13 C13: Years of Time Skip |Part 8|

• (New World) {Year: 17} •

"Portgas D. Ace should be leaving Foosha Village this year..." A handsome young man with bright green eyes said on his silver dinghy. He wore a white kimono, that had light blue snowflakes all over it, revealing his a bit of his sculpted upper top of his chest. On his right side of hip, he wore a durable katana he got from the system, attached to a white belt. He was preparing to go to Wano Country, he thought it'd be nice to stay in there for a while.

'System, is there a eye mask that would cover my eyes?' He asked, his bright green eyes was a dead give away to who he was. If he wanted to be left alone from the Beasts Pirates, he'd have to hide his eyes. After all, didn't he piss off one of the All Star?

[Yes. Obtaining it for you...]

*Ding*

[Customizable Eye Mask:

Hide away your eyes from all those eye fetish perverts! Can be customized, just use a thought to do so. Also, it only hides your eyes, not your whole face.]

'...What the f*ck is with 'eye fetish perverts'?!' He mentally shouted at his system. 'Whatever, let's check it out.'

He brought out the eye mask, and looked at it. It was just a white cloth with light blue snowflakes on it. 'No, wait, I can customize it.'

With a thought, he saw the white cloth morph into a cute eye mask for kids. It had flat white cat ears on top, with light blue color inside them. There was two smiling eyes closed on it.

"Hey!" Ryu shouted out loud, "isn't this for kids?! And it changed differently from what I wanted!"

[Oh, whoops. Meant to say 'Changeable Eye Mask' that changes to two different looks, cutesy one and a cloth.]

"F*ck you!" He flamed his system. Deciding to use the white cloth with light blue snowflakes over on it, he tied it on his head. It fit his light blue snowflakes kimono, anyways. "With this, they won't see my eyes. I'll pass as a blind person."

Even if they would view him as a blind person, he wasn't. He still could see through the cloth, without his Observation Haki.

"Right, then." He then led his dinghy, "Time to go for Wano Country!"

• (Wano Country, in New World) {Year: 17.2} •

"Haha!" The 'blind' swordsman laughed as he forcefully rode the giant koi he found.

The unfortunate koi was crying out of misery, though. 'Why did the blind bastard choose me? You're the reason why I feel like there's a f*cking sword hanging on my neck!'

"Up, up, little fish!" He commanded the giant koi. 'Pfft! What little fish! It's a f*cking giant one, hehe~!'

If the giant koi had known that he was getting into commanding it, the koi would definitely wail, begging him to show mercy. It had its pride to other fishes!

...

A bit after the giant koi happily sent the bastard away from him...

"Whew~," he heaved a breath. He got too into enjoying his personality he set for the Wano Country. His personality was supposed to be a blind man who had a pranking sadism personality. A man who would enjoy pranking people because he liked watching them cry in indignant. He probably would bring that along when he left the Wano Country...

"Anyways, it looks like I arrived in the Kuri." He looked around. It didn't look like a wasteland because they haven't started building the weapon factories. Kuri looked beautiful he noted. It was a pity that it'd become a wasteland because of the Beasts Pirates. Muttering, he tried to decide, "Should I just make them scram the f*ck away from the country...?"

"Hey!" A feminine voice was heard shouting. Turning to look at the voice's direction, Ryu saw a beautiful woman in a pink kimono. She looked like she was in early 20s. "Who are you? I saw you riding that giant koi as if it was nothing but fun! You must be strong."

He was surprised that the beautiful woman didn't feel anything from his Sword Aura. Normally, they'd at least feel like something fearful inside him. Getting into his set personality, he responded as he rubbed his chin. "Yeah, that little fish was fun to ride. Though, it could've been more quicker..."

Twitching her lips, she nearly laughed. 'What little fish? It was a giant prideful koi! It'd probably die of depression if it heard him.'

"W-well, where did you come from and who are you?" She asked, trying to stop the laugher inside her. It'd be rude manners to laugh at the koi, though it was gone already.

"Ah, I'm a wandering swordsman. My name's..." He realized now that he didn't decide a name... Thinking of a name in an instant, he continued. "Ichigo."

'Gonna borrow your name, Ichigo from Blea*h.' He thought.

"Oh, Ichigo!" She repeated. "My name's Rin."

"I see." He simply said. Forgetting he had his eyes covered.

"Huh? Do you really?" She jokingly said, pointing out that he was wearing a cloth over his eyes.

"..." Suddenly, Rin felt like the temperature around her went ice cold. Shivering, she saw that 'Ichigo' turned and looked directly at her head, as if he had eyes and looked at hers! Probably because he indeed did. Menacingly with a smile that didn't look like a happy one, he said, "Wh~at?"

