14 Sunnyside Up

"Grandpa!" Yi Cai shouted

"Father!" her uncle and aunt shouted as well

The old man opens his eyes slowly as he looks around to see his favourite grandchild along with his children looking at him

"Ca… Cai er… Ba er.." old man Yi said slowly

"That's great! Your awake grandpa!" Yi Cai said excitedly as she teared up

"Yikes let's hope there's no snot involved." Yifeng thought as he waited without making a sound

The old man turns slowly to see an unfamiliar youth standing near him and says "This young man is?"

"He's the one who saved you!" Yi Cai said

"Him?... Thank you young man. Please accept this old man's gratitude." the old man said as he slowly got up with the help of his family

"Glad to help, my name is Song Yifeng, if there's nothing else I'd like to look around the place." Yifeng said

"Please.." the old man said as Yifeng left the room then closed the door slowly

As he walked around the mansion and saw many famous pieces of art, he checked the prices of each of them which dumbfounded him

"Jesus, even in this world some guys doodling can be sold for hundreds of millions? I mean look at that, a blue canvas with a couple white dots and a red line sold for 300 million yuan?" he thought

"Maybe I should get into this business… Those businesses that sell uncracked rocks which may have gems in them seems like a good field of business too… With my eyes I will be able to see gems right away."

"Hmm there's not much to do, guess I'll freeload here for a while before finding some senior in the group to play with."

As he stood there and thought internally, Yi Cai slowly approaches him and broke him free from his thoughts

"Thank you, Mr Song for your help. I sincerely thank you." she said as she bent down and did a 60 degree bow three times

"Man she bows pretty darn low I feel like I'm being kowtowed to.." he thought as he stopped her from continuing

"Mr Song, what do you want for your help? Our family has plenty of resources and connections if you need.." Yi Cai said

"Stop here, first of all I'm younger than you so calling me Mr Song is a big no. How about I call you elder sister instead whilst you just call me Yifeng or little brother? As for a reward how about letting me stay here as a guest for a bit and then introduce me to a place or two?" Yifeng asked

"Of course! You may stay here for as long as you want. I will also call you little brother then." Yi Cai replied

"Great! Hmm it's still a bit early for dinner, is there anything good to do around?" Yifeng asked

"Hmm… well there's nothing much in this city besides some major businesses." Yi Cai said

"Major businesses? That's great, how about you bring me to see them and tell me about each of them?" Yifeng asked

"Sure. My grandpa would also like to thank you again personally." Yi Cai replied as the two of them left the mansion and got into her car

"Seems like she has her own car too.. Why let the butler drive then?" Yifeng thought as he sat in the seat next to Yi Cai and looked around

"Some major businesses in this city include, a large supermarket chain owned by a huge corporation called Sunnyside Up, a pharmaceutical business that occupies half of China's pharmacies, an international jewellery brand and well as large real estate companies." Yi Cai explained

"Seriously? Sunnyside Up? Who thought of that name? If I were the CEO that person would've been sacked!" Yifeng thought

"Erm, are there any places that gamble stones?" Yifeng asked

"Stones? As in the ones that might contain precious gems in them? I believe there is one not far from our location." Yi Cai nodded

"Alright let's go there then." Yifeng replied
