Chapter 6：Trapped

It was somewhat awkward, Kuroki had kind of fallen asleep on Ian, but it was peaceful.

For now.

Chapter 6

Morning had finally come, and Kuroki was feeling tired. She started to remember that she had fallen asleep on Ian, which made her blush a little bit. She started to walk to where she assumed Eve was at.

"Eve?" Kuroki asked, looking for a response.

"Y-yeah...?"

"Do you...feel any better?" Kuroki asked, expressing concern.

"Yeah..." Eve replied.

Kuroki smiled in relief. Eve came out of the room she was in. She waved at Kuroki. Kuroki waved back.

"But you have to understand! I saw a whole bunch of them inside a house! Eating people who were alive!" Ian screamed.

"I get it! But...I don't want to leave my house...all of my family's belongings are here..and...they're p-precious to me...!" Selene retorted.

"What's wrong?" Kuroki asked.

"Listen, I saw a bunch of fregones in the house next to this one. The fregones were eating the survivors that were inside!" Ian said.

Kuroki gasped. She felt anxious.

"Well, what do we do?!" Eve yelled.

"We have to leave this pla-"

"NO!" Selene cut Ian off.

"I'm not leaving!" Selene said.

"Then we are!" Ian said.

"Fine," Selene said as she walked away.

"But don't come here ever again." She finalized.

Ian, Eve, and Kuroki nodded, making their way to the entrance. Everyone headed outside, but Kuroki stopped for a moment.

"Good luck here, Selene!" She said.

"T-thank you." Selene replied.

With that, Kuroki went outside and she closed the door behind her.

"W-why are you glaring at me?!" He asked.

"Oh I don't know- perhaps you were yelling too loudly allowing the fregones to hear you!" Eve said.

"Tsk....annoying girl.." Ian said.

"Hey! Be quiet! The both of you! I hear something." Kuroki whispered.

The trio crouched down. Suddenly, a pack of fregones jumped at them out of nowhere.

"Run!"
