13 Playing Doctor

"My apologies. Would you like to come to my place and see if you can cure my grandfather?" Yi Cai asked politely

"Quite the stark difference to her fierce personality…" Song Yifeng thought

"Sure, lead the way." Yifeng nodded

"This girl.. doesn't she suspect whether I have ulterior motives or not?" he thought internally as they walked for a bit then went inside a limousine

"Pretty fancy car, why would a rich heiress like her go to a shop in this city rather than seeking an expert? Something's up here… well let's just hope that my intuition is wrong." Yifeng thought as he sat in the car

"We will arrive in about 30 minutes, my apologies I haven't asked for your name. You would've known already but my name is Yi Cai" Yi Cai said

"It's fine, I'm Song Yifeng. You don't need to be so polite since you're older than me by a couple years." Yifeng said

"What? You're actually younger than I am? To be able to tell what ingredients were used to make a fake ginseng with just your eyes and nose you're amazing! May I ask who your master is? For him to have a disciple with great talent at such a young age, he must be a renowned figure." Yi Cai asked

"Ah, sorry my master said that I must not speak about him." Yifeng immediately replied without any pause

After 20 minutes or so of driving, the car drove up a steep mountain as it followed a singular road for another 10 minutes

"This place is pretty good, her grandfather must be some wealthy 1st Generation to be able to afford such a grand place." Yifeng thought as he looked around

As they arrived, the duo got out the limousine as the driver drove off to park the car nearby

"This way please." Yi Cai said as she lead the way

"Seriously how come she's so different to before? Where did that fiery personality go? Guess I'll never understand woman sigh…" Yifeng thought as he followed along

Looking around at the scenery, a large mansion of over 3000 square meters sat as the vast garden expanded over another 1000 or so square meters. The garden had various neatly trimmed plants as well as many workers trimming each bush carefully without mistakes

In front of the mansion at around 100 meters away, a large fountain sat there as a large statue of an old man made of pure gold stood proudly on a platform above the fountain

"That old guy must be her grandfather, pretty handsome but not as handsome as I." Yifeng thought

Approaching the door, Yi Cai opened the large 3 meter door with gold lion heads as handles slowly opened up

On each side of the doorway, dozens of maids and butlers all bowed in unison as they said "Welcome back young miss!"

"Thank you, you're all dismissed." Yi Cai replied as she kept walking

Song Yifeng looked around and saw plenty of famous paintings and instruments

Walking upstairs, Yi Cai stopped at a certain room then knocked twice

Knock* Knock*

"Grandfather, Yi Cai is here." Yi Cai said

"Cai er, come in." an middle aged man said from the inside

"Grandfather, your granddaughter is here." Yi Cai said as she looked at her pale grandfather lying on a bed surrounded by people

Song Yifeng followed behind as he made his way towards her grandfather and took a look at him using the library

"May I ask who this gentleman is?" the middle aged man who had previously answered the door asked

"Song Yifeng, he's an expert I found with a good chance at curing grandfather." Yi Cai said

"Him? This brat who seems to be even younger than you are?" a middle aged woman said

"Huh how can she tell? Even Yi Cai didn't notice… how strange.." Yifeng thought as he looked at the middle aged woman and scanned her

"I see so that's how it is.. If I'm right then this is truly a slightly sad story indeed."

"That's right Cai er! How can this brat cure your grandfather who is known as China's greatest miracle doctor? If even your grandfather cannot cure himself then how can this kid?" the middle aged man frowned and said

"Cough, haven't you ever heard the saying 'Only another doctor can save another doctor?' Well it's something along those lines but that's not the point. I can certainly cure your grandfather." Yifeng said confidently

"Really? That's great, I'll do anything as long as you can save grandfather!" Yi Cai said with excitement

"Cough, anything? Does this woman know how ambiguous that sounds?" Yifeng thought internally

"Hahahah! Bulls*it! If you can save my father I'll eat s*it and then kowtow 3 times and call you grandfather!" the middle age man laughed

"That's right! I will too!" the middle aged woman said

"Alright you said it yourself, don't forget what you said after I'm done." Yifeng said as he approached Yi Cai's grandfather

Song Yifeng then looked at him and thought "Sigh, should I expose that person? It's not right for an outsider to mess with another's family issue."

He then sat down and slowly moved the old man and sat him straight up

"Hey! Why are you moving him? Countless doctors have said to keep him lying down! If anything happens to my father, you'll pay dearly!" the middle aged man shouted

"Calm down, am I the doctor here or you? Shut up if you don't know jack s*it!" Yifeng coldly replied as he glared at the middle aged man sending shivers down his spine

"You!"

"..."

"Second uncle! Be quiet and let him do his thing!" Yi Cai shouted at her uncle then watched Song Yifeng's actions

Yifeng used his spiritual qi to press some acupoints around the back and front of the old man then took out a poach of silver needles he had secretly taken out as if it was always on his body

"Silver needles? This brat who hasn't even lived for two decades wants to perform acupuncture? Who does he think he is?" the middle aged woman said

Song Yifeng ignored them as he took out each needle and stabbed into the old man at lightning speed as he poured in spiritual qi

"As soon as I had entered the room, the library automatically taught me how to save the old man.. to think that he had this much Yin energy inside his body as well as some Yin type poisons that devoured his immune system for a couple years, he's pretty tenacious for a geezer." Yifeng thought

5 minutes later, Yifeng quickly took out the needles before the old man's body exploded due to excess Yang energy and spiritual qi

He got up and said "Well I'm done. All goods."

"You're done? In just 5 minutes? You're joking!" Yi Cai's uncle shouted

"Did you really cure him? He doesn't look any different to before." Yi Cai asked

"5..4..3..2..1.. now." Yifeng said

Cough* Puke*

Yi Cai's grandfather vomited a pile of black blood as soon as Yifeng finished counting as the old man's face became rosy and lips regained its color

"Perfect." Yifeng thought

"Grandfather!" Yi Cai said

"You! Why did father cough out blood?" Yi Cai's uncle shouted

"Is your brain made of tofu? I cleared his body of his toxins and took out the poison inside his body, how else do you expect it to come out?" Yifeng asked with a dumbfounded expression

Yi Cai's uncle could only twitch as he heard that reply then looked at his father

The old man slowly opened his eyes as Yi Cai and her uncle and the middle aged woman called him
