Ch-176
"My Queen, Let's go on my plane," Charles offered.
"Inform Kris, to drive the copter from where he took it. Also, let him know that he should directly go and take his punishment," she added before walking away.
She nodded and went to their private plane. After settling down in the seat she leaned her body back on her seat.
"Charles Windsors, the thing about my condition is to keep it secret," she said.
"As you say, My queen," he replied.
"And what's wrong with my current parents?" she asked not to beat around the bush.
"They were cursed. So, they don't know anything about Atlantis," he replied.
"Am I that lenient to the point I am getting details?" she asked.
-------------
Back in the day…
"I asked for a complete detailed investigation!" her bone-chilling voice reverberated in the tent.
"General! We could only find these things," the soldier said as he fell on his knees while cupping his trembling hands together in front of her.
The elders looked at the scene but they said nothing because they knew she would twist their words the way she wanted and implement them in a tricky and harsher way. Being silent was the best way for the poor spy.
"Am I that lenient to the point I am getting details?" she yelled, making him flinch at her voice and the sight of her darkening red eyes.
----------
Charles's eyes dilated as he remembered the scene where she said the same words. He gulped at the short memory of their past.
"My queen, the people who give birth to you would have to live with the humans and should be brought up like humans. If they got to know about the things about you or your past life, they would die on the spot. So, when the priest asked who would take the offer to be your parents during their rebirth, your current parents offered their willingness. Because when you were dead they couldn't protect you. So, to clear the guilt they took this step." he answered.
"Hmm…" she responded before closing her eyes and went back to rest.
Charles Windsors doesn't know whether he should laugh or cry.
"So, Henry was their son?" she asked before he could rest.
"Yes, My Queen. Their family signed the slavery pact to protect the future queens of the kingdom. But their pact ended after your death," he replied.
"I see," she replied.
And again she went back to sleep after nearly two hours until they reached the Livonia private airport. Esther climbed off the plane and started walking ahead. All of a sudden, she stopped and turned around.
"I asked you a question the moment you came. You forgot to answer it," she said in her usual bone-chilling voice making his heart burst out of his chest.
"My Queen, because my wife's soul was responsible for guarding the secret room. When her soul was disturbed I could sense it. But I confirmed you were in the old palace on the message from her," he replied as humbly as possible.
"Hmm… One more thing. Call me Esther in the home, not my queen," she ordered.
"As you wish, My Queen," he responded.
Esther nodded and started taking her steps forward.
As she walked she noticed few people were following them. "Charles, If they want to protect me, ask them to do it openly not sneakily," she said as she continued to walk forward.
"Come out!" Charles's voice reverberated in the empty private airport.
Hearing his command everyone came out. He felt annoyed with their shabby work but realized she was Raudra Muki, the best general in training soldiers. Even he couldn't be compared with her. He smiled mockingly at his stupid act of finding the soldiers to protect her.
"Walk alongside," he said as he continued to walk behind her. A genuine smile formed on his face as he looked at her back. Finally, all the struggles they faced, and the insults they bore would be ended. They would get back to their previous glory. They would have an heir and most importantly they would have a RULER!!! He was waiting for his brother's return.
He was sure that his wife had already informed him about Esther's condition. He was waiting for his daughter's rebirth eagerly for the past two centuries. And twenty-four years ago, he was the happiest person in the universe when he heard the news about her rebirth. He wanted to come back and look after her but due to her horoscope and the priest's words he was stopped and held back.
Now, maybe he comes with the priest's order as Esther remembered a few bits about her past life.
Esther directly went back to her company while Charles went back to Benjamin's family. Lia and her father were there when they heard Esther was back in the company and went back to her company to look at the details.
-------------
In the Royal's Closet…
"Nicholas… Get the details about the small jewelers you have found," she asked the moment she entered.
Everyone in the company felt she was overbearing unlike before. Nicholas gulped and got the information she asked for.
Esther looked over the designs not caring to see the small brand names and continued to swipe the designs. "These designs are trash. Find more!" she said as she threw the file into his hands.
"We had a meeting with Vritra groups but I couldn't make it due to the emergency work. Call them and reschedule it!" she said.
For which Nicholas nodded his head.
"Also, Ask Michelle to get the file into my cabin," Esther asked.
Nicholas ran away to get Michelle to calm her nerves down. Esther, who was looking after the designs that the designers made a few days ago again, raised her head when she felt the familiar presence.
Wait! Wasn't she, her only maid in her previous life who cared about me despite how scary I looked!? But she was killed in front of her but she could do nothing to protect her. Was she given a second chance to treasure her?