"I-I d-didn't m-mean to-"

"Pfft! Hahaha!" He interrupted her, laughing. "What? You got scared?"

Realizing he had played around with her like the giant koi, she beautifully pouted. "Hmph! I'm leaving you alone!"

She ran off to near forest, looking back once a while to see if he would chase her and apologize. She realized he wasn't even there anymore. She angrily stomped her feet, 'Am I not beautiful?! Why didn't he follow me to apologize!'

"Idiot~!" She shouted, not knowing 'Ichigo' was above her on a tree's branch. 'Ichigo' had intended to follow her, because seeing her mannerism, he knew she was a descendant or disciple of someone important. But she had suddenly shouted, confusing him until he realized what she had expected.

But that only confused him even more, why did she expect me to do that?

[...] The system wanted to facepalm, its host had completely forgotten that the cloth only covered his eyes, but not his devilishly handsome features. Not like he knew he had devilishly handsome features, thinking it was at least above average...

...

Later that day, with Rin...

'Hmph hmph!' Rin hmph'ed for the fourth time ever since Ichigo left her alone. She was in her family's mansion, sitting in her room. She was the eldest young miss of a high-class family. But there was other families that had been trying to pressuring her family into supporting Kumozumi Orochi. Her family refused because he collaborated with Kaizo to take over Wano Country, and betraying Kozuki Oden.

Rin also herself didn't want to support him either, it was also because Orochi wanted her to be a mistress of his. She hadn't fell in love with anyone. She felt like the men around her were boring... until she saw him, Ichigo.

She saw him enjoying playing around the giant koi, like a prankster. She wanted to be like him, free and fun. When Rin approached him, she noticed that he was handsome, even with a cloth covering his eyes, causing her to assume he was a blind man. Wearing a fitting kimono to the cloth covering his eyes, he looked like he had a lean muscular body.

She felt her heart beat go faster when he smiled roguishly, he looked so free. While she was chained, restrained by her mannerisms she learned as child. As she talked to him, it was like she was freed, like she was being true to herself.

'Is this love?' Rin thought, going red in face like she would drip blood out. She cupped her face with her hands and rolled on her bed causing the maid standing guard outside to think, 'Ah, is she bored today too?'

Back to Ichigo (Ryu)...

"Hmm, seems like Rin is from a high-class family." Ichigo noted. "Well, time to find a place to settle around here."

Walking into the Okobore Town, where Rin went to, he saw there were a lot more citizens since Kuri hadn't become a wasteland. There was a lot of residents from other poor towns in Kuri gathered in this town. It was bustling because of Rin's family.

The family had provided money to help support the town they escaped to, to avoid the pressuring. They would've been surrounded and wiped them out if they had stayed in Bakura Town any longer. Ichigo understood why he didn't know of her family or her, because they were wiped out eventually.

He decided right there and then. He'd definitely make sure Wano Country changes. He couldn't just watch them be wiped out when he was going to stay in Wano Country, could he? Ichigo was going to help in his way.

Looking for a place to rent to stay in, he asked a passing-by person, who happened to be a woman. "Excuse me, do you know where I can rent a place to sleep in, like an inn?"

The passerby stared at him for awhile. Then he waved his hand in front of her face, snapping her out of daze. She blushed when she realized she had stared at him. "A-ah, yes. There's an inn over there, which happens to be where I work at."

"Oh, then I guess we're going the same way then." He stated as he started to walk beside her. "Right, I'd like some information on what's happening around the Wano Country, do you mind?"

"No, I don't mind." She replied quickly. Looking at his handsome face, even though his eyes were covered, she didn't mind it. 'As long I get to stare at you longer.'

'Woman, you're making me think there's something on my face aside from the eye mask!' Ichigo thought.

• (An inn in Okotobe Town, in Wano Country) {Year: 17.3} •

"It's time for me to leave, innkeeper." Ichigo told the innkeeper. He had stayed in the inn, gathering information as much as possible. He got a lot of them from the residents around.

"Ah? That's too bad. I thought you'd start living in Okotobe." The innkeeper told. He then added, "come visit again when you're around, alright!"

"See you, Ichigo!" The woman who led him to the inn back then, shouted.

Walking to the exit, he waved his hand to him. "Yeah."

...

In Rin's room...

"Young miss!" The maid shouted as she barged in. "The man you told us to watch, he left the inn, it looks like he's leaving the town!"

"Oh, then let's go meet him again!" Rin decided. Thinking, she hmph'ed. 'Hmph, try and run away from this young miss!'

The maid, 'I'm glad she found someone!'

...

Later that day...

"Ichigo!" Rin shouted from behind, with the maid chasing her.

