Chapter 36 - No Mercy!

Gine and Bardock flew happily through space, they had been eager through their journey, but now, they were nearing their destination. Bardock was the happiest and most eager, he couldn't wait to do what he did best.

The destination was was within their sights, it was time to fight soon. Gine and Bardock had trained a lot on there way here, well, they used weights to train. They wanted to spar, but that wasn't possible on this ship, less they blow a hole in the ship and die in space.

They even had a 'good time' at night on some days. Bardock laughed when he recalled Kayn telling them to be careful, he didn't care much about it and let 'one-off inside' anyway! If Kayn knew this, he would probably have a fear attack.

Kayn didn't think it was time to be having a baby now, they weren't in the position for that. Gine could only sigh when it happened, she could only hope she didn't get pregnant.

The ship drew closer until it was now on the planet's doorstep. The ship easily broke through the atmosphere without showing any speed deterrence. As fast as it was descending, it stopped at the right moment and landed gently.

[Destination Has Been Met!]

A mechanical voice came from the ship, alerting Bardock and Gine that they had arrived. Bardock and Gine were already armored up and ready to go. The ship was coordinated to land near the city Kayn had originally visited at that time.

Kayn actually prepared some clothes for Bardock to wear for combat. The Bardock from the recent movie wore the typical armor for a Saiyan with light blue pants. The Old school Bardock wore vest-like armor with dark blue pants and a dark blue and light green c.h.e.s.t plate.

Kayn liked the old school Bardock's dressing style better, so he bought the armor off the system to soothe his fanboy taste. Bardock wore it, he actually like this style better himself, he even felt lighter wearing it.

As for Gine, her armor was basically the same except the color, which was originally green, now turned pink. She wore what appeared to be leggings, but they were thin pants that were trailing into her warrior boots.

Once they walked out of the ship, they instantly shot out their Ki-Senses; locking in on the city close by. Gine and Bardock looked at each other and nodded before shooting into the air and toward the city.

Gine's expression looked serious and so did Bardocks, however, he was used to this type of thing, so he wasn't phased by what was coming next. Their arrival toward the city was fast, it was just as Gine remembered, it was this place!

Bardock looked at Gine, and he could see her conflict.

"It'll be over soon." Bardock wrapped his arms around her and spoke to her with a gentle and kind voice.

"Yes, let's get this over with, so we can return to our son." Gine smiled and nodded, happy to hear Bardock's heartwarming words.

Gine knew where all the evil was in this city, she had been here for many years, so how could she not know? The City Gate guards were no good themselves, they were crooked and would beat or kill anyone that defied them.

"How dare you fly near here, you'll have to pay a toll for doing that!" The guards looked menacingly at Bardock and Gine.

"Hmm, actually, if you let us play with this woman here, we can forgive you, what do you say?" One of the guards looked at Gine and his eyes shined.

As soon as his voice fell, his body was engulfed in blue light, then the area around him went up in smoke! The City Guards were shocked, these 2 actually dared to attack and kill a city Guard!

"F.u.c.k! Sound the alarm, these 2 can't be let off!" The tall guard with blue futuristic armor shouted angrily. The alarms were sounded, but Bardock and Gine showed no worries. These guards weren't strong, as the typical Gate guard had a power level between 4,000 to 5,000.

"Who do you think you are, you just killed a City guard!" Several of the guards took to the air, clearly ready for a fight.

"He could only blame himself; if his mouth wasn't so dirty, he wouldn't have died so fast." Bardock was the one who killed him on the spot. But his last words hinted that the man was going to die anyway, but he could have lived longer if he kept his mouth shut.

After Bardock's words fell, they both made their move. They quickly arrived at the few City guard's flanks. Bardock's hand appeared in front of one of the guards, then he shot an energy wave at point-blank in the man's face!

The Guard screamed but his screams soon died down, as he was no more.

The other guards were angered further, but before they could do anything, some man had a hole blown through his c.h.e.s.t. They couldn't keep up with these 2, they were just too fast. In a matter of minutes, the guards were eliminated.

However, the Guard captain shot into the sky and made a run for it after evaluating the situation.

"Kaio-Ken!" Gine's body ignited like fire, then she moved in a flash. She appeared in front of the Guard Captain and kicked him so hard that his body exploded into blood mist!

"Damn!" Bardock was awed for a second before flying over.

However, the reinforcements that were on their way showed horror-stricken expressions. The Scanners couldn't process the power level of these individuals!

"May we know why you guys have come here, we don't want any trouble. Is there anything we can give you to solve this problem you may have with us?" One of the men tried to make peace, they feared for their lives seeing their strength go far beyond the scanner's understanding.

