Unfortunately, she could come up with one thing. "Why don't you find out?"
His hand moved up a little more until his fingertips barely grazed against her lower lips. She shivered at the stir of lust in her stomach. Mo Qingchen smiled at her and withdrew his hand, drawing up to his full height once again.
He moved his hand to the back of her neck and stroked the heated skin with his knuckles.
"You look delicious all flushed and wet, Qian Meng."
She felt his fingers trail over her collarbone and down her chest. He moved to pinch the end of her towel and tugged on it until it came undone. He gently pulled it down at an angle so that only her left breast was exposed.
He didn't grope her in an overly sexual way. He simply brushed his thumb over her nipples in a circular motion. It hardened at the stimulation and she expected him to continue… but he didn't. He simply smiled at her and walked into the bathroom, disrobing as he did.
She was caught off guard by the number of sexual advances Mo Qingchen made towards her since the wedding. Or the lack. The honeymoon was… tightly packed, but she hadn't expected him to even let her out to see the sunlight. Maybe her expectations were a little off. Maybe… because they were not real newlyweds, it didn't work the same way. Maybe because they weren't in love, he didn't constantly want her sexually.
What they did was great. But… it felt casual. Sure, the positions they took were intimate and it was excellent sex. Mo Qingchen was very skilled in that department and with the exception of when she was trying to prove she was sexy, she came every time… several times, actually.
"Are you going to stand there and stare?" he asked suddenly.
She blinked as his voice brought her back to her surroundings. She hadn't realized that she had been standing there just staring at him stupidly. He was completely naked, standing in front of the open door.
"Oh… no… I am going to post the pictures from the honeymoon and wedding. Announce it to the world."
He gave her a small smile. "I'll look forward to being on trending news tomorrow, then."
Qian Meng nodded as she closed the bathroom door quickly and readjusted her towel around her body. She flipped her hair over her shoulder and went to lay down on the bed where she cooled off from the steamy shower. The cold air against her skin felt absolutely divine.
She slowly closed her eyes, enjoying it. She didn't realize when she fell asleep.
She was woken up by Mo Qingchen nudging her leg. She groaned as she lifted her hand to rub her eyes. He was standing at the bed, his towel slung loosely around his waist.
"Don't sleep on the bed while you are wet," he said softly.
Okay, that was enough! She jumped off the bed, tucking her towel back together so that she didn't have to hold it, and ripped the blanket off the bed.
"What are you doing?"
She dragged the blanket across the room, through the bathroom, and over to the closet. She shoved it through the door so that it landed in a big pile on the floor and then parched over to the closet where the other bedsheets were kept. She found the one she thought was the most hideous and lugged it back to the bedroom with her.
"What is that?" Mo Qingchen asked as he saw what she was carrying.
"I found this cheetah print in your inventory. Don't be a snob," she answered as she fluffed it out over the bed.
"It's hideous. Who bought it? Is it for a teenager?"
"Maybe it was made for a teenager," she bit back.
"Okay, let's put something else. We won't get any sleep if we rest on that."
"No. I don't want to listen to you talk about your blanket anymore." She glared at him.
"Did I nag you too much?" he asked apologetically.
"Yes," she pouted.
"I'm sorry. You get cold so easily… It's chilly outside." He dragged his hand through his hair, messing it up despite how wet it was.
She had been annoyed until that statement was made. It flew out her body as she stared at him for a second. She couldn't very well continue to act spoiled so she went to the closet and pulled some clothes out.
The fact that they almost argued over a blanket made her worry about how they would adjust to living with each other as a married couple. It wouldn't be easy to adjust. They both had strong personalities and it was already difficult to sometimes mesh with him.
As they moved around the area, getting ready for bed, they remained in silence. As Qian Meng completed her night routine, Mo Qingchen suddenly broke the silence.
"You didn't post the pictures and announcement yet?" he asked.
She suddenly remembered. She squeaked as she abandoned the routine and plopped down on the bed to scroll through the pictures. They were all really well-taken. The first one she posted was of their red marriage booklets kept side by side, their pictures showing.
She titled it [spamming 1]
And then she numbered them like this. One picture of them having wine on the plane. One of them standing in front of the ocean, which a fellow tourist had taken of them.
The last one was of Mo Qingchen in the distance, the water was up until his waist, but his upper body was revealed to the world. Under the rays of the sun, he looked positively ethereal.
The pictures were posted just like that. One after the other without any grand declaration. It was explanation enough.
Mo Qingchen snorted as he saw the titles and then he pulled the phone away from her. "No more looking at the comments. Let's sleep," he announced.
She nodded as she pulled herself closer to him. She had thought it would be hard to sleep, but she was too exhausted to even end the thought. She was out within minutes.
