Chapter 958 - A Problem and a Plan

Name:Gacha Sovereign Author:Fixten
Silvia suddenly changed her hairstyle, turning it into a ponytail. She stretched her body as if she wanted to do something.

Alex looked at her and gave a nod as confirmation.

"I am going to train with both of you. It seems it will be the perfect time to increase my strength drastically. I can deal with the side effect myself, so it will be fine. Time to aim to be a God King within a hundred years, I guess." She smirked. "Please take care of me."

Since Alex had no problem, Aria didn't raise any concern as well. No matter how she looked at her, the latter already did many things for her, so there was no way she could reject it unless Alex rejected her because of suspicion.

The training began that day, and the three had their share of fun, knowing how their body worked from Silvia. That way, they might be able to improve something according to her advice.

Like Alex and Aria, Silvia learned how ridiculous Alex's training was. Even she couldn't follow it that easily. Only due to her feeling that she decided to fight for, she persisted in the training.

The training was hard, but she believed she could endure the brutal training for three years. It wasn't like she didn't get anything either.

Alex and Silvia kept exchanging ideas about the improvement of the training menu, and they somehow managed to increase the efficiency of the training by thirty percent. It was a huge leap, and they felt happy about it.

Three weeks passed by, and the peak master seemed to have no mission for them. Unfortunately, the peace couldn't continue any longer when a bird flew toward Aria with a letter on its feet. This bird was slightly bigger, so the letter was also bigger.

She suddenly fell to the ground, dropping the glowing token and the letter.

"Aria?" Alex narrowed his eyes. "What happened?"

"Do you remember there is a chance that my brother will get attacked?"

"Does he…"

"Yeah. When my brother went back to the house, he was ambushed by a group of bandits. According to the letter, the bandit shouldn't be around that area. No, it should be on another continent. The reason why it appeared and attacked him…"

"The woman you saw?" Alex narrowed his eyes. "So, what is his condition right now?"

"He is fine and has contacted my father, but he is trapped inside a Deep Prison Forest. That forest is very dangerous but has abundant resources. He has enough supply to last him for a while, but I don't think he will last long. As soon as he is found by the monsters there, it will be the last for him. And there are still the bandits along with that woman. If they capture him, they will torture him before killing him." She gritted her teeth.

Alex narrowed his eyes. He had talked about this in the past. Due to his identity, he couldn't risk meddling in anyone's problem.

Aria knew it as well, and there was only one way to save him. It was to ask Alex. After all, the enemy this time had a God Rank Expert, so there was no way she could win against him. Meanwhile, there was another option which was the peak master, but it would mean she owed her a favor.

She wouldn't be able to leave the sect that easily with this type of promise, resulting in her abandoning the promise she had with Alex.

Luckily, Aria already informed her brother about this in a roundabout way where he couldn't get any information about Alex. Even so, with the information alone, he understood how he could be saved and immediately gave it to Aria.

Aria kneeled and begged Alex while trying to get his support by throwing the bait. "I beg you to save my brother. I know your principle and the agreement between us. However, there is something you might want from the forest.

"It's a Divine Herb called Eternal Ice Flower. My brother found it when he ran away from the bandits and chose to stay in the cave where it lived. Unfortunately, he couldn't get it because there was a Rank 9 God Beast protecting the flower. He didn't know how long it needed to bloom, but he believed it was soon.

"Rather than thinking about helping me to save my brother, how about considering that you want to get the herb and somehow end up bringing my brother along? Please, I beg you." Her hands were shaking, not knowing whether this was enough or not.

Silvia also wanted to see his decision. She had learned about the agreement, but the relationship between Aria and him was still visible. Due to his principle and heart, Alex must choose one of the answers no matter how hard to choose.

On one hand, there was a chance that they might encounter the bandits and fight them. When that time came, their backing would realize what happened to them. That way, he and Aria would be targeted by them, creating another problem.

On the other hand, the temptation of the Eternal Ice Flower indeed moved his heart, and this one year he experienced with her wasn't wrong.

'Ugh. What should I do? The Eternal Ice Flower will be beneficial for both Alicia and Letizia, but the risk…I can't easily mobilize the N Squad in this world.' Alex thought for a moment.

