Chapter 158 - King And Queen Of The Underworld

The men that stood around looked eager to take on the challenge of the small group in front of them. Many wanted a chance at Ivy but their boss put a stop to their thoughts when he suddenly announced, "Leave the woman she is mine!"

The man stood from behind his desk and fixed his tie, he came around from behind his desk and licked his lips as he looked Ivy up and down, he was just as keen to get a hold of the icy beauty that stood in front of him. "You will not leave here without me having a taste." He announced again, his eyes fixed on Ivy as he took a step forward.

The men walked forward in formation keen for a fight.

Thomas stood square in front of Ivy, he refused to let anyone look hungrily at Ivy let alone let them touch her. Yes, his one job was to protect her, but she was his friend and he didn't like this man one bit. He even looked forward to getting his hands on him.

Kai stood firm at Ivy's side he hadn't gotten any better at fighting and was a bit flustered by the situation but as he glanced at Ivy by his side he found an inner strength and need to protect that he didn't know he had inside of him.

Teo stepped forward and put one hand on Ivy's back reassuring her that he had her back and that he was there.

Whereas Ivy stood now staring at Thomas's broad back and felt Teo's large hand at her back. She wanted to test the skills that she had learnt from him but she saw that she was surrounded by men ready to fight for her. Along with the disappointment at not being allowed to fight, she smiled at the love she felt from her two new friends Thomas and Teo.

Both sides were eager to fight it out when suddenly there was a rumbling of movement and loud crashes could be heard from the club above them. 

Both sides stopped for a moment and glanced around at one another. They realised neither knew what was happening so they turned to the door instead of one another.

As Teo was standing behind Ivy he turned so he was back to back with her. He braced himself and stared at the door as the noises came closer to the private room they were in.

They each had looked at each other to see if they knew what or who was coming, but neither group had any idea.

The two heavy doors flew open with a loud bang and there was a huge mix of emotions from both sides as they saw who walked through the doors.

"Noah Adler… To what… to what do I owe the pleasure." The man fixed his suit and tried to compose himself; he was instantly nervous. He ran a small illegal business and he knew he was considered a very small fish in comparison to Noah Adler who basically ruled both legal and illegal businesses.

He had no idea what had brought the infamous businessman to his small club but he hoped it was to elevate his standing. He would do anything this man asked of him for even a small portion of what Noah had.

He rubbed his hands together in greed, this night had two very pleasant events land in his lap. He hoped the icy beauty would stick around. He wasn't keen to share her with his men but he had no problem letting Noah have her first as long as he could get a go afterwards.

After Aiden had kicked the double doors open Noah then walked through with his men behind him and Aiden his loyal secretary at his side. He scanned the room and his eyes stopped when they met Ivy's. She was smiling his favourite smile, she was strong, fierce and feisty and he loved it. 

He kept his pace as he then stood in front of her, he smirked as he looked into her emerald eyes, reaching his hand up to her face she rubbed her lip and said "Trouble."

The man's mouth then dropped and he asked "You… you both know each other?" He was instantly nervous. Had he said or done anything he shouldn't have done, he thought for a minute and then he was happy with himself as he hadn't done anything to Ivy. Noah showing up because of the icy beauty was his kismet. 

"You could say that." Ivy laughed as she answered the clan leader. Noah had not broken eye contact with her, she felt that she was about to be punished but she smiled as she thought that she might enjoy that punishment. 

Seeing her mischievous look in her eyes he wanted to pick her up and take her home straight away to punish her. He only looked away because he had to deal with the insignificant fly in the room first before he could take her home and punish her thoroughly for putting herself in danger once again.

Ivy was used to the icy cold aura that rolled off her lover but right now she felt a chill that rushed up her spine. It was the excitement at the knowledge of what was to come later and also because she was about to see first hand him dealing with the low life in front of her. 

She could sense he was furious, she guessed it was not because he had to cut his business trip short but because of where she was and the fact that she was here because of another man.

Noah had not spoken to the leader of the blood clan yet and he held his hands nervously waiting for the dangerous man in front of him to say something, anything. His unease only grew when he saw how close he stood next to the icy beauty. They looked like the king and queen to the underworld and for all, he knew they were.. At this moment his heart sped up he was suddenly terrified.