"Yeah, we want something." Bardock said; just before they could ask what, Bardock answered. "We want you all to die!"

Bardock didn't give them a chance and flashed toward 3 targets, the 3 of them were easily killed. Bardock punched one through the stomach, then shot an energy attack through his body. Many men next to this soldier were caught in the blast and died.

They had no choice but to fight, they could only use their numbers to their advantage. More people kept showing up and Gine and Bardock kept killing them. Just in case they ran out of energy, they had 2 Senzu beans each.

But the chance was low since they could practically one-shot them all.

"It's you, you're that slave from that time!" One of the men seemed to recognize Gine. Soon, everyone looked at her closely and started to remember.

"H-how can she get this strong so quick? T-this is unreal!" It didn't take a genius to figure out why they had come here.

It was clearly for revenge!

"Damn it! We have to inform the King!" The man started touching his helmet to send a message. However, a light flashed over his way, piercing his throat; the man's eyes went wide from shock. He wasn't the only one, many people trying to call for help was killed on the spot.

Gine was simply shooting a barrage of thin lasers toward the groups of people at random. Even though it was random, people either died or they were heavily wounded.

"Lady, we let you go, why are you coming back to cause trouble? We're no longer enemies, what is your problem!?" Gine recognized this man, he was one of the men who performed the trade with Kayn at that time for her.

Disgust appeared Gine's face. Gine stopped her blind fire and started to target the man speaking. Honestly, Gine was nice and kind to her family only, thus, she would act hostile toward most outsiders. She wouldn't outright attack and kill them, but she wouldn't be so friendly.

The man gritted his teeth and started dodging the barrage of lasers. As he was dodging; a silhouette appeared behind him and grabbed his shoulder.

"Huh?" The futuristic armored man turned and saw the man that came with her smiling at him. His eyes dilated, then he tried to break away, but his arm was ripped off during the process.

"Ahhh!" After the man got free from Bardock's grasp, he shot an energy wave at Bardock, who was still holding his arm in his hand. Gine appeared behind the man, and grabbed the back of his head; she quickly twisted and broke his neck.

Bardock came out of the blast unscathed. Gine looked at him and nodded before they both flew deeper into the City. Gine and Bardock started their killing spree, the funny thing was that most of the City guards recognized her.

The slaves in the area were in a fear-like state, but they soon felt happy seeing all of these things. At first, they were scared but when they discovered that they weren't being targeted, they caught on to what was going on.

It took hours of endless fighting, Gine was waiting for the best piece of meat. The King and his royal guards had long since been alarmed. However, he never left his castle, he only hoped this threat would leave as soon as it killed to its heart's content.

Bardock and Gine both charged up energy attacks and struck out at the castle. Their combined attacks nearly wiped the whole castle out. "You've killed just about everyone in the City, what more do you want!? Are you crazy!?" A loud voice boomed from the castle, it could be no one else but the King.

Bardock smirked coldly and shot more attacks at the castle.

"You! Go, Kill them!" At that moment, many royal guards shot out of the debris, while some appeared out of what was left of the castle.

Bardock, in normal fashion quickly handled the royal guards much to the King's surprise. Those Royal guards were highly trained by him, while some were strong mercenaries and bounty hunters in the past.

"You really have forced me!" The King grew agitated and removed his crown and his cape, which was connected to his shirt. His method looked similar to how piccolo removed his weighted clothes when he got serious.

The King's clothes were indeed weighted as they slammed into the ground, create a small crater. With the removal of his weights, his strength shot up from its initial level. "Bardock, do you want to take this one, or do you want me to quickly handle this?" Gine asked.

"I can handle this, I like a good fight but his strength still isn't enough." Bardock said and continued, "You go find the ones who did you in, you can just leave this false King to me." Gine had faith in Bardock's strength, besides, he was suppressing his strength already and wasn't serious at all here.

Gine looked into the distance, there was rubble over in this area, but she felt many existences hiding beneath it.

Gine scoffed, it was obvious that she was discovered by her enslaver, thus, he quickly started hiding when he saw her. This was the same for the one who broke her limb and cut off her arm, she really wanted him!

'Wanna hide, huh? You may have succeeded if I couldn't sense your energy over there.' Gine personality had changed from that smiley go happy person in from of Kayn.

Gine wouldn't let them die easy, they had to suffer first, this wasn't usually the style of a Saiyan. This was used in some cases, but only if it was to sway someone to their side through fear or to break the oppositionist in question.

Gine cared deeply for her family and herself, all else really didn't matter. This was her true way of thinking, she was still a Saiyan, after all, and she had her means of handling a situation within her control.

Gine hovered over to the area with an indifferent expression, while a fight broke out between the King and Bardock.

Gine would show no mercy!