[You might be overthinking this, Alex. Indeed, if we have enough information about the enemy, we will be able to cover our mess. However, you need to know that we are humans who sometimes think by our emotions. Besides, if pushes come to shoves, you can simply use the Teleportation Array to avoid fighting.]

'Do you want me to take the risk?'

[I am just offering a solution. Everything will be decided by you.]

Alex clenched his fists and sighed. "I understand. Let's save him."

Aria smiled and immediately thanked him. "Thank you. Really, thank you."

Alex saw this and had a mixed feeling about it. Despite their relationship, Aria was never this shaken, even when she was almost r.a.p.ed. Finding such a woman acted like this would truly shake one's heart.

When Silvia heard his answer, she closed her eyes for a second before saying, "I will join you guys. It's not like I have anything to do here."

Alex furrowed his eyebrows.

"My strength is your assurance. Besides, you don't plan to stay here for a long time, right? We can always use another identity with me here and make the situation as if Aria is the only one rescuing him. Unless their backing had a way to track what they did on another continent, it would be hard to know it was you." Silvia shrugged as if this was something that could easily be resolved.

"You can change my appearance?" Alex asked with a serious expression.

"Yes."

"Do you think I can impersonate someone?"

"Oh?!" Her eyes lit up as if understanding Alex's intention. "Interesting. As long as I know their face, I can copy it."

"I will be using someone from the Grayfig Family to handle the bandits."

"Hey. If you are going to do that, I can hypnotize, you know. This is usually for medical purposes, but this one is special. Using this technique, I can alter a bit of their recent memory to shift the entire situation from you and Aria to this Grayfig Family." She smiled.

Alex heard the plan and hesitated.

Seeing this, Silvia continued. "I am doing this just for getting a point in your heart, not for you owing me a favor. So, you can…No, you must treat this one as me helping my "future" husband, alright?"

"…" Alex fell silent and sighed. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." She smiled. "So, the plan is to shift the blame, right?"

"Yes. Aria will explain more about the Grayfig Family. We need to know whether the people that know about this grudge follow her or stay in this sect…"

"What is her name?" She asked.

Alex didn't know her name, so he looked at Aria. "You go to the peak master and learn her name. This won't be that big enough to owe a favor."

"I understand." She nodded.

"If you are going to do that, make sure to tell me the name. I can ask Navin to kill them mysteriously. His time ability is very useful for this purpose." Silvia nodded.

"Ye-yes." Aria repeatedly thanked her before heading straight to the peak master's mansion.

Alex then turned to Silvia. "Are you sure about it?"

"Of course. Besides, I have gotten the absurd training method that allows one to increase their cultivation speed. Even though it can only be perfect with my ability, I haven't repaid you enough for the information. Though, it's not like I will spread it."

"Thank you." Alex slightly bowed his head.

"Why are you bowing your head? You are the king of Eulja. A king shouldn't bow that easily."

"Acknowledge one's mistake and thank someone for their help. This is something I must do. Even if they are just a normal family, I will still bow my head to thank or apologize."

"Heh?! I don't know whether the previous you had this character, but I do like it." She smiled. "In this bloody universe, a normal family consisting of ordinary people will be slaughtered by the strong if they antagonize them or something. There are even some who are so petty to kill without reason or just because they bump into them. That's why I think your character is likable, and this might be the reason why people voluntarily follow you.

"Did you see her expression earlier? Even if you wanted her to warm the bed tonight, she would gladly give herself to you. I saw that expression every now and then, so I know."

Alex scratched the back of his head, not knowing what to say about this.

"Anyway, I will be preparing to handle the business inside the sect before going there. Make sure you prepare enough Teleportation Array Plates if you don't want her to know about your Space Element. Give me the information later and leave the sect tomorrow. What do you think?"

"Yes. I will be leaving most of the matters to you."

"Sure. I can do practically almost anything in this sect with my special identity anyway, so I am free…Unlike you."

Alex then waved his hand, watching her returning to his bedroom to use the Teleportation Array. However, no one knew that Alex had another reason. He planned to antagonize the Grayfig openly this time, building up their frustration from this early, so when one year later he went to the Sword Pavilion, the Grayfig Family might send their best strength.

It would be the perfect time to camouflage his death and leave this world without any suspicion.