"..." Turning around, Ichigo 'looked' at her. "Yeah?"

"Hmph! You thought you would leave here without apologizing to me!" She boldly said as she blocked him.

'Woman, I nearly forgot about you.' He mentally retorted.

"I'm still leaving." He said as he turned and walked away.

"...Hey! Don't leave without apologizing!" Rin ran to him and nearly fell. As she almost fell down, Ichigo stopped and appeared before holding her up. She blushed at the almost skin contact, 'So close!'

"Be careful, otherwise you'll dirty yourself." He warned. Letting her go, he saw that she had a disappointed face for a second before it changed. "Anyways, it's not like you won't meet me again in future."

"Huh?" Rin looked up only to see him already far away. She then blushingly yelled, "What do you mean we'll meet again in future?! Who wants to meet you again!"

Back to Ichigo (Ryu)...

"Well, time to start my plan of overthrowing the shogun and corrupted officials." Ichigo said as he coldly smirked. "This is going to be fun."

He then increased force in his feet, swiftly speeding up. He was going straight to the Bakura Town, where its residents were mostly of officials and the Beasts Pirates. From the information he had, Jack the All Star were out in the sea somewhere, doing something. So this was the best time to 'clean' the Kuri.

...

In Bakura Town...

*BOOM*

A young handsome man with a cloth covering his eyes barged into the town, scaring people suddenly. He unleashed his Sword Aura by 25%, making people around him feel like the Death was looking at them.

"Hehe~!" Ichigo scarily laughed. Then with a shout that sounded out in whole Bakura Town, without any going out of it, he yelled "Get your asses here, dirty pet bastards!"

*CHHHHH*

Many visible sword blades appeared, making a barrier of swords appear on the Bakura Town, no one could get in or out now. The corrupt officials and Beasts Pirates came out looking fearful, they never knew of anyone like this in Wano Country or even the whole world!

One bold official stupidly yelled at him angrily, "Who are you?!"

"Who am I?" Ichigo chuckled eerily. "I'm your Death!"

*PSSH*

A large cut was made on that official's body. The others didn't follow his lead and shut up, while looking at him fearfully. "I'm going to kill the corrupt officials who has r*ped, murdered, or kidnapped illegally! But I'll let few live to spread the word."

They all paled instantly, as they all had at least done one of those deed, the officials and the pirates. But when they heard only few would live to spread the word, they instantly begged to be chose, swearing they'd spread word.

"Hmm, who should I choose to live...?" He wondered out loud. "Oh! Wait! Weren't there innocents around here? They can spread them!"

Turning to look at the innocents, he told them in a booming voice. "I, Ichigo, declare a war on all of the corrupt officials, the current Shogun, and the Beasts Pirates residing on Wano Country!"

'F*ck! We're dead!' The dirty officials and Beasts Pirates thought at the same time.

Taking out his durable katana, he swung them in one slice. Then he put it back and walked away. The heads of those people dropped as a line was made on their necks.

*Thud*

*Chhh*

The barrier of swords disappeared as did Ichigo.

...

After that day...

"Hey, did you hear of the word that a strong swordsman declared a war in Bakura Town?" A man asked his company at the table.

Ironically, it was Ichigo. He had just casually sat at a random one and then this man joined him, he didn't mind that though. Both of them hit it off and started chatting. "Yeah, I heard that a lone blind man killed off the corrupt officials and Beasts Pirates."

"Shh, let's talk quietly," the man said in a very low voice, luckily Ichigo had better senses that exceed minks'. "Yeah, it looks like we got a new hero, huh?"

"Pfft!" Ichigo sputtered his rice out. "Y-yeah, a hero..."

'I was thinking of more like vigilante!' He mentally said.

"Well, he's not really a hero, but us citizens are thinking of him as one. We never liked the way those bastards did. Heck, they're saying that those able-bodies citizens would soon be placed in a factory. Forced to work, in exchange for protection..."

"Ah.. Is that so.." Ichigo didn't know that they were already thinking of making the weapon factories already. It was time for him to speed up the plan. "Well, I'm going, here's the money for your food and mine."

"Thanks! Even though you're blind, you're a good man!" The man shouted. But as he shouted that, he paled instantly. A blind man with a katana at his right side! 'Holy f*ck did I just eat with him?! No wonder he didn't bother asking for my name, he didn't want to tell his!

• (Somewhere in Kuri, at Wano Country) {Year: 17.4} •

"Finally done!" He said as he burned away the bodies he just killed. "Now Kuri's ridded of corrupt officials and the Beasts Pirates."

*Ding*

[Conquered a land for yourself, now establishing the land, Kuri, as your land...]

