even informing us! I need a reply! Right now!" he said as he flared his nose like a bull.

"From when the Queen Of Kshatra started giving explanations to you lowly beings," She said as she looked into his eyes making him shiver at her words and demeanor. Her red eyes pierced into his dark balck eyes as if she was trying to look through his soul. Charles Windsors looked into her red eyes as if he was trying to search for someone else but only found his doubts come true while he noticed that her red eyes turned a shade darker than before as he gulped visibly when he saw the disdainful and lazy look in her face.

[Is she back?] he thought.

"Pratap Kshatra…" she added as if she was confirming who she was.

"My Queen!" he bowed his head to her as he got up from his seat.

"The painting I saw and the blood fountain too," she added, dispelling his doubts.

His eyes widened in shock when he heard those words from her. Even Charles Windsors never saw them. He only heard stories about them from others but now hearing from her dispelled his doubts about those things.

"Rise," she said. Charles Windsors raised his head and stood there as he looked at her.

"Sit," she added again.

"Thank you, Your Highness," he said as he sat down.

"By the time I reach Livonia, I need Henry to be there in the palace," she said as she leaned back on her chair lazily as closed her eyes.

"As you say, Your Highness," he replied.

"So… Who is Bhairava?" she asked him to freeze him in his spot.

"My Queen, what about him? We have to go back to the place where you belong," he said as the sweat formed on his forehead.

"I only need answers, not suggestions," she said lazily as she opened her eyes and gazed at him.

"My Queen… that…" he stuttered.

"I don't have a whole day," she said calmly. Charles never thought that if his granddaughter regained her past life memories, she would be like this. He remembered the times when she was alive centuries ago. Just like now, she was unapproachable, cold, and ferocious. And talking to her was a big deal.

The buried memories resurfaced in his mind as he looked at her, lost in his thoughts.

"I know I am beautiful, no need to stare at me," she commented, sensing his lost in thought gaze.

"My Queen… actually… you hated him," he replied.

"I didn't ask whether I hated him or loved him. It's just a simple question. Who is he? I couldn't remember his face but there were a few situations where his face blurred." she replied.

Esther doesn't know why but she started hating the presence of those annoying maids who were watching her while she ate. They looked at her like scared lambs as if she was a most dangerous animal. So… she came out of the dining hall and planned to take a stroll in the garden but the annoying maid who came with her started telling the names of the plants, their scent, uses and how they came to this Palace. Does she think she needs to know all these things? Or does she think she was such a foolish person not to know even their names? So, she sent her away. When Esther was enjoying the silence and peace of the garden she heard Kris's words and got to know her grandfather was here. She remembered that he was the brother of her father, who was the king of Kshatra's when she was alive. Pratap Kshatra. She wondered how he escaped the slaughter that happened in the palace after her death. But now it's not time for her to mull over it. She needs to know the man who was tangled with her destiny and get together with him. Also, she needs to recall all her memories. She recollected a few of her memories but at the end of the day, they were only a few pieces, not the complete memory. She felt an immense connection with Reggie. So, no matter what she would not lose him. She would get him to her side even if she has to stage a war. And she felt staging a war was a good thing since it's been a while she has taken part in a war. The smell of blood, the death of evil, and their painful moans. How much her ears and eyes wished to hear and listen? She could see her love life was a tragedy from her memories. She was with a man named Bhairava for only a few years but she kept running away from him. Did she want to know the reason for it?

Why does she want to know? Does she want to make it up for that man? As for the answer to this question she doesn't know. So, she chose to keep this matter aside. But she needs to know many things, like Cyrus, Bhairava, Reggie, and other people.

She remembered Raudra Muki's words she said three days ago. "Everyone you see is not the same person they seem to be. They all are somehow related to your previous birth. Take your steps wisely. Your life is no different from the game of chess. A mistake can get you out of the game and have to wait for another rebirth," These words rang in her mind as she recalled them.

"Forget it! I will know myself. Let's leave," she said as she got up from her seat without even glancing at him.

Esther remembered during her past life, everyone respected her as if she was a goddess and she got used to it and was never respectful to others. Even though she tried to be respectful and warm, it's as if a part of her soul dissolved in her body making her act like this.. Esther could only give in and act like she was instead of trying to be awkward.
