367 A Plan Part-1

Although Lee Xuiye was shocked as well as sad that her friend had gone, she was happy for him as she knew what kind of life he was living here.

In her happiness, Lee Xuiye didn't notice her husband's foul face. Her hands didn't seem to tire while reading another man's letter but to eat her breakfast, her hands weren't working.

Mo Lingtan immediately snatched the letter out of her hand to read as to what heartfelt content Lu Yichen had specially written for Lee Xuiye.

Sure enough, Mo Lingtan didn't like the content of the letter. He clenched it into a ball and threw it into the dustbin without a second thought.

"Ha! Wishful thinking!" Mo Lingtan disdainfully scoffed.

"You...That was my let-" Before Lee Xuiye could protest his action, Mo Lingtan shut her mouth putting the spoon into it.

"Eat!"

Lee Xuiye removed the spoon from her mouth "You are just jealous that I still have handsome men to look after me." 

"So what? Have you ever seen someone get out of Lion's den? There is no chance for you to run away from me! Put it in your mind. Eat by yourself now!"

"No! My hands are tired because of you. Feed me now!"

"Your hands didn't seem tired while reading that letter."

"Fine! Don't feed me! I won't eat. Let me die because of hunger." Lee Xuiye harrumphed and didn't bother to eat at which Mo Lingtan rolled his eyes witnessing her childishness. 

Who had ever died because of skipping breakfast?

Still, he fed her and she looked at him triumphantly.

Afterward, Mo Lingtan tucked her in the bed so that she could catch up with her sleep and take proper rest before the frenzy for their photoshoot and wedding would begin.

Mo Lingtan came to Shaan Industries to get the important work done so that he could enjoy his vacation with his wife without any stress.

The first thing he did after coming to the office was to read Lu Yichen's letter.

'Thanks for your advice. I am leaving. Hopefully, Li Yan agrees with me! Take care of my family.'

"Master, these are documents that need your signature." Qi Zhu came inside his office and put the documents in front of Mo Lingtan.

"Hmm… How is the situation with Lu Yichen and Li Yan?"

"Master Lu and Master Li went to the States along with Ms. Su." Qi Zhu reported to which Mo Lingtan nodded in the satisfaction that Li Yan also left.

"And what about their families? Is there any news from them?" Mo Lingtan asked.

"No! They still don't know about it!"

"Okay, keep an eye on Lin Family, especially Lin Shashi. Don't her let know about Yan's location. I don't want her to disturb Li Yan and Su Wan's lives. Do whatever needs to be done."

"Okay, Master!"

Lu Yichen had told Mo Lingtan about what had happened between Li Yan and Su Wan that night in the hotel and with Su Wan's pregnancy news now. Mo Lingtan knew that to save Li Yan and Su Wan's child, they had to leave this country otherwise knowing Lin Shashi's craziness and the Li Family's blindness towards Lin Shashi's misconduct, Mo Lingtan knew that Li Yan and Su Wan's child would end up dying one or another day.

Besides, Li Yuchen's continuous defeat in court cases wasn't concealed from Mo Lingtan. Mo Lingtan had already sent an application letter to the wildlife channel on behalf of Lu Yichen and luckily during that period, they had responded back. Therefore, Mo Lingtan didn't delay setting up a meeting with Lu Yichen to tell him the great news.

"What? How could you send the application without notifying me? You should have asked me first." Li Yuchen angrily said instead of being happy that his friend had helped him.

To which Mo Lingtan rolled his eyes "Stop overreacting! You should know that you can't go on with the number of cases you have been losing. It is better for you to live your life like the way you want."

"Oh really? Then what about my family? Have you ever thought about how my grandma would take this news? She is ill and the doctors have said that she doesn't have many years--"

"She is lying to you!" Mo Lingtan interrupted him.

"What?" The sudden unexpected disclosure startled him.

"Why don't you have a look at these reports? Or you can ask the doctor who has lied to you under your grandma's orders." Mo Lingtan calmly responded and pulled out Lu Yichen's grandmother's real diagnosis reports and passed it to Lu Yichen. He then hinted to a bodyguard who pushed the man in front of Lu Yichen.

Lu Yichen didn't believe Mo Lingtan so he grabbed the reports and read. It was shocking to him that Mo Lingtan was telling the truth.

But how could this be possible?

The report said that his grandma was completely alright.

Could it be that Mo Lingtan was showing him a fake report?

Yes! That must be the case.

Otherwise, how could his grandma lie to him?

A man fell on his legs.

"Dr. Jin?" Lu Yichen immediately recognized his grandmother's doctor despite that there were many bruises on his face.

A bitter smile formed upon Lu Yichen's face "How could she? I… I thought she understood my dreams but…." Lu Yichen leaned back on his chair helplessly.

"She loves you, that is why she wants you to stay here."

"Even if I am not happy?" Lu Yichen asked agitatedly.

"It is nothing new that you have already heard it and seen it." Mo Lingtan shrugged his shoulders and didn't feel sympathetic towards Lu Yichen as nowadays many parents were selfish and decided things for their children as they deemed fit. 

Mo Lingtan's direct words did nothing except increase Lu Yichen's disappointment towards his grandma.

Mo Lingtan continued further "You don't want to live like this, do you? I advise you to take this and go. I will take care of your family." He passed the appointment letter of Wildlife Channel.

"Why are you helping me? Is it because you consider me as your competition and you want to eliminate me before your wedding?" Lu Yichen couldn't believe that Mo Lingtan, the cunning fox, would help him out of kindness.

"Stop daydreaming!" Mo Lingtan scoffed while he glazed at Lu Yichen disdainfully as if he was looking down on him.

Competition?

He must be kidding!

"Alright, I will go!" Lu Yichen took the letter and stared at it with deep thoughts running in his mind. Since his grandma had become selfish because of her own happiness, he would do also be selfish because of his own happiness. He only came back to his senses when he heard Mo Lingtan.

"Take Yan with you."

"What? Yan? Why?" Lu Yichen was confused about how Li Yan came in between?

He knew that Li Yan wasn't living a good life, especially after that night but did he have to run away like him?

Perhaps Yes!

Hearing his stupid question, Mo Lingtan rolled his eyes "What do you mean why? Do you want him to live with Lin Shashi for the rest of his life? Besides, Su Wan is pregnant."

"What? How do you know that?" Lu Yichen squealed in shock.

"Qi Zhu had heard about it somewhere. Take Yan with you." Mo Lingtan didn't give him much detail.

"But then what about Su Wan?" Lu Yichen promptly asked. If Su Wan was pregnant then Li Yan had to be with her.

"I will handle her matter!" Mo Lingtan said to which Lu Yichen nodded as he knew of Mo Lingtan's efficiency.