"Huh? What?"

[Land 'Kuri' established as your own! Due to your rank, 'Administrator', now setting up defenses, border defenses, and sea defenses!]

As the system told its host, there was a huge rumbling on Kuri. Defenses were erected on the borders, the seas, and each villages, towns, and cities now owned a minimal defense.

[Requesting 'Administrator' Ryu for confirmation, produce offense weaponries?]

"...Uh, decline." In daze, he replied. He had just watched a defense be erected before him, he was near the border between Kuri and Kibi. Snapping out of it, he yelled at his system. "What the f*ck was that?!"

[An territorial conquest that was added in the system, me. It's an another feature you discovered! Congratulations, Ryu, or should I say, Ichigo.] The system emotionlessly replied.

"Ugh, should I even be anymore surprised by now." He mentally scolded himself, the system had kept surprising him, making him expect them. But this territorial conquest feature surprised him for sure, it even erected defenses! "Uh, anyways, onwards to the next land for conquest!"

[Wow, 10/10 points on your adaptability.] It emotionlessly embarrassed its host.

"Hmph!" He hmph'ed.

...

The residents in Kuri...

"What are those things?!", "They don't look harmful...", "Are those defenses?", "How did they suddenly appear there...?"

Commotions were heard all over Kuri. The defenses had suddenly appeared after a huge rumble. The defenses didn't look harmful, only just like a wall shielding them.

"Is it possible that it's related to that lone blind swordsman, Ichigo?" A citizen suddenly asked. It was heard by every citizens despite the commotions.

They all were suspicious about that, but nevertheless, as long the defenses didn't harm us or shoo us away, they didn't care.

"Come to think of it, the air feels like it's more better..." A woman with sensitive skin said to the others. They began to agree as they tested it out. It seemed that the defenses had a filtering shield, a mini Ryu-Dome covering Kuri.

"Haha! If it was Ichigo, I wouldn't mind him overthrowing the current Shogun!" A man boldly declared loudly.

The others quickly looked at him as if he was a dead man, but later they realized that there weren't a lot of dirty officials or any sightings of the Beasts Pirates.

"You're right! I wouldn't mind either!" Another person declared, prompting a chain of agreements and made a group.

...

Rin...

"Ichigo..." Rin thoughtfully said. "Did you do this...?"

The maid standing beside her looked proud. "The young miss has a good eye for finding a future husband candidate!"

Rin hearing that blushed that blood looked like it would drip out. "S-shut up! Who's marrying that bastard!"

...

In Flower Capital...

Inside a castle, a rather large man with a big head and stocky build stood silently. He appears to be balding, with his dark hair being mostly seen on the sides and back of his head, and he has a long topknot in the back, as well as a thin mustache that sticks upward. His two upper canine teeth are longer than his other teeth. He wears a kimono with a fan-shaped pattern on it, as well as a crown on his head. He was Kurozumi Orochi, the current Shogun!

"So that lone blind swordsman managed to take over Kuri and already erected defenses?" Orochi asked a ninja nearby.

"Yes!" The ninja confirmed, and continue to report. "It looked like the defenses suddenly appeared out of the ground, and looks harmless. But when we tried to get in, a barrier blocked us out. It seems to be a barrier made out of the defenses as the cornerstones!"

"I see." Orochi nodded in acknowledgment. He then thought for awhile. Finally deciding, "Inform Kaido I want his assistance. His Beasts Pirates should've had already reported about him, so he probably will agree."

"Y-yes..." The ninja obeyed hesitantly, it was Kaido they were talking about!

...

With Kaido...

"So this Ichigo appeared out of nowhere and came in saving Kuri?" The Yonko Kaido said questioningly. "And he appears to have some sort of unknown power, making defenses appear out of the ground suddenly, Kuri-wide?"

"Y-yes." The messenger said.

"Hmm..." Kaido appeared to be looking thoughtful. But he wasn't. "Fools! He's Ryu, the Solitary Pirate! Why do you think he covered his eyes?! It's a huge give away!"

He instantly squashed the messenger, as his three All Stars came in looking like they just recently realized. He had made a barrier of swords in Bakua Town, it reminded them of the Solitary Pirate's sword-like aura.

"Boss, we couldn't break into the barrier he made." All Star, King, who looked like he was still healing. It was him who had tried to kill the Solitary Pirate when he got enraged at his response.

All Star, Queen, 'helpfully' added, "And this guy is probably the reason why 'he' came to Wano Country."

Though that wasn't why, Kaido was looking from his point of view so he also assumed that too. "Jack, you will assist King in dealing with his business with the Solitary Pirate."

"Yes." All Star, Jack, obeyed.
