"So what now? We could not wait for her. We should continue filming the segment today" The director of Master Chef Li's show was infuriated when he learned that one of his student was a no show.

Master Chef Li thought about it and weigh on the gravity that her absence could hurt the show.

They could continue filming the segment without her but the outcome that they wanted will not be the same. And him being the main host/producer should make a stand, even if the decision will infuriate the director more. 

"Let's postpone this segment until she gets well. Let's shoot the other segment instead." 

"But what should we do with the other students that are present here?"The director asked as his temper flares up.

"We can think of anything to do with them. Why don't you sit with your head writer and do what you should do!" Master Chef Li for some reasons could no longer hold his temper too. 

The director looked at Master Chef Li and could not believe what he just saw. 

Master Chef Li was man who never raised his voice but he did for the first time.

Who was this Song Dei Si that Master Chef Li had favored on?

He thought of all his students and he remembered that one face have registered beautifully on the screen.

"Okay!" The director said and left Master Chef Li and approached the headwriter of the show.

"Have you heard?" Choi Mira asked her classmates who was resting at the holding area. She just came from the wash room and saw the PA of the show. She learned from her that Song Dei Si was a no show and there will be delays on the filming given that they need to re-order the sequences and shoot different segment instead. 

Chun Ji looked at Choi Mira and before he could ask a question, she continued with what she wanted to say. 

"Song Dei Si will not be coming in today." 

Everyone was almost expecting that because it was unlikely that Song Dei Si will be late for the show. 

"Why?" Chun Ji asked.

"She's not feeling well."

"Oh!" Chun Ji uttered. "Let me call her..."

"You have her number?" Choi Mira was surprised to know that and quite upset that Chun Ji has Song Dei Si's number.

"Yeah, didn't we share each other phone number when we became groupmates in one of our activities?" Chun Ji asked, quite puzzled on how Choi Mira was reacting.

"Oh, yeah!" Choi Mira suddenly remembered. But if Chun Ji has her number too, why he didn't call her? But she wasn't fell sick like Song Dei Si so he won't have any reasons. 

"Why don't you just send her a text message instead. She must be resting now and if you call her this may disrupt her sleep" Choi Mira suggested. 

Chun Ji agreed. He can send Song Dei Si a message to tell his get well soon wishes. She would be able to read it when she wakes up.

"Why are you smiling?" Yan Mor Tee asked his wife. They already had their lunch and were just resting at the lanai of their room while they were having their cup of tea. 

Song Dei Si had received messages on her phone. He knew because the screen lits up, and after than she was already smiling. Who sent her messages for her to smile like that?

"I've received a txt messages from my classmates in the cooking school. They sent me a get well soon wishes. How sweet." She said and shown her screen to Yan Mor Tee.

He couldn't agree more. His wife was lucky yo have such a thoughtful classmates. He was about to turn away his gaze from her phone screen when another message came in. It came from an unknown number.

Song Dei Si knitted her brows but decided to open the messages

UNKNOWN NUMBER: Hi Song Dei Si, Master Chef Li here. I've got your number from the student Master Roster File. It was said that you're not feeling well. Hope you feel better soon." 

SONG DEI SI: Hi Master Chef Li. Thank you for your message. Yes, I wasn't feeling well when I woke up this morning but I'm feeling better now. I'm sorry for the inconvenience that this have caused.

UNKNOWN NUMBER: No worries. Take care. 

Song Dei Si was about to save Master Chef Li's number into her phone directory when Yan Mor Tee spoke. 

"You have such a thoughtful teacher." 

Song Dei Si ignored his commentary and proceeded in saving Master Chef Li's number.

"Good Morning, CEO Yan." PA Su greeted his boss the next day when she saw him entered the secretariat office.

Yan Mor Tee nodded at her.

"How's Madam Yan?"PA Su was hesitant to ask him but still ask anyway.

"She's fine now." He briefly answered. 

PA Su nodded. That's what she wanted to hear. She was worried about Song Dei Si when she learned that she wasn't feeling well. She was so lucky that she treated her not just her husband personal assistant but also her friend. But of course, she could not ask more personal questions on her because she was still his boss' wife.

"Look for the best private investigator in the city"

She looked at him with a surprised face. 

"I want to meet him within 24 hours." He added. 

"Will do, CEO." she said but wanted to curse him for giving another urgent task. Where will she look for the best private investigator? Who is he going to investigate?

Should she ask Song Dei Si's help.
