Chapter 132 - Jealousy

"What do you mean, Shifu?"

Even though Zhou Liwei knew that his Shifu had caught on, he couldn't admit to it. As long as he kept feigning ignorance, the man couldn't fault him. The first rule he had learned when he joined this school is to never abuse Wing Chun, to always use it for righteousness and justice. You will only use Wing Chun when you absolutely have to, and only for a just cause.

"Do I need to clarify? Shouldn't you a top-tier instructor know better?"

"Shifu, I'm only doing this for Xiao Lan. The man harassed her! It's for justice."

"I see justice."

The old man had a mysterious smile on his face, Zhou Liwei didn't know what to think about the smile at all. Did he agree with him or doesn't he?

"I know it's an unfair battle since I have many years of martial arts training, so I'm giving him the best rule set, aren't I?"

The old man just laughed, hearing Zhou Liwei's excuse.

"Young boy, if you don't want to take this fight. You can just walk out of here, I'm her father, I can guarantee that we won't make any trouble for you."

Wang Ming didn't think that the receptionists father would side with him and let him go. Had he seen what had truly happened?

"Thank you, old man, but I'm going to fight. Since your disciple have challenged me, then I can't be like a frightened mouse running away from the challenge, can I?"

The old man had an amusing smile on his face, Wang Ming reminded him of himself, when he was young. He himself had been in that same situation, being cornered into a wall, not knowing how to fight. But Wang Ming's better than him. He ran away as fast as he could, but Wang Ming's facing his problems head on.

"Well, then. Since you both agree on the rule set, then I'll judge. This is not a deathmatch, so no lethal hits. If one of you even dares to punch the other person in a lethal spot, I'm going to be the person to break your bones then escort you to the police."

Wang Ming understood how the man could be Zhou Liwei's Shifu, when he said those last words. He finally released the beast inside him. The old man had looked so weak moments ago, but now he looked as strong as a bear. Both Zhou Liwei and Wang Ming felt the hair on the back of their necks stand up.

"Now let's go."

Zhou Liwei and Wang Ming both walked up to the center of the ring, standing 1 meter from each other. Zhou Liwei would be the first to attack they would then alternate for every minute. The first one to get knocked out would be the loser.

Wang Ming didn't feel confident in winning the fight at all, but luckily since the fight is split into attacking and defending. He had a higher chance to win since the only thing he felt confident in is how strong his body is. He felt confident that Zhou Liwei wouldn't be able to knock him out early.

Both men got into their own stance when Zhou Liwei put up his stance. All his trainees gasped. They had heard about this stance from him many times but never seen it in practical use. Zhou Liwei had his feet in a neutral stance, pointing his toes at Wang Ming. His stance emphasized speed. But that's not what made them gasp, what made them gasp is how he positioned his arms.

Zhou Liwei had his arms almost like how Muay Thai practitioners would have their arms one close to their head while the other close to their torso. This is the school's speciality, the Elbow stance, it's an advance technique only a few instructors have learnt. What's dangerous about the technique is that the elbows if used right can be just as sharp as a knife, not only this with fas hits, you can bleed out your opponent without even being hit.

When the trainees looked at Wang Ming, they almost wanted to boo him, as he had a much duller stance, the stance showed that he's clearly a beginner. But the women even though they didn't believe that Wang Ming would win at all still shouted to show their support. They had been afraid to do it earlier, but since the school owner even showed Wang Ming support, why couldn't they also do it.

"We believe in you handsome man! Defeat him!"

Zhou Liwei didn't think the trainees would support Wang Ming and not him, though the worst part is that almost all the women were supporting Wang Ming. Zhou Liwei isn't an ugly man most of these women had been fawning over him just a few days ago, but now Wang Ming came out of nowhere to take the limelight. It made him feel jealous.

"Zhou Liwei, you attack first. Now Go!"

Zhou Liwei instantly leapt at Wang Ming with all the power he could muster. It didn't even take half a second before he was in Wang Ming's face. Wang Ming reacted by stepping back, for each time Zhou Liwei struck, he took a step back.

Wang Ming wanted to curse he knew that Zhou Liwei would be strong but the elbow strikes struck fear into Wang Ming. He had narrowly dodged a hit but still got a minor cut on his forearm. He kept dodging backwards, but it didn't take long before his back hit the edge of the ring.

There was nowhere for him to dodge now other than sideways, but Zhou Liwei also knew this, so he attacked on both sides to corner Wang Ming in. Wang Ming had no other choice now other than to defend from the elbow strikes, but since he had little experience in fighting against a martial artist. He kept blocking the hits by having his arm horizontally instead of vertically.

In only a short time frame, Zhou Liwei had hit Wang Ming's arms multiple times covering them in bruises. He had thought that Wang Ming would give in by now, but Wang Ming still had a smile on his face while he kept blocking. Each hit hurt Wang Ming and made him more and more pissed off, but he couldn't show any weakness now.

"Stop swap now!"
