Chapter 36 - 36

"Speak", the Emperor said in a low tone. The tone sent shivers down the man's spine. The man knew whether he told him or not, the Emperor would find out, so he decided to tell him himself.

" The supervisor Jin, he… hurt him", the moment the man said that the air in the room seems to have all gone away. The atmosphere in the room was thick making it hard for him to breathe. He did not want to look at the emperor as he knew what his expression, he was making but he did anyway. The emperor's face was dark if looks could kill Supervisor Jin would be 10 feet under the ground.

As the whole ordeal with the Emperor was going on Zhao Yang had found Yu's father told him that he was allowed to leave. Zhao Yang did not stay in the palace any further. He left after saying goodbye and headed towards the house he was staying at with the Yu family. The walk to the house was not long, however, Zhao Yang could not shake the feeling that someone was following him. He could not pinpoint where he could feel the stares were coming from, however, he did not bother doing anything about it either as the person does not seem to be making a move. Zhao Yang stayed inside the house until night-time, when the Yu father and son came back, one from work and the other from school. After they had eaten dinner, young Yu went straight to bed. The only people who were awake were Zhao Yang and Yu's father.

" If you have to go then I cannot stop you, however, allow me to come with you. It's your first time in this place, what if you get lost", the Yu father insisted to Zhao Yang who was stern about leaving on his own.

" Uncle Yu I appreciate it, but I need to go alone, also I'm not going anywhere far. I am still going to be in the capital city,'' Zhao Yang said as he got up and left. He did not want to bring Yu's father for many reasons and one of them was that he did not want to be more indebted to him than he already is. Zhao Yang did not think of a plan on how he was going to find information about his family, nor did he know where he should begin looking. Zhao Yang decided that he was going to look around the Capital City. Zhao Yang was just wandering around when suddenly felt the same pair of eyes he felt before on him again. The first time this happened he let it go as they might have had the wrong person, but this is different. From what he can sense this person is following him. However, he has only been in the Capital City for a few days, these is no way that someone from here would know him unless it was one of the Yu family members. However, that was unlikely as the young one is asleep and as for the Yu father, his strength is not that high so he can easily sense that it was him.

This person following him right now is not a weak person, their strength might be stronger than Zhao Yang's. They might have also purposefully exposed themselves, but why? Zhao Yang was not frightened but rather worried that if he were to cause trouble in the Demon Kingdom, he might not be able to find anything about his parents. Zhao Yang had made up his mind and started to walk towards a less crowded area. There he stopped in front of different stalls and looked around for eye-catching items. Despite there being many things, nothing was able to catch his eyes. Seeing as the person was still following him, Zhao Yang had no choice but to change his tactics.
