Ivy left the villa and walked out towards the car where Thomas and Teo waited for her. She felt the cold air surround her and it whipped her hair up in the air and refreshed her body. Thinking again her rational mind was in chaos. She should fight her irrational mind and ignore the whispers in her head but she felt overwhelming confusion and anger right now.
She got in the car and saw that Teo had turned to her and asked a question, she guessed he needed the address for the next property. She sighed and looked out of the window, "The apartment, we are done for the day." She then stared out of the window as she watched the wind play with the branches much like those photos played with her mind.
Thomas was quick he had picked up on Ivys change in temperament and how she didn't say 'home' or even Noahs name earlier. He looked up and studied Tony as he stood watching them leave. Tony looked concerned but not guilty so what had happened Thomas thought.
Teo lived with his mum long enough to guess when a woman's mood had shifted. He had learnt from his mum in these situations to listen but not talk too much or his rambling would only make it worse. He started the car and drove ivy home all along the way hoping she was okay, he was loyal to her and her only.
Thomas watched as Ivy started out of the window with her brows furrowed and every noe and then she would sigh. Taking no chances he texted Aiden to give him and Noah a heads up of what was happening.
They arrived at the underground car park and Ivy snapped out of her thoughts when Teo's shadow covered her vision, he stood at her door and opened it for her. Ivy got out and grabbed her handbag. She was losing her mind over such a small and misleading photo. But who wouldnt, would Noah be calm if he saw those types of photos with her in it, she doubted it.
She got in the lift with her two friends and guards. They walked her back to the apartment and she walked straight in without speaking. She didn't know what was in her head at this moment.
Seeing the doir close Teo and Thomas looked at each other, only one thought in their heads 'oh f*ck'.
Thomas took out his phone and texted Aiden again. Both he and Teo stood outside the apartment door waiting for either Ivy or Noah.
Inside Ivy walked in and looked around, her touches that were everywhere. It was their home now. She knew Noah hadn't done anything with Governor Anna but he also allowed her to get close enough that pictures could be taken and be misleading. Unless it was Pierce or Jamie Noah didn't allow any man within a meter of her. But he had allowed Governor Anna close, why?
She went to their shared bedroom and packed up an overnight bag. If nothing she needed to teach him a lesson not to allow those circumstances to happen in the future. Yes, she was jealous and possessive but so was he. What he wouldnt tolerate why should she?
Finished with her packing she lifted her bag and set it by the door before sitting on the large plush sofa and waiting for Noah to come home. She wanted to be clear about what she would tolerate in their relationship.
Noah had been in a long three hour shareholders meeting and when he exited his lift to return to his office he saw Aiden rush out to him.
Aiden walked with Noah until they entered his office and they closed the door behind them, "Sir Thomas texted me that something had happened today when Ivy was out with Tony. I looked into it and noticed that there have been some misleading photos of you and Governor Anna, Ivy may have seen these. We checked her phone and she hasn't but as she was with Tony and Teo I checked their records and Tonys showed that he had accessed the tabloid reports and saved them so he must have shown Ivy. Also, she hasn't spoken and seems to be very withdrawn."
Finished his report Aiden watched as fury could be seen in Noah's eyes.
Noah couldn't believe Governor Anna's tricks. He will be dammed if he lets her use him this way and hurt Ivy. He internally cursed.
"Let's go." Noah strode out of his office and back into the lift with Aiden following behind.
Aiden kept up Noah's footsteps were long and powerful showing just how furious he was.
Aiden drove Noah back to his apartment and they then made their way up to Noah's apartment. With a bing, the elevator door opened and Noah saw Thomas and Teo standing outside his door.
Noah stopped and turned to his faithful Secretary and friend, "Check out everything, I want a full report."
Aiden nodded in response, "Yes sir."
Noah walked into his apartment and kept on his shoes and jacket as he walked in. He saw a small bag by the door as he had walked in this made him irritated and anxious.
Noah looked up and saw Ivy sitting on the sofa, he remembered the last time this happened. His Ivy ran and got hurt he barely got her back. She looked just as angry as he felt. He clenched his fists. She couldn't leave him.
"Ivy the photographs are taken at a misleading angle you can't believe them," Noah announced first. But he saw the fire in her eyes.
Ivy walked towards the door, "I know that, but you let her get that close. Would you like to see those photos if our situation was reversed?" Ivy questioned, seeing his shock she walked towards the door.
Noah gripped her arm, "No, don't go."
"I'll stay downstairs with Thomas to let myself cool down Im not leaving. I wouldnt let another woman come between us. But you shouldn't let someone come so close to you." Ivy felt Noah's grip released and she walked out the door.
