Chapter 798 - Greg's Appearance

The party lasted for a few hours before everyone returned to a serious mode. At the very least, the atmosphere wasn't that gloomy anymore. Letizia and Rose could also fit in the group completely.

After that, Alex finally held the meeting concerning the next matter.

"Anya, you can start."

Anya nodded and listed their problems. "First. We need to know which ones are enemies and our allies."

Alex thought for a moment and glanced at the spirits. "Who do you think will be our enemies, allies, and neutral parties?"

"I don't think anyone is foolish enough to be our enemies. But I have a strange feeling against the Drunken Pavilion. It's better to watch out against that Manness and have one of the N Squad supervise Evelyn. I am afraid if he indeed becomes our enemy, he will try to grasp Evelyn first." Anna answered with an unsure tone.

"Fair enough. I am sure that if my Master is here, he will feel there is something different from Manness. We will classify him as a neutral party first but under supervision." Alex agreed with Anna. "Anyone else?"

"I don't think Phantasm Sect will bother us for the time being, so we don't need to worry about them. In addition, Song Yu is there. Although I doubt Astennu will do something bad to her, let's just have one of the spies there for safety reasons," Anya added.

After collecting their opinions, Alex closed his eyes for a minute before opening his mouth. "Nelson will be in charge of Freedom Sect. Natalie will supervise the Blackwade Clan while Noel checks the Phantasm Sect. Noah will keep the Ancient Blue Family in check.

"Nano, Ngina, and Nicky will investigate the Divine Kingdom. And lastly, Njomo will stay within Evelyn's shadow while Nicole and Neon focus on Manness and the Drunken Pavilion. If anyone thinks you have the ability that suits one influence, you can comment now, and I will change it for you."

Not a single N squad said anything. They had been trained to do everything by themselves, and with them working in a group, they would surely not leave anything. Even Nicole, who had been dealing with the Blackwade Clan, didn't say anything. After all, she didn't really need to contact them anymore, so it was pointless to stay there. Instead, she was better to put her ability to use in the new post.

Alex agreed to their request as well.

"Master…" Greg suddenly raised his hands before putting them on his helmet. He then slowly put off his helmet, revealing his true appearance.

Alex widened his eyes as this was the first time for him to see Greg's real appearance.

However, what he saw was truly a surprise to the point he dropped his jaw to the ground.

"You… You…" Alex's body and voice were shaking.

A womanly and innocent face, long green hair, big round glasses, and small nose and lips. These were the features of Greg's face. Greg then climbed his armor up as it was actually too big for him because his body looked like Jeanne's.

He seemed to be a ten years old kid. However, what shocked him the most was his clothes. A blue shirt with a neat white vest, but the bottom that paired up with this top was actually a white miniskirt.

Alex became speechless and facepalmed as if he just got a shock of his life. "Ah… I think I won't have a shock even if a meteor falls down tomorrow…"

"I… I am sorry! I will hide this appearance again." Greg immediately tried to go inside his armor again before Alex stopped him. "Wait. I never said that."

"Well, Greg is a Metal Spirit from Metal Clan. Due to the lack of women there, they actually dress someone like a girl to fulfill their longing. And Greg is one of them. Well, I can say that he quite enjoyed it… But too shy to admit it or show it to other people, thus resulting in his armor." Anya added while looking at Greg.

Alex scratched his head and looked at Greg, who was shivering. "Listen to me… You are free to follow what you prefer. If you don't want others to see this appearance, you can hide yourself inside your armor, but if you don't really mind, then you don't need to change your way. Instead, keep sticking to it and let them change the way they see you."

Greg widened his eyes and remembered a scene of a few thousand years ago. Although he didn't use the same words, Alex was still Alex. They both said the same thing. He couldn't help but smile after recalling the scene.

"Still… I don't mean to be rude, but I am still surprised by how diverse you all are." Alex pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Diverse? Do you mean our ability?" Anna tilted her head.

"What?" The spirits opened their mouth in surprise while calling themselves with Alex's naming out of reflex. Even they knew which titles they had.

They looked at each other for a few seconds before bursting. "Pfft!"

"Haha…" The previous Alex actually helped them without thought. So, when everyone gathered, Alex would surely comment something like this. And yet, not a single of them thought it was weird because Alex was the weirdest of all.

"…" Alex stayed silent for a while before he continued. "Anyway… How about you? Greg, Nelson, Artur? Do you need anything?"

"No. I just want to show you my appearance, and I am relieved that Master didn't think much about it." Greg shook his head with a smile.

"Well, I only know you are Greg. As for your appearance… Do you think your appearance will change your name?"

"No."

"Then, why would I overthink it?" Alex shrugged before moving to Artur. "How about you?"

"I don't really have a request, and I am pretty content with what I have now. So, I will remain on the base for a few days before hunting monsters again."

Alex nodded and glanced at Nelson.

"Well, there is one, and I wish for Master's well being. And if possible, I want Master to be prepared."

"Prepare?" Alex narrowed his eyes.

"Yes. I am still not sure, but I think we will have a problem soon. Not from the inside, but the outside."

"Outside? Do you think there will be an invasion?"

"I don't know yet, and the possibility is low, but it's better to be prepared. If there is nothing within a year, I guess this is just me overthinking the matter." Nelson shook his head.

"Well, I can see if the three races might come again to have their revenge, so I will prepare myself for the worse. That's why I am adding a few more things to my repertoire." Alex nodded.

Nelson replied. "Then I don't have anything to add."

"I will go to open my Gacha then." Alex rose from his seat and added. "We will set off tomorrow, so it's time to end today's meeting. See you later."
