Chapter 343 - FEEL AT HOME

"Because you're with me right now and I need to pick up something important." Lu Jioasheng answered.

His car entered a villa and Lee Chin Mei looked around. It wasn't as big as their villa but it was very homely. It has a nice frontyard and was surrounded by a lush green of plants.

He parked his car in front of the maindoor. 

"Let's go." Lu Jiaosheng said after he stopped the engine. 

Lee Chin Mei thought of just staying at the car since he will just picking up his laptop but since Lu Jiaosheng invited her in, it would be a great opportunity to have a glimpse what's inside his abode. 

"I'll just go upstairs to pick up the laptop" said Lu Jioasheng as they entered the main hall of the house that directed them to the living room. 

"Feel at home." 

Lee Chin Mei nodded. She sat at the sofa at the living room. She eyes roamed around and it seems that nobody was at home. So he really live all by himself at this villa? Who cleaned the house? Does he also do the chores? 

Lu Jiaosheng saw that she carefully surveyed the living room when he walked down from his study room. A smile curled up his lips. 

"What can you say about my kingdom?" He teasingly asked. 

"It's pretty but it seems that no one's living here except you? Who does the household chores?" She could not help but ask.

"I only live here every weekend. I have another bachelor's pad near the business center. I have someone to help clean this villa when I wasn't here."

"Why do you have so many houses when you're the only one who lives there?"

"I acquired this house for my future family"

Future Family. So he was looking forward to have a family of his own?

"Your planning to have a family soon?" She didn't know how it came out from her mouth. But she wanted to know.

Even if his answer could be an atomic bomb that can kill her.

"I wish. But I need to wait for a few years more." Said Lu Jiaosheng and met her gaze. 

"Why?" She asked and looked away from his gaze. 

"We're still both busy on each other endeavors. I wanted her to spread her wings first and when she feel that it's time to go home, then I am always be right here waiting for her."

"I see." Said Lee Chin Mei and she thought of the woman he was having conversation awhile ago. 

Judging from what she have read online about her profile, she seems to be a career-minded woman. 

That woman was so lucky for having Lu Jiaosheng support in everything she does. 

Lu Jiaosheng looked at his wristwatch and it was almost 12NN.

"Let's go! It would take an hour before we reach your brother's place." 

"Okay"

"I'll bring you here next time so you can take a look all over the house." 

Lee Chin Mei "...."

"Isn't it your secret abode?" 

Lu Jiaosheng laughed "Still is. So please keep it to yourself."

Keep it just for the two of us until the right time comes that we can invite our family and friends here. Lu Jiaosheng wanted to add. 

Because with this little girl in front of her. He needs more time to prepare her to the next level.

"I invited Lu Jiaosheng and Lee Chin Mei to have lunch with us today?" 

"Huh? I thought you don't want your little sister to pester you." 

"But those two are going out to have lunch alone." 

"So what?" Tan Ja Nin could not get it. What's wrong with Lu Jiaosheng and Lee Chin Mei to have lunch alone with each other? "It could not be taken like they were going to have a lunch date." 

"That's it! I don't want them to date."

"You're having a weird thoughts. Lee Chin Mei is just a little sister for Lu Jiaosheng." 

"She has a crush on Lu." 

Tan Ja Nin "...."

"When she was just a kid she even offered marriage to Lu Jiaosheng"

"But it was just a puppy love that can be forgotten in hours, days! For goodness sake! I'm sure Lu Jiaosheng will never cross the line. Apart from that, he is already inlove with someone else. Isn't he head over heels with that girl he met in Hong Kong?" Tan Ja Nin asked.

Speaking of that girl he met in Hong Kong. Didn't he mention before that he saw her in China?

He never heard anything about that girl since then. Lu Jiaosheng never mentioned anything about that girl anymore. Did he already find her?

"But he never mentioned that girl anymore." Said Lee Jin Ho.

Tan Ja Nin thought about it too. "Maybe he wasn't that inlove with that girl like we thought so." 

Impossible. He never saw Lu Jiaosheng got crazy again for a girl. He even went back to Hong Kong just to search for her. He would not spare time to any girl if he wasn't into her? 

"I'll ask him about this girl some other time. But for now I don't want to create an opportunity for Lu Jioasheng and Lee Chin Mei to be close with each other. If they got into a relationship. I couldn't help my little sister to be spare from being hurt."

"You worry for something that so far-fetch from happening." Tan Ja Nin rolled her eyes. "I could not see any interest in Lee Chin Mei towards Lu Jiaosheng now. Maybe she has gotten the puppy love that she felt for him before. And what are you afraid of, she will be going to Oxford to study and before Lu can take a step forward, she already left him and she will get busy in a world that has no Lu Jioasheng" 

Lee Jin Ho did not respond.

He made a deep sigh.
