Chapter 181 - Stunned

"What are you s-saying? Are you crazy?" My brows furrowed.

He chuckled, waggling his head to the other side. He would licked the side of his lips and then he'll laughed again.

And I can't help but to blush too. His reaction sends a different sensation through out my body.

"Just kidding." He says, obviously suppressing himself to laugh again.

I rolled my eyes and opened the music player of his car. I connect the bluetooth of my phone to the player and choose a song. I'm a music lover even if it's not obvious.

"You love music?"

"Obviously."

"Grumpy?" He laughed.

"Is it funny?"

I don't know but he's irritating me seriously. He makes me feel like I wanted to hit him and I don't really know why..

Maybe he just looked so annoying or what.

And now, I heard his annoying laughs again. I bit my lower lip and just try to ignore it. But damn.

"I don't what I've done to you woman but It makes me wonder how can you still managed to be this cute even if you're ma," He glanced at me. "Hmm?"

My face heated and all I could do is to cursed inside my head. He really wants to annoy me, oh god.

"It's in born. I just can't help but to look naturally cute and beautiful.." I rolled my eyes.

"Oh. Well, that's true."

He agrees like he freakin' accept my answer. I didn't know how should I feel since he seems like teasing and at the same time sarcastic.

"Will you just focus on your driving? I didn't want to get into an accident with you!"

"As if I would wanted to die early. There are many girls to cry if it happens.."

I laughed sarcastically. How can he be so boastful and naturally crazy? If it was deadly, he's probably dead right now. Ugh!

"How sure you are, huh?" I pursed my lips.

"Oh. Ed Sheeran!"

I almost jumped on my seat when he suddenly shouted. Damn, I thought we're going to crash another car!

My heart skipped and all I could do is to massaged my chest. Jacob was really annoying sometimes and I just wanted to give him a big punch on the face.

"I love that music.."

He closed his eyes and feel the music. At first, I was going to laugh at his reaction but then, I saw a familiar emotion in his eyes. Like he's taking out his soul to the melody of the music.

So don't call me baby,

Unless you mean it..

He sang the song like he can relate on it. It feels like he's expressing his feelings through that song.

Damn, I shouldn't have just played it. I suddenly felt guilty about it. I didn't know but, I can feel his emotion while I'm watching him right now. And when he opened his eyes, it automatically locked onto mine.

His ocean blue eyes was directly pierced on me. He stared at me for a second before returning back to the road. The atmosphere has changed into an awkward feeling. Shit.

"I'm just always here, Raine. Even if I don't have place in your heart.."

His eyes were telling me that he's hurt. Oh god, I didn't even know how to make him feel better because I know he wouldn't feel good after all..

And why would he suddenly bring it up? Was he trying to make me feel guilty?

I heard his heavy sighed before turning the car to the other side, "I'm just saying this just in case you forgot that someone has your back whenever you face another hardship.."

My mouth parted. "That's me.." He smiles before turning off the engine. "Let's go,"

He opened the car door and walked over to my direction. He was about to open the door for me but I immediately opened it so he wouldn't feel burden with it. I can manage you know.

Embarrassment registered on his face as soon as I exit the door. He even gave me a way to fully walked on the passage. He offered his hand that I just took. I didn't want him to feel more embarrassed.

"The girls must be waiting for you now." He says and lead the way.

"Where's my mom and my brothers?"

I looked around but I can't even see my family. Did they even go here or what? But I thought they would come too..

"This is a party, Raine. You're not thinking that they would go here too, don't you?" His brows furrowed, glancing at me we're walking towards the entrance.

And with that, I realized that my siblings were still young to go here. And what would else my mom going to do here? She doesn't even know how to party or whatever..

"You're right." I giggled.

He paused and stared at me for a few seconds. I was a bit nervous when he suddenly stared like that. I'm still not used to it though.

"What?" I raised a brow.

"How can you still looked so beautiful with those gown?" He's pertaining to my graduation gown.

"Don't fall deeply on me, Jacob. I'm nothing but a big trouble to you.."

"You're not a trouble, Raine."

One of our friends guided us inside the house and Jacob was the one who shows an invitation paper on the guard.

It's pretty here, huh? Most of the people was from our school too. Actually, I knew most of them.

"You came!"

Hannah and Zia run towards us and gave us a warm hug as soon as we reached the pool area. Bailey also walked behind them wearing her two piece bikini. She kinda looked ready for the swimming, huh?

"Congratulations guys.." Hannah says while smiling together with the two girls.

"You should get change on the room later, Raine.." Zia says and I just nodded. 

"He's your new boyfriend, right?" Bailey asked.

My eyes widened. Oh no. What makes her think that this guy is my boyfriend!

But I rolled my eyes when I saw how Jacob's face looked so glad that I didn't even see it coming!

"He's not my boyfriend."

The smile on their faces shifts into an awkward reaction. Well, if I didn't tell it to them, they might take it as a bad idea. And I didn't want to hurt Jacob more. He's such a great guy and he don't deserved being toyed.

His feelings are also important to me.

"I'm sorry.. We thought that you were a..you know..a thing.." They seemed uncomfortable with it.

"Oh no. You didn't have to say sorry.. You're not the only one who's saying that.." I said. I didn't want them to feel uncomfortable..

"Congratulations babe.."

I felt an arms around my waist which made me surprised. And when I turned to my back, I saw Daniel laughing while still trying to cage me with his arms.

"Stop it, Dan. You're so flirt!" I hissed.

I keep on distancing my body to him because he keeps on coming to me. Damn. This guy is so naughty!

I wanted to grab his arms and push him on the pool! Grr!

His laughs were so annoying and it was also got worse when the two guys joins him. They were all teasing us damn it.

"Come on, Dan! You're over, Raine?" Wyatt shouts like a freakin' bastard.

"I also thought bro. But she's so beautiful tonight.."

He acts to be attracted but I picked some bottled juice and throw it on him. He got hit and his eyes widened at me. I didn't know but I just laughed at his reaction.

"You seems like you just hit on your balls, man. That was horrible!" Cameron and Wyatt burst out in laugh and the girls also joined them.

"Say that again and I'll truly break your balls bastards!"

Daniel tries to come to them but when he caught my attention, he turned to my direction. He's about to hug me again but then, Jacob came between us wearing his deadly glare.

Oh no.

"Stop it, man. It's not funny," I can see the irritation on Jacob's face now.

He's not usually like that so I was amazed. I didn't actually expect that he's going to act like this.

I can't help but to smirk. Damn it. I must be crazy.

"I'm just teasing her, man. Sure, you can be with her now.." Daniel seemed threatened.

I tucked out my tongue at him and he also made a face to me before he walked away. Damn. That was childish!

"You looked like you're going to eat him alive huh? What happened to you?" I laughed.

He turned to me and looked at me with those irritated look. He's grumpy now, huh?

"What?" He arched a brow.

"Jealous?"

I wanna laughed again when I saw his clenching jaw as he looked away, trying to avoid my gaze. He's obviously jealous.

"Why can't you answer me?"

I suppressed myself for laughing so hard because he might get annoyed more if I do that. I just wanted to see his reaction, though.

I'm a demon when it comes to him, you know..

"Jealous.." He chuckled sarcastically. "Who? Me?" He points at himself while pursing his lips.

"Yep."

I smiled and acted innocent. Well, I love teasing him.

"I'm not.." He said.

He leaned closer to me and whispered on my ear. "Not until I saw your ex coming here now.."

I was stunned to what he said. W-what does he m-mean...?

N-noah's here? But why?
