The world has gone through an apocalypse and the damage is too big to rebound from. But this is not the time to sit down and mourn. Sung Nami knows that everyone has expectations from her.
Whether it's her mother or father, they won't treat her as their daughter during the meeting. Leaders from all communities will come. Everyone will look up at her.
The world can't go back to the way it was. Moving forward doesn't mean peaceful times yet. Everything has a process, even if the goal is feasible.
"President, the angels brought a woman who claims to be the leader of the humans," Her secretary informs her.
Sung Nami furrows her brows together. "Bring her in."
Her secretary returns with a woman by her side. Tall and tan-skinned, the woman has a fierce look in her sapphire-blue eyes.
"I am Shannon Henderson," The woman speaks in smooth Korean. "I want to know what happened to our world."
"I will explain everything." Sung Nami signals her to take a seat in front of her. "Please have a seat."

"Sung Nami will lead the summit." Choi Minho bends down his head, thinking. "New laws will be formed, then."
"Yes." Sung Jun replies, "It would have been best if Nakashima Wakana was here. The blood guardian is too young to attend the summit, but the Vampire King will attend in her stead."
Choi Minho leans back in his chair. "I believe that she will create a better world… a world where there is no need for the supernatural world to remain hidden."
"I am going to let her decide." Sung Jun smiles at him. "As she is the sun guardian of this world, she will be able to decide what is best for this world. I want to retire in peace."
"I don't think that you can retire easily." Choi Minho laughs. "I met her mate outside."
Sung Jun blanches. "I wish that wasn't true."
"Hyung, you married a woman with demonic blood in her veins." Choi Minho regards Sung Jun with a smile, "My mate is a forsaken creature. I am going to follow her wherever she goes. Why are you against that boy? I have read his mind. He has genuine feelings for Sung Nami. He might have been a different person in the past. However, he has changed after meeting Sung Nami. I think that you should give him a chance."
"It's not up to me." Resting his elbow on the chair arm, Sung Jun props his chin on his hand. "He broke Seung Won's heart."
"I remember." Choi Minho frowns slightly. "It's been a long time though. Sung Nami was a child back then."
"He wasn't a child back then." Sung Jun sighs. "Seung Won doesn't know about it yet. I might run away with Aisa if he starts crying again."
Choi Minho coughs. "Send him back to Lust."
"..." Choi Minho doesn't know what to say.
"I want my daughter to be happy." Sung Jun sighs. "I don't care what happened to the world if my daughter can't be happy."
"I think that it will work out somehow." Choi Minho assures him, "It always works out between the true mates."
"Really?" Sung Jun gives him a dark look. "How is your son?"
Choi Minho's face darkens. "A nuisance who won't let me get close to his mother. Now, he wants to see his brother, Pestilence. Wakana also wants to meet Pestilence. I am exhausted. I want troublesome people to stay away from us."
"Pestilence?" Sung Jun lets out a laugh. "Don't tell me that he wants to start another apocalypse in this world?"
"No." Choi Minho shakes his head. "Pestilence can't leave that world. So, we have to go there. Wakana is excited about it, but Natsumi won't say yes. I would rather live in this world with Wakana and Toru."
"Maybe it's possible," Sung Jun contemplates. "Toru has changed my mind. I believe that evil is defined by actions, not by what someone is born with."
"Life surprises us." Choi Minho's eyes twinkle brightly. "We will return to this world if we are allowed to."
"I will see what I can do." Sung Jun doesn't promise him. "When you return, send back Soo Hwan and Natsumi. We would need them in the future."
Choi Minho nods. "I will send them back as soon as possible."

"WHY should I stop following him?" Sarie frowns at Klyn. "I have been following him for decades."
"That's," Klyn points at her and says loudly, "is exactly what you are doing wrong."
Sarie squints her eyes, flicking her wings. "What do you mean by that?"
"Men don't like clingy women," Klyn speaks slowly. After staying with this angel in the garden for days, he has realized that it's not easy to woo someone from the Sung family. But this angel is a special case. She is so dumb that he pities her. "Did they not teach you that in heaven?"
"I didn't get along with the angel of love." Sarie scratches her chin, "and the angel of friendship, the angel of happiness, the angel of…"
"I get it." He raises his head. Basically, this angel doesn't get along with anyone -- not even him. If they haven't been in a similar situation, she might have stabbed his heart right away. "Do you want Sung Seung Min?"
"Yes!" Sarie fists her hands. "I want him more than I want to be an archangel."
"You are a fallen angel. It's impossible for you to be an archangel." Klyn lets out a heavy sigh. Why is this angel so dumb? They probably feed air to these angels. "If you want to seduce Sung Seung Min, you must accept me as your teacher."
"Seduce?" Sarie frowns. "I want his love."
Seduction is the way to love." Klyn replies, "You have tried your loving ways for years. Did it work?"
Sarie looks down dejectedly.
"I am an expert when it comes to sex, seduction, and hooking the fish." Klyn doesn't realize that someone is standing behind him. "I will transform you into a goddess of seduction. Even the god of love won't be able to resist you."
The sound of slow claps stills his heart. Then, the scent hammers down his spirit. Klyn looks over his shoulder. The person is Fang Aisa.
"I will keep a watch on my daughter." Fang Aisa gives him a smile that doesn't meet her eyes. "Since you are a master of seduction, my daughter will never be safe around you."
"I-I…" Klyn stammers, "I will never seduce her. I want her to love me back naturally. It's just that…"
"But you said that seduction is the way to love," Sarie interjects. "Why are you not trying to seduce Sung Nami?"
"That…" Klyn is at a loss for words. That's because he hasn't been able to see Sung Nami. Besides, his seduction skills won't work on her because she is a heavenly blessed woman with great self-control. Even the lust spells don't work on her, although he won't ever admit that he had tried them on her in the past.
Fang Aisa grimaces at Sarie. "Seung Min lived in hell for a long time. Do you think that he hasn't seen any succubuses? If he can reject a succubus, what are this mosquito's teachings? You should give up."
"But I don't want to give up." Sarie looks at her with misty eyes. "I love Seung Min."
"He doesn't love you." Fang Aisa crosses her arms and murmurs, "He loves demonic beasts more than he loves women. I don't understand why none of my boys is normal. Tch! My daughter is normal, but she has a mosquito mate.'
When Sarie begins to sob, Fang Aisa ignores her and returns to the mansion.
Klyn purses his lips. Why should Sarie give up? He won't give up. Sarie won't give up either.
"Sarie, I will make sure that Seung Min chases you back," Klyn promises the angel. "Until then, you must do everything that I say."
Sarie looks up at him. "I have fought him for a long time, but he is too strong. I always lose."
"Why would you fight with him?" Klyn's head hurts already. "You shouldn't use fists. Come with me. We need to work on your hair first."
The angel doesn't understand what Klyn is trying to say, but she doesn't protest either. Maybe she should try seduction since all other tactics haven't worked till this date.
