Chapter 37 - 37

Zhao Yang walked towards the riverbanks, he did not go there to see the view or anything but rather this was his new plan. He wanted to draw the person out, who was following him. Zhao Yang sat near the riverbanks, he took off his shoes and dipped his feet into the cold running river water. He sat down comfortably and thought about his time in this world.

As he was thinking he could sense the presence of the person behind a large tree, 'trying to hide', Zhao Yang thought to himself. He wanted to know who this person is, following him around, however, he was also scared as he did not want to accidentally provoke a powerful force. Zhao Yang decided on a more peaceful tactic, one that will not require him to fight the person.

" I know your there, you can come out now", Zhao Yang said loudly, ensuring that the person can hear. Zhao Yang thought that after hearing him they might come out; however, the person did not seem to move at all. Zhao Yang waited for a while thinking that giving the person some time will make them want to come out. Sadly, he was wrong. It seemed that the person did not have any intention of coming out, and Zhao Yang was losing his patience.

Zhao Yang got up from where he was, without putting his shoes back on, he walked towards the tree. The distance from him and the tree was not that far, however, as the distance between the two got smaller and smaller, Zhao Yang could feel the person suddenly disappeared and moved to another area. Zhao Yang did not want to let this person go this time around. Zhao Yang used his powers and increased his speed and followed the presence of the person. Zhao Yang was considered the fast, however, this person seemed faster than him. Now Zhao Yang realised why the other kingdoms do not allow people from the Demon Kingdom to come to their homes. They would feel humiliated by their powers, their strength is higher than most people.

Zhao Yang had lost track of the person, but he was not surprised, this person strength must be greater than his. Zhao Yang had sensed around; however, he could not find the person's presence. Zhao Yang was about to give up when he suddenly felt the person presence again. Unlike last time, Zhao Yang did not wait and quickly ran towards the area where he could feel the person.

Zhao Yang was lead towards a forest, there was still some light out, because of this he was able to see the shadow of the person moving quickly from one place to the other. Zhao Yang knew that to stop this person he would have to jump them. Zhao Yang could not see much from the ground and had to jump on top, after looking for a while he noticed that the person was moving in a pattern. Zhao Yang observed for a bit longer and confirmed that he was moving in a pattern.

Zhao Yang used his powers and concealed himself. He moved from one tree to the other, getting closer and closer to a certain point where he might be able to catch the person. Zhao Yang stopped when he was close enough to the person, however, he could not see their face as it was covered by a hooded robe. Zhao Yang waited for a bit, but then finally, he found the right moment, he did not hesitate much and jumped. He landed right on top of the person tumbling them on the floor.
