Chapter 133 - Beginner or Pro?

Wang Ming felt his arms hurt, but his bones were still intact none. Wang Ming had underestimated how strong Zhou Liwei is, but luckily, even though the hits have been strong, they weren't enough to leave any lasting damage. The one who was more shocked though was Zhou Liwei.

He hit Wang Ming with everything he had to ensure a knockout within the first round, but the man just didn't go down. A normal person could probably take 10 hits from him before being unable to block, but Wang Ming just kept going. The more hits Wang Ming blocked, the more infuriated Zhou Liwei became, but before he could do anything more the time had already run out.

Wang Ming hit Zhou Liwei back, who was gracefully dodging each hit. This showed the difference between them. Zhou Liwei had great accuracy each time he Wang Ming not only this, but the way he dodged Wang Ming's every punch made Wang Ming's skills look laughable.

He tried hitting Zhou Liwei but his footwork just proved to be superior, Wang Ming hadn't been able to hit one hit as Zhou Liwei kept dodging left and right. Not only this, he always had a plan of where to dodge so he never got cornered. The girls who had been cheering loudly for Wang Ming all stopped one after another.

They thought that Wang Ming could do some damage now after stopping Instructor Zhou's onslaught. They had seen him fight before and usually most competitors would be down in less than ten breaths, but seeing Wang Ming's still holding strong got their hopes up. But after seeing Wang Ming not being able to hit Zhou Liwei even once made them give up all hope.

Wang Ming still threw punches at Zhou Liwei, he started to feel tired already after 30 seconds. His strategy to throw each punch with maximum power taxed his body. He realized early on that there's just no way for him to hit Zhou Liwei while he kept dancing around, but if on the off chance he caught Zhou Liwei with just punch, it would be enough to stagger him or maybe even knock him out.

The game of cat and mouse ensued for 30 more seconds, Wang Ming threw out punches left and right but Zhou Liwei just kept dodging. Wang Ming even tried to use his superior speed and strength to grab Zhou Liwei, but it didn't work as the man had clearly expected it and casually dodged him. Wang Ming felt like a mad bull chasing the matador, failing repeatedly to catch the target.

"Stop, change!"

Wang Ming felt nervous when the old man announced the change. He had barely caught his breath before Zhou Liwei started his rain of elbows. Wang Ming once again tried to dodge by stepping backwards, but he remembered what happened last time when he got pinned by the wall. So instead he tried to dodge sideways, just like Zhou Liwei had done earlier.

He felt happy that it worked, he just needed to keep dodging until it's his turn. But what Wang Ming didn't see is Zhou Liwei's smile when he dodged sideways. Zhou Liwei kept pressing Wang Ming to the left, conditioning him to always dodge to the left.

He started hitting faster and faster to get Wang Ming to dodge even faster, Zhou Liwei then gathered his power and struck hard but the strike didn't come from the right but it came from the left. Wang Ming didn't expect it at all. Seeing the elbow coming closer and closer to his face, Wang Ming tried to react by blocking the strike with his arm, but it just wasn't possible.

Zhou Liwei's elbow hit Wang Ming cleanly in the face, knocking him straight down to the ground. Zhou Liwei celebrated as he thought he had won, but he didn't expect that Wang Ming would bounce straight up from the ground after hitting it. There was a dark purple mark on Wang Ming's face from the Zhou Liwei's hit.

Zhou Liwei felt himself sweat seeing Wang Ming. He didn't look bothered at all from his hit, instead he laughed and used two fingers and motioned for him to come.

"Do you want to give up Wang Ming? It's fine, I won't do anything to you. The bet earlier was just for fun don't worry about it, you can walk away now."

Wang Ming said nothing, but just used his two fingers to motion for Zhou Liwei to come. The hit earlier had hurt badly, but it didn't discourage him. He had felt the pain, it couldn't get any worse from now. He would overcome the pain and beat the shit out of this guy.

"Stop, Change!"

"We can talk about thi…"

Wang Ming started punching at Zhou Liwei again, but this time he didn't hit as hard as he did the first time. He wanted to preserve his energy and only use his energy when he can really get a hit in, most of the punches would just be faints. Wang Ming felt like he was learning so much from this fight.

He still couldn't hit Zhou Liwei once, as the man had incredible footwork and kept dodging every punch. But it didn't matter for Wang Ming, he would hit him eventually.

The fight dragged on even Zhou Liwei, who has a lot of experience in fighting and has had multiple long sparring sessions before started to get exhausted. Even the trainees who were watching were starting to get started. The match had lasted for 45 minutes already, the longest fights usually last is only 15-20 minutes because after a while, stamina becomes the limiting factor and not the person's skill anymore.

But for Wang Ming, he felt his body got more sluggish for heat, but the excitement of learning made him feel energized. Even though Zhou Liwei didn't teach him anything, he realized that he was learning from just looking at what Zhou Liwei were doing. Like how he's dodging from his attacks, Zhou Liwei dodges with minimal movement to preserve the most energy as possible.

Though what fascinated him more was how he always seemed to plan every strike, he always tried to bait Wang Ming to make a mistake. He even planned where to strike and how to follow up on what Wang Ming's response will be. Wang Ming felt so excited he wanted the fight to last forever.

"I Give…"

Zhou Liwei wanted to give up, after seeing Wang Ming looking energetic even after such a long fight. His face doesn't matter now, not being able to beat Wang Ming even after 40 minutes is a big enough loss of face for him. He thought that Wang Ming's a beginner, but Wang Ming clearly baited him. The way he fought Wang Ming's clearly a pro fighter. But before he could even finish his sentence, he felt his vision go black.
