Chapter 2:Handsome Devil

His Eyes

"Yna where are you?" I heard my best friend and my teenage crush calling my name as I strolled on the beach.

It was my 18th birthday and my father decided to give me a birthday bash of the year and he didn't think it important enough to attend the affair himself.

I looked up and my heart nearly stopped. Rupert was simply too hot. He was wearing a white dressing shirt paired with black denim jeans, his brown hair were windblown and his complexion was deliciously tanned.

He stopped right in front of me and looked into my eyes. "Hey....why do you look so sad? It's your birthday!" He spoke.

I shook my head and smiled sadly at him. "He didn't came." I whispered.

Rupert frowned. "He must have gotten really busy...." He mumbled.

Rupert knew Dad more than I knew him as he worked everyday with him in his office.

Rupert's father insisted that he worked under Mr. Edmund Carson the most famous business tycoon in Philippines and also my father before he took over his father's company.

"That's the problem Rupert. He is always busy....too busy to have time for his only daughter."

He hugged me tightly and whispered in my ears. "All your friends are here, sweetheart. You don't need anyone else."

Pulling back he held me at my arms length and smiled kindly. "At least smile for me, Yna!" He teased and his fingers touched lightly to my cheeks.

"Rupert! Darling!" Victoria, Rupert's girlfriend, the blonde goddess as everybody called her, came rushing towards us.

"I was searching for you! Come with me for a minute darling I need you right now..." She stopped as she saw me and flashed me a fake smile.

"Oh I am so sorry! I almost didn't notice you standing there, Yna." She chirped. I mentally rolled my eyes.

Rupert keep staring at me as if he wanted to say something but Victoria was already dragging him with her towards the crowed part of the beach where the party was going on in full force.

Rupert looked back over his shoulder and motioned for me to join them.

I keep strolling the less crowded part of the beach and didn't even realise I had reached the empty and slightly scary part of the beach.

I was about to turn around and head towards the party when I heard a deep male voice whisper in my ear.

"Don't go just yet....stay...." A feeling

of terror shot through my entire body and I turned ever so slowly and gasped.

Standing before me was Orland Ashbourne, he was my father's sworn enemy from the time he tried to dominate one of father's major companies.

I tried to back away but couldn't help being captivated by those moss green eyes. His eyes had an almost magical tinge to them.

He moved closer and I instinctively took a step back. "What...are you doing here?" I asked my voice holding a little quiver.

"Well...I have come to fetch you my dear...it's time to demand some well owed things from your

father."

Before I could even guess what he meant to apply he pulled me flush against his body preventing me from struggling and I felt a sharp prick in my neck.

I moaned low in pain and everything started to get blurred, and before I passed out the only thing I saw, were his mesmerizing eyes.
