373 Photoshoot Part-1

After that, Mo Lingtan and Li Yan went back home after completing the work. Since Lee Xuiye and Su Wan went shopping after a small walk in the parking lot. Both the men had thought to prepare a delicious lunch for their wives.

When Lee Xuiye and Su Wan were back, a spontaneous lunch was already served on the dining table. Therefore, both the ladies didn't delay and finished more than half of the lunch swiftly. 

Everyone could understand that Su Wan was pregnant so she had to eat for two people but what about Lee Xuiye?

Since when did she start to eat so much?

However, everyone overlooked this matter thinking that her wedding was near and her appetite had increased because of happiness.

Afterward, Mo Lingtan and Lee Xuiye went to do their wedding photoshoot which would be done that night and the next morning. Li Yan also went back to his office since his company was a new start-up. There were many things that he needed to pay attention to personally.

Su Wan also went to her office to submit her resignation.

After spending half a day with Lee Xuiye, Su Wan thought to consider Lee Xuiye's advice and give herself a chance to make her marriage a happy and blissful one.

"Why aren't you asleep yet?" Li Yan came back late at night and found that Su Wan was still waiting for him.

"I thought to wait for you. Why? Are you not happy that I waited for you?" Su Wan bit her lower lip in nervousness. 

She had decided to give it a chance but she didn't know how Li Yan would take it.

After all, he had already rejected her feelings once and she didn't know how she would be able to take it if Li Yan would reject her once again.

Therefore, as a precaution, she wanted to know Li Yan's opinion first. 

Li Yan's back was facing Su Wan as he was taking out his clothes from his wardrobe, so he didn't see her nervousness. 

Whereas, she also didn't see his smile. He had heard her conversation with Lee Xuiye but he didn't know whether she would take Lee Xuiye's advice or not.

However, noticing that she had thought to give a chance to their marriage, Li Yan had also decided to give his wife all the happiness and love which she deserved.

"Why would I be unhappy if my wife waits for me?" Li Yan asked instead, a little smile playing upon his lips.

Although Li Yan didn't answer her question, his question brought a little bit of happiness to her.

"I...I resigned from my job today." Su Wan informed him and continued after a pause "But...I can't sit idle at home, so…"

Su Wan thought that Li Yan would understand her but he pretended to be confused "So?"

Su Wan let out a frustrating sigh and said "So...Can I join your company?"

Li Yan didn't reply to her instantly and stared at her for a moment. His stare put so much pressure on her that she averted her gaze away from his eyes.

She should have waited to see Li Yan's reaction first.

'Stupid! Idiot! Who told you to resign from your job? What if Li Yan doesn't want you in his company? It was such a well-paid job, now you don't know whether you would get a well-paid job again or not. Such a dumb I am!' Su Wan scolded herself in her mind.

"Let it be I--" 

"It's our company." Li Yan suddenly interrupted her.

"Huh?" Su Wan gave him a questioning look.

"It's not just my company; it's our company. And since when do you need to ask to join your company, huh?" Although Li Yan said in an angry tone, his eyes were clearly smiling.

Su Wan was at a loss of words. She had never expected that this would be Li Yan's reply. She just wanted to work to earn some money but Li Yan had made her a lady boss of his...no...their company.

"O...Okay." Su Wan replied quickly and turned back to walk away as her eyes teared up again because of conflicting emotions.

Su Wan was always a cry baby and now with her pregnancy, her eyes easily teared up every now and then. So she didn't want Li Yan to see her ugly side.

However, Li Yan didn't let her go and held her wrist and asked "Wan, can...can I sleep in this room...on the same bed...with you?"

Since Su Wan was taking steps, Li Yan also wanted to take a step to make their marriage happy.

However, Su Wan trembled to hear his question as she didn't forget that night and the fear of it.

What should she do now?

Should she reject him but wouldn't it be rude? After all, he was her husband now Now, she was in a dilemma.

After a lot of hesitation, Su Wan replied in a low voice "Okay."

Then Li Yan let go of her wrist but he didn't notice the look of fear on Su Wan's face. Nevertheless, he didn't need to look at it because he knew she was still scared of him and he had promised himself that he would shower her with a lot of love that she would forget that he had ever hurt her.

That night, Li Yan slept on the same bed with Li Yan. Although there was an arm-length distance in between them, Li Yan was sure that this distance would vanish in a few days.

After helping out Li Yan and Su Wan, Mo Lingtan took Lee Xuiye to a dock where people were waiting for them near an anchored ship. It was not long before Mo Lingtan and Lee Xuiye boarded the ship that soon disappeared into the sea as if it was part of it.

Lee Xuiye had many questions but Mo Lingtan didn't answer even a single question. He just passed her a red gown and had a makeup artist accompany his wife.

In the end, Lee Xuiye unhappily pouted and went with the makeup artist. 

After a few hours, everything was ready. The chilly weather lasted very long, but today there were finally hints of some warmth through the bright sun. Still, the wind was quite strong therefore the whole ship was decorated with artificial candles along with the rose petals spread everywhere on the floor making it possible for the fragrance of the petals to reach every corner.

The ship was cleaving its path through the wind-whipped water and looked like it was dancing over the white cresting waves under the sheet of stars and moon.

It was such a mesmerizing moment that the cameraman couldn't stop himself from capturing it in his camera. Since the couple wasn't ready yet, he continued to capture every memorizing moment on and around the ship. 

Soon after, the couple came up. Mo Lingtan was wearing a black tailor-made three-piece suit. With his fair complexion, he was looking so breathtaking that even Lee Xuiye couldn't take her eyes off him even for a second.

She had never thought that her husband would look the most handsome man in this world that suddenly she had the urge to hide him from the rest of the world. Suddenly, she was feeling stressed to save her husband from the lustful glances of the rest of the women of this world otherwise, who knew which bitch would jump on her husband.

While, Lee Xuiye continued to stare at Mo Lingtan having a mix of emotions in her eyes--lust, love, pride, stress, and many more, on the other hand, Mo Lingtan also couldn't tear his stare away from his wife.

Lee Xuiye was wearing a gorgeous off-shoulder V neck red gown, its floor-length ruffles gave a rich look like a queen was walking up. Her hair was half curved and set on one side of the shoulder. Her happy smile showed all her white teeth with the red lipstick on her lips was adding a certain charm to her complete look making her look like a hot queen.

Lee Xuiye was looking so hot that Mo Lingtan wanted to take her to the bed and torture her full night but he controlled himself. After all, the night was still young as the sun had just set so after the photoshoot, this hot queen was all his then he would torture her for the whole night.
