158 A Night To Remember

After slipping into another black dress, I decided to wear bright red heels to go with my bright red lipstick. I was feeling the color red tonight, it went well with my black hair and red eyes. When I walk out into the living room, Kian does a double-take. 

His dark red eyes watch my every move until I come to a slow stop in front of him. He looks down at me with a dark smirk and says "Every time I think I've seen it all... You surprise me with your beauty over and over again." 

When I hear a gagging noise, I slowly turn to glare at Enzo on the couch. His eyes dance in humor as he suddenly stands up and says "Tonight is truly a magical night! A full blood moon..." He walks over until he's standing right behind me and glances over my head to look at Kian.

Kian watches his every move with cold eyes but it doesn't seem to faze Enzo as he smiles and says "We should all celebrate this magical night, right? I don't mind if all three of us had fun tonight. What do you think, pretty boy?" 

Kian bares his teeth and says "I may not be able to kill you but I can chop off all your limbs and stick you in a closet. Don't test me." Enzo chuckles and leans in close to my ear as he says "He secretly into it, he just doesn't want to admit it." 

The whole time he says this, he has his eyes locked on Kian in a silent taunt. Kain steps forward, pulling me into his chest as he leans over my shoulder and says "Is that so... You sure do like to talk a lot... Puker up, big boy." 

Because I'm sandwiched between the two, I feel myself stiffen with shock. Was he being serious or was he trying to call his bluff? Was it even a bluff!? I crane my neck up to see the two dangerously close to each other! 

Enzo's eyes dance with amusement as he steps closer, practically smooshing me between the two of them as he leans in and softly says "This is a game you'll lose, pretty boy. Don't try me. I've had many, many years of fun with men and women. I don't discriminate."

My eyes widen in shock before they slowly roll back over to look at Kian. He doesn't look fazed as he says "Always talking..." Enzo closes in, making my already large eyes nearly pop out. Do I stop this? Do I want to? 

I'm morbidly fascinated and want to see how this plays out so I don't say a word. I have front row seats! Enzo's dark eyes search Kian's but Kian doesn't give anything away so Enzo leans in for his lips! Suddenly, Kian headbutts him causing Enzo to curse and step back.  

I watch everything with wide eyes as Kian smirks and says "I don't want them touching me, I have no idea where they've been." Enzo stands up and licks at his bloody lip with a smirk and says "Funny you say that. I like to play rough, isn't that right?" 

I glare at him but when I feel Kian's anger practically dripping from him, I quickly pull on Kian and say "Let's go before it gets too late." Kian allows me to pull him but he continues to glare at Enzo as we walk out the front door. 

When I look back to close the door, Enzo lifts a hand and blows a kiss at us! Instantly pissing Kian off to the point of no return! I flip Enzo off and slam the door shut as I say "Let's go before we both end up killing him." 

I can practically taste Kian's anger as we drive to Ambrose's club in silence. It's not like I kept it from him or anything! He knows what happened when I was down there! I glance over to him but he continues to stare out the front window in silence. 

I sigh and continue driving but as soon as we pull up, the valet parking opens the door and allows us to climb out as they park the car. The club is busy once again but this time, it's different. The air is thick with the scent of blood and danger hangs in the air like an accent to the club. 

As soon as Kian steps up to my side, He gently takes my hand and slips it through his arm. As we walk into the club, those closest to us turn to look at us with open curiosity. As soon as we make our way in further, Ambrose appears before us with a beautiful Vampire on his arm. 

He looks me over with delight and says "My dear, if I didn't already know your scent like my own, I would not have recognized you but I love the new, darker look you've got going on." I give him a smirk and say "Why, thank you but it won't be staying for long."

He gives me a knowing smile and says "I'm pleased you two could make it." Kian's mood was slightly better as he says "It's a good thing we did, I almost committed a double homicide tonight." I awkwardly clear my throat as Ambrose watches us with amusement clearly seen within his dark blue eyes. 

Ambrose chuckles and says "Well, no homicides here tonight, please. Tonight, is a night of fun and relaxation. Drinks are free but I would check to make sure it is of the right... substance before drinking." Kian smirks as Ambrose leads his date onto the next group of people. 

The Vampires all whisper and talk while openly staring at me but I ignore it all as I Kian leads us over to the bar. A familiar Vampire behind the bar gives me a large smile as he says "Welcome back, witch. What can I get you two?" 

I lean against the bar as I say "Anything that doesn't have iron in it." The Vampire chuckles and says "I got it." and starts making our drinks. Kian gives me a questioning look but I lean into him and say "When I came here to investigate before, I made friends with the bartender."

Kian sighs and says "You seem to make friends everywhere you go." I smirk and say "It's better than making enemies everywhere I go." As soon as we get our drinks, something catches my eye. I turn to look but I don't see anything. 

I glance up to the ceiling but because it's painted black and the lights are red and dim, it's practically impossible to see anything. Kian looks up with a frown and asks "What is it?" I wait a few minutes before looking to him with a frown and saying "I could have sworn I saw something..." 

When I look back into the crowd, I see Ambrose watching me with a slight frown. I glance back up before looking back to him but he was already looking up. When I see his jaw tighten, I realize he's seen something. 

I grab Kian's hand and start walking over to Ambrose but when I see Ambrose suddenly stand up, I know something bad is about to happen. Screams can be heard coming from the front door and when I turn to look, several Witches flood into the club chanting as someone screams from the back of the club! 

I grit my teeth and turn to see the freaking multi demon! As soon as blood flies, chaos breaks out! Suddenly, Vampires are attacking everything in the club, including other Vampires! The sight confuses me but when I turn back to the chanting Witches, it suddenly makes sense. They must be causing the Vampires to lose control...

Kian quickly yells "I'll get the demon and try to hold him back." I nod and head for the Witches but before I can take another step, something flies straight past me! Kian's body hits several tables before finally coming to a stop. 

Fear grips me until I remember he's technically immortal. I grimace when he groans and rolls over in pain but when I feel the demon coming, I quickly turn around and call forth my magic. When the demon and I collide, a large blast of power is released. It knocks several Vampires over in the process but it also causes lights to start exploding. 

The demon quickly grabs my arm and throws me like a ragdoll! I hit the back wall and go straight through it! I cough and groan but quickly use my magic to heal as I sit up and see that I'm in the room with the 'hatching wall'!

Suddenly, I get a bad feeling. Why is all of this happening here... on this night!? Before I have the chance to think about it anymore, the demon is heading straight for me once again! I grit my teeth and say "Bring it!" as I bring my magic back up. For once, it's not running.
