After several days, my house was finally back to normal but now the full moon was only a day away. My hair was nearly solid black again but because this was going to be a blood moon, the power in the air was much thicker and more potent.

I can practically taste it! I've moved my parents and my brother further away from New Orleans to avoid any more trouble and started working on my next plan. It's clearly waiting for something by lingering around New Orleans like this, but what?

I flip through my grimoire as I try to find something that may help. The problem was the blood moon. Not only was I more powerful, but every Supernatural would also be feeling the same effects! That means the demon was about to become supercharged. 

When my phone starts going off, I look down and see that it's Ambrose. I quickly answer it "Did it hatch?" I'm met by silence before a low sigh can be heard. "Eris... no. The wall has not 'hatched'. I'm calling you to invite you and Kian to my event tomorrow night."

I frown a little and say "Thanks Ambrose but I don't think we'll be able to make it. I'm currently trying to hunt down the monstrous demon from before. I think it's up to something but it's hard to say." 

Ambrose chuckles and says "It's one night, Eris. Why don't you just stop in for a bit and say hello? The other Vampire leaders want to know who I stand by and who I've marked as one of mine." I frown at that a little before asking "Marked as one of yours?" 

Ambrose's deep chuckle can be heard as he says "Yes, one of my people who is off-limits to the rest of the Vampire community. My dear friend." His words have me momentarily shocked. I awkwardly clear my throat and say "I'll stop in tomorrow night but I won't be able to stay." 

I can practically hear the smile on Ambrose as he says "Thank you, Eris. I will see you tomorrow night then." We hang up and I can't help but feel slightly odd. He called me his dear friend... that's saying a lot coming from a Vampire like him. 

"What's on your mind?" Kian asks walking into the room. I set my phone down and give him a smile as I say "You and I are going to Ambrose's little party tomorrow night." Kian smirks and raises his eyebrows as he says "Oh, are we? I thought we were going to be demon-hunting on the full blood moon? Not drinking and making small talk."

I return his smile as he steps up to me and slides his hands around my waist. I look up to him and say "Yes well, he pulled the friend card so I agreed to stop in for a little bit. After we leave the party, we'll have the rest of the night to look for the demon and take care of it." 

Kian's dark eyes twinkle with amusement as he leans in and lightly kisses my jaw before whispering "I didn't know it only took a friend card to make you cave..." I tilt my head back a little as I say "It only works for people I actually consider friends." 

Kian sighs and steps back with a resigned look on his face as Binx yells out "We have Witches!" My face crumples as I walk to the front door but when I see Enzo laying on the couch, I tell him "Not a word." He gives me a small smirk and goes back to watching TV.

I open the door to find three witches standing in my yard, staring up at the roof of my house with fear. "What can I do for you ladies?" Their eyes snap to me before the redhead clears her throat and says "Our headmistress requests your presence." 

I give them a dry look as I say "Noted." I go to shut the door on them but they quickly call out and say "Please wait!" but when they try to step closer, the Dragon chilling on the roof lets out a low warning growl instantly making them freeze. 

I think about ignoring them but if it's something important, I will end up kicking myself. Sighing, I open the door back up and say "You have one minute." The redhead panics as she quickly says "It's important! She really needs to see you and would like to speak to you today.... please."

Kian stands behind me as a silent reminder for the witches and by the way they keep sending fearful glances over my shoulder, I can tell that it's working. After a few silent seconds, I give them a hard look as I say "Fine. I'll be over in an hour." 

They quickly bow and say "Thank you" before quickly taking off like their asses were on fire but as I'm shutting the door, I see a car pull up. I frown and watch someone I've never seen before get out but when I see a pizza box, I feel my face drop. 

The young guy walks up and smiles politely as he says "Hi! I've got your large pepperoni and breadsticks." Enzo suddenly shows up at the door and says "Thank you! Perfect timing. I was starting to waste away..." 

Enzo takes the pizza and quickly runs back to the couch. I look on in complete disbelief but when I turn back to shut the door, I see the pizza guy still standing there! The guy gives me a bright smile as he says "That's twenty-five dollars and thirty-eight cents. Not including the tip of course." 

I feel my eye twitching as I strain to smile and say "Of course..." I hand him forty dollars and practically slam the door in his face. I turn around and glare at Enzo as he takes a big bite and says "What!? You want both of us to die because I die of hunger? A man's got to eat!" 

As soon as I'm done with the freaking multi demon, this demon is next!!
