"Okay, okay, you've had your fun. Now tell me what else happened. Don't hold out on me!"

She rolls her eyes at my eccentric behavior but there's a small smile on her lips.

"When he had awoken, that's when I found out that he is four star alchemist!"

"Dang, looks like you hit the jackpot!" The path of alchemy consists of eight levels in total. Four star alchemists are not rare...but you don't see them quite often. There is about mire than a handful of them that are known. Usually only members of noble clans, that have at-least five generations have enough connections to obtain a four star alchemists.

Their skills are highly sought after, and why wouldn't they be. Able to concoct great healing elixirs and high grade medicinal pills. During times of war they are a great ȧsset to soldiers who are injured during fierce battles.

This profession involves a lot of money, and families who have produced alchemists, even if they're only first grade, have a certain bit of status.

"What is his name?"

"Zhang Zhiwu"

"Mm, looks like this was destined for him."

"Yeah, he's an amazing shifu. Though, a bit cold hearted, He is extremely well versed and has a lot of talents. When I ask questions, he doesn't even get angry, instead he calmly explains to me which way is proper, and how much mental energy I need to sustain myself. It's really an eye opener."

"Aw, I'm so happy for you Ora. That reminds me, as you know I also dabble a little bit in the path of alchemy." Her face is bland as she listens to my humble sentence. Obviously, she doesn't believe a word I say.

"Anyway, I was at a black market one night. Because the things they sell there are really good and it's a great way to trade with others and make connections. So, while I was there I met a vendor on the side of the street. He said that he sold secret ancient texts on high grade cultivation methods etc.

I was so excited when I browsed around and found one on alchemy, and immediately bought it. Too bad I couldn't stay for too long, because one of father's secret guards found me. And basically dragged me back to the palace where I was forced to write I shall obey father's commands one thousand times, submitting the finished pieces to him.

"Dang girl! So when did this happen?" Her voice is high pitch, as she holds my hands in hers, expecting an answer from me.

"After you left the capital for the academy."

"Ah, that makes much more sense. Back to the main topic at hand though, when am I going to meet this supposed "godly shifu" of yours." I say in a deep masculine voice. What can I say, I love teasing my best friend.

"Never." Ora exclaims in a matter-of-fact manner.

"Oh, I see. Somebody's possessive. Come on girl, I though we had a bond. What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine."

"Uh-I don't think that's how the saying goes..."

"That's how it goes the way I say it."

"Okay then, I see you haven't changed at all since my departure. The same narcissistic princess."

"And you're the same boyish brute from back then. I also consider that a compliment by the way, hehe." Tit for Tat.

Ora just hates being called that. It's a label that's been forced on her, Ora's whole life. Like a pesky fly that just won't go away.

"Of course you do. I swear nothing can ruffle your feathers." I give her a wink at that remark.

"Gazora you know me so well." Saying that, I then head towards the large kitchen. Yes, I am hungry again. Some have even said that my stomach is like a bottomless pit.

In the kitchen, I move towards the storage room that holds all of necessities needed to cook with. I grab four bite size pig trotters hanging on the wall, dried chili pepper, and green onion. Then making my way back to the kitchen from the underground cellar, I begin to prepare dinner for Gazora and I.

I boil the pig trotters for three minutes, then I remove the meat, putting it into a bigger pot. After that I add more water, along with sichuan pepper, sliced ginger and the green onion. Following that I add this worlds version of cooking wine. It's of a higher quality, and gives the meal a bit of kick.

I leave the food on the wooden stove until I can see that the meat is nice and tender. After I finish that I go ahead and prepare the sweet sauce to poor on the meal. The process doesn't take me long, but it isn't easy either.

Having to live by myself when I still alive on earth naturally means I have mȧturėd earlier than most. The basic things that should be learnt and used in life I know.

An hour later when I am done cooking, I call Gazora out of my room along with Baozi to eat.

"Mmmm, something smells delicious. I'm starving what'd you make this time. You're cooking is always the best."

"Hehe, you flatter me. I just made some braised pig trotters, nothing fancy."

"Oh then don't mind my lack of manners." As she says that, she and Baozi dig in. The fat bird can bȧrėly stand as it pecks its plate. Eyes closed while it thoroughly enjoys my food.

"Master, this is the best food in the world!" His beak is full of sauce, and wings covered in grease.

I smile at him as I continue eating from my own plate. Gazora and I do not stop until all of the food is consumed.

"Ah, this is the life." Ora pats her stomach. Her smile is so wide that her eye lids are forced shut. She rubs her stomach in satisfaction as a small burp escapes her lips.

"Of course you would say that. You're not the one slaving away in the kitchen,"

"As it should be." She responds.

I roll my eyes in the sight of her laziness. "I would love to see you out, but I have a bird to bathe. But I will see you tomorrow so that I can show you the alchemy book. It's too late to let you view it now." The silvery moon peeks it's bead through the windows. Letting it be known that it is night time.

She yawns, stretching her arms out above my head agreeing with me.

"Okay then Mel Bel, I'll see you later alligator!"

"After awhile crocodile," I respond in rhythm. Locking the door at her departure I then turn my head towards the sleeping bird on the dining table.

I move towards him and pick up his small chubby body. He may be tiny, but boy oh boy is he heavy. It's like a living bowling ball I tell you.

I take Baozi towards the hot spring located adjacent my chambers. It's warmth will wake Baozi up soothingly.

Hehe.

*Splash!*

"Master! Master! I'm drowning." Baozi awakes with a start when I throw him in the water. I laugh at his panicky state. I pick up his body after seeing all of the dirt come off of his body.

"They're now you are all clean." I say as I dry him off with my fire element. I generate the heat in the middle of my palm and rub my hands across his body. After I do that, I then call upon my wind element powers to blow dry him. When I'm done, his feathers are all fluffed up and he looks like a little fur ball.

"Awe, you look too cute!" I give him fat kiss to the face. If he was in his human form, Baozi would have been blushing for sure.

"Master yuck! Divine birds such as myself don't do kisses."

Yeah yeah, it's not like you can stop me.
