Parking her car downstairs, Zhi Ruo made her way towards her house. It was already late at night when she had arrived. Thinking that Qing Shan would be sleeping Zhi Ruo tried to minimize the voice as much as she could.

Opening the door by punching the password, Zhi Ruo entered the house. It was all dark, lowering her eyes she simply slumped on the sofa. It had been around twenty-four hours that she had left. In this twenty-four hours she had worked non-stop without even a single second of rest. It was not only physically but also mentally exhausting. In spite of the fact that she had done many more worst and tiring missions in the past, today she was tired more than usual. It was not because of the mission, it was because of the emotions that she had to control for the whole time. There were many moments when she felt like disregarding everything and hugging her bother. There were many times she wanted to shout and tell the world, that the one's who harm her brother will face terrible death.

She was devastated, exhausted and tired as well. This was not the life she ever dreamt of, Never...

"It seems my wife is tired."Qing Shan has been observing her each and every move since she had entered. He thought she would turn on the light's or go back to the bedroom or probably to her study. In contrast to his thought's she simply sat on the couch without speaking anything.

Zhi Ruo had her head thrown back on the head rest while her eyes were closed. Hearing Qing Shan's voice, she raised her head, opened her eyes, "I thought you are sleeping."

Qing Shan went towards the switch board while attempting to turn on the lights when Zhi Ruo stopped him saying, "Don't"

Complying to her request or order he asked her in a worried tone, "Do you need something? Are you hungry? Shall I cook for you? Anything you need, your husband is here to do it for you..." Qing Shan bowed in front of Zhi Ruo while he laid out so many options in front of her. Qing Shan had wanted to look at her by turning on the light's and analyse her state, but was unable to do so.

Zhi Ruo was touched by his worry about her. Shaking her head she dismissed him, "I am just sitting here to clear the clutter in my head. You can go and sleep. I will join shortly."

Saying Zhi Ruo went back to her original position, she threw her head back, resting on the headrest while her eyes were closed.

Observing her for around a moment Qing Shan added, "There is no moon tonight, but...sometimes, having a cup of tea is also useful. If you want I can make it for you. Probably it will help you."

Without opening her eyes, Zhi Ruo spoke in a very mild voice. The voice was so low that probably if Qing Shan was not listening to her he would surely missed it, "Qing Shan..."

"Hmm"Qing Shan answered while waiting for her to speak

"Can I hug you?" asked Zhi Ruo with closed eyes.

Walking towards her, Qing Shan stood in front of her. Actions were better than words at this point. Sensing Qing Shan's presence in front of her Zhi Ruo simply leaned towards him. Circling her hands around his waist, Zhi Ruo buried her entire face in his stomach.
