As soon as Alex destroyed the Golden Lightning Tribulation, it turned away and flew back. The cloud that had released such lightning suddenly got attacked by the remaining one.
*Boom!*
The explosion blasted away the cloud as golden particles started raining down, brightening the whole Special Realm with its sparkles. However, a portion of the particles stuck on the barrier and somehow— *Crack*— The barrier began crumbling to the ground together after the cracking sounds. Yet, it didn't stop there and continued to the second barrier.
Nelson's body tensed when the barrier got shattered. 'Will the barrier break again like last time?'
Recalling the scene where Alex's Special Realm in his Lightning Tribulation shook the entire world, Nelson hoped there wouldn't be such a thing anymore.
*Crack!*
He clenched his hands as he looked at the barrier that would soon be destroyed by the golden particles. After a minute or so, Nelson let go of his grip and let out a relieved sigh. There wasn't a single cracking sound anymore after a minute, so he believed Alex's barrier managed to hold down the burst.
It only ended up with many cracks on the barrier that looked very brittle. If Nelson decided to attack this barrier, he only needed one or two strikes.
After another minute, the cracks slowly healed. Nelson glanced at the Gathering Array that Alex made earlier, supplying the energy from its surroundings to heal the barrier.
"It seems there won't be any problem right now. The only thing I need to worry, what kind of inheritance he will get in this Lightning Tribulation… considering he has gone through such a Lightning Tribulation." Nelson muttered to himself. Little did he know it was caused by something else, not the inheritance.
The golden particles slowly descended from the air to the ground. Nelson sat on the ground and observed Alex's condition.
Alex remained calm this whole time, like how he received the inheritance for the first time. There wasn't a huge amount of information or whatsoever that made his brain hurt, albeit all of this only in the front. If one touched his head, they would feel the heat coming from it and pull their hand back out of reflex.
Maybe he had gotten used to the torture in his Undying Fire Body refining, so he didn't let out a single groan from this. However, he had clenched his fists, trying so hard to endure it.
Inside his mind, much information came by. Alex looked through it a little while letting all the information come by. He found cultivation knowledge inside this inheritance, starting from their power level to their jobs. It turned out that the requirement of Sword Saint came with them.
Unfortunately, the information came too late as he already reached Blade Saint. He continued delving into this information, learning everything he could from it.
The difference was the planets around Earth were banished one from a universe like this and had no inhabitants. There might be others in habitats elsewhere, but Earth had yet to find them. On the other hand, he found out that almost all planets in this universe had living beings.
At this time, he learned the type of planets that Maxwell explained to Firia.
This universe had five types of planets: Lower World, Upper World, Divine World, Abandoned World, and Exiled World.
Alex realized he came from the last type, the Exiled World. The story that Maxwell told him where Earth fought many worlds and killed many Gods. Although they ended up losing and exiled from this universe, the history was still there.
The first world that he always knew as 'Isekai World' was a Lower World. In this category, planets that had Martial King Stage as the upper limit were considered as a lower world.
And this Upper World was the peak of the Upper World because it had the opportunity to become God, whereas Stina's World was like a weak Upper World.
The third type, Divine World, could host many Gods inside as it was their upper limit. Alex thought this would be where he would go after reaching God Stage, and there was no doubt that the place where Alicia and Firia were staying would be in this category. Alex hoped he could meet them soon.
The fourth world was the Abandoned World. It was basically a world where there were no inhabitants left, whether they went extinct or left the world completely.
These worlds actually somehow piqued his interest, making him wonder what would happen if he came to those worlds. He could go to these worlds even with the resistance as he could seal his power. As long as he limited his power to the peak of that world, no one would be able to kill him.
As someone who came from Earth, Alex still felt a bit weird with the concept of having a long lifespan. He had gotten used to the normal 70 years old lifespan, so he saw himself weird.
Alex once wondered if there would be a time when he became bored with everything after spending time too long. It might not be the next few hundreds or anything, but he thought there would be a time, whether it was one thousand years or ten thousand years in the future. He thought about adventuring like this might relieve his boredom.
In the end, he shook that thought off and proceeded with the next information. It turned out there was a lot of information about the other worlds from their power level, monsters inside them, and so on.
At this time, Alex found out that the information was from many years ago, so some of them might not be applicable.
Alex kept looking at the information he got this time and noticed that all of this information was more to the general situation of this Universe.
Suddenly, he stumbled on one piece of information. The name of Ligoa came to his mind. It was telling about a world that hosted three races, Undead Race, Dwarf Race, and Animal Race. These three races had many technological advantages and a weird pattern of living.
'This is the identity of the three races?' Alex couldn't help but think. Their appearance was similar to the one in the description, so he was convinced that they were coming from a planet called Ligoa.
Finding this made him a little excited as he roamed freely inside his own mind. He wished to find certain information. It was the world that the Spirit lived in. He thought he would know about their existence if he searched through his memory, but he suddenly stumbled upon two names: Eulja and Mian World.
These two had similar descriptions about his Spirits as both of them were the house of Spirits. Alex was wondering which one would be the house of his spirits and planning to ask Nelson about this.
He then continued to the next information.
After around four days, Alex slowly opened his eyes. He had finished absorbing all those knowledge and would take some time to learn everything. They were not important to him this for the time being since he would be stuck in this world for a few more years.
As soon as he opened his eyes, the first thing that came to his vision was Nelson's face.
"Congratulations, Young Master." Nelson clasped his hands before kneeling on one knee.
"Thank you." Alex nodded with a smile as he looked at Nelson from the same level since he was still sitting. "I have a question for you, Nelson."
"Please ask anything, Young Master. I will answer honestly if I have it." Nelson nodded.
"Eulja and Mian World… Which planet do you come from?" Alex asked.
"!!!" Nelson's body shook for the first time. He looked up with widened eyes.
"I see. You must really come from one of these two worlds." Alex nodded, confirming half of his answer with just his expression. "So, which one is it?"
"I hail from Eulja. However, there is a misconception about these two worlds."
"Oh?" Alex furrowed his eyebrows.
"We actually have the same ancestor with them even though our worlds are far apart. It is also…" Nelson didn't continue.
"Are these two worlds connected to my previous life?"
"You also hailed from Eulja, but later arrived at Mian World. If I need to say, then both of them are under your banner." Nelson answered.
"I can't say I am fond of having responsibility for my previous life…" Alex let out a long sigh.
"Of course. Young Master can live whatever you want. Just know that we will always be behind you even if you don't recognize us."
"You are just adding the reason I can't abandon…" Alex fell into deep thought before saying, "We will talk about this later."
"Yes."
He took a deep breath and checked his body.
His cultivation had reached 1-Star Martial Monarch at the moment. He recalled the knowledge about the soul. If the Martial Emperor Stage allowed him to separate a wisp of his soul into an unmanned object, Martial Monarch Stage let him use the energy in that wisp of soul. In other words, he might be able to seal his soul inside a token and give it to Rose. The moment she needed it, she could summon that wisp of the soul to fight for her.
Alex pondered for a moment, thinking whether it would be nice to give Rose something like that. The only reason she could progress this quickly was that she knew how to work hard without relying on his help.
After considering for a few minutes, Alex decided not to give it to Rose for the time being. In any case, he could send the token through the system and Ngina, so he wasn't worried.
At this time, the system sent out its notification in succession. Alex already knew it would be mission-related notifications, so he quickly opened it and saw what kind of Gacha he got this time.
