Chapter 30 - Jiang Niansheng, don’t fall in love with another man!

Since she was silent, Sheng Hanye smirked sarcastically. “You have nothing else to say for yourself?”

“Qiao Jingze and I have been set up,” Jiang Niansheng replied. “If you believe me, you can go and find out the truth; if you don’t believe me, there’s no point in me saying anything.”

Sheng Hanye let go of Qiao Jingze. He knelt on the bed with one knee. He grabbed her wrist. “You refuse to have my child but you don’t mind having one with Qiao Jingze?”

“Nothing happened between us!”

“That’s because I came in time!” Sheng Hanye shook Jiang Niansheng, “What would have happened if I arrived late? Hmm?”

Sheng Niansheng chuckled, “Ultimately, you don’t believe me.”

He picked her up and wrapped her tightly in his jacket. Wei Lian bowed at the door. He didn’t dare to look around.

Sheng Hanye walked like the wind. His face was livid. He threw Jiang Niansheng into the car.

The partition of the car slowly rose.

“What are you doing?”

Sheng Hanye smirked. “You should know.”

“Are you crazy?” Jiang Niansheng said, “We’re in a car!” The driver was still driving.

“Jiang Niansheng, I’ve told you.” Sheng Hanye stressed. “You are mine, and mine alone!”

“But there’s nothing between Qiao Jingze and me. You saw the man. He was clearly drugged!”

“Who drugged him?”

Jiang Niansheng ber his lip. “You won’t believe me even if I tell you.”

‘Xia Caiwei has planned everything before she did this. The woman wouldn’t be afraid of me telling Sheng Hanye. In fact, if I tell Sheng Hanye, he’ll only think I’m jealous of Xia Caiwei and is trying to frame her. This Xia Caiwei is a real cunning bitch!’

“Who did it is not important.” Sheng Hanye looked at her with a stormy gaze. “What’s important is that you still have a tenuous relationship with Qiao Jingze.”

These words made Jiang Niansheng’s heart turn cold. This meant that even if she had evidence, he would not persecute Xia Caiwei.

It was true that her relationship with Qiao Jingze was messy and convoluted. Xia Caiwei had taken advantage of that.

“Fine.” Jiang Niansheng gave up on explaining and shrugged. “He still likes me. He can’t forget me. Are you satisfied now?”

Sheng Hanye was instantly enraged. He growled, “Jiang Niansheng, you are not allowed to like another man!”

“Then, who am I supposed to like?” She chuckled, “You? Sheng Hanye, even if every man in this world dies, I will not like you!”

Sheng Hanye clenched his fists.

He was restraining himself from strangling this woman! He was angry but he couldn’t do anything to her! He couldn’t bear to touch her!

“So, your old flame, Qiao Jingze.” Sheng Hanye said coldly. “I’d like to see how much longer he can survive in Nan City.”

“What do you mean?”

He took out his phone. “Wei Lian.”

“Yes, CEO Sheng.”

“Spread the word that whoever dares to cooperate with the Qiao family’s company will be going against the Sheng family.”

Jiang Niansheng wanted to say something, but she held back. If she defended Qiao Jingze, it would only further enrage Sheng Hanye. Furthermore, she couldn’t even protect herself, much less Qiao Jingze.

It was her fault for being too careless and allowing Xia Caiwei to entrap her. The woman was cunning, Jiang Niansheng had to be more careful in the future.

However, ultimately, Jiang Niansheng was not worried about her own safety. With her face, she could do anything she wanted.

After hanging up the phone, Sheng Hanye’s face was cold. He exuded the aura that pretended anyone from getting close to him.

However, Jiang Niansheng took the initiative to approach him.

“Plus, why are you angry anyway?” She asked, “You can have Xia Caiwei, but I can’t have Qiao Jingze?”

He immediately narrowed his eyes. “Are those the same thing?”

“All I want to say is that as long as you understand my history with Qiao Jingze, you’ll know that I have no feelings for him.”

When the Jiang family was in trouble, the Qiao family stood by and watched. Jiang Niansheng’s calls to Qiao Jingze went unanswered. How could she love someone like that?

“But you were in a hotel room with him.” Sheng Hanye, “That’s reasoning enough for me to get rid of him.”

He grabbed the back of her head and pressed his lips against hers.

When they parted, Jiang Niansheng’s lips were red, moist, and somewhat swollen.

She wiped her lips with the back of her hand with disgust. Sheng Hanye curled his lips coldly. “You don’t like my kiss?”

“Clearly.”

“But I’ve kissed every part of your body.”

She didn’t want to talk to him anymore. She sat back in her seat and looked out of the car window.

Strange…

“Where are you taking me?” Jiang Niansheng looked at the unfamiliar street scene that flashed past. “This is not the way home.”

“You almost cheated on me and you think you’d return to Sheng Manor in one piece?”

“Sheng Hanye, what on earth do you plan to do?!”

He crossed his legs leisurely. “I’m going to teach you a lesson. This will show you what will happen to those who try to betray me.” He was like an Asura that escaped from hell.

Jiang Niansheng was thrown into a small dark room.

There was a musty smell in the room. It was dark and damp. The floor was bare, and a few cockroaches occasionally crawled past.

She slammed the door hard. “Let me out! Sheng Hanye, you heartless bastard!”

The guardian was scared. “Shush, you mustn’t say that about CEO Sheng!”

“Like I care. I’d say that same thing to his face! Let me out now!”

“No one is able to leave this place before staying in there for at least ten days.”

‘What? That long?’

Sheng Niansheng asked, “What is this place?”

“Flying Feather’s base.” The keeper answered. “You’re lucky. We’re on the first floor. There are several more dark rooms underneath you.”

‘Flying Feather? Sheng Hanye’s intelligence organization?’

Something seemed to flash in her mind. It made Jiang Niansheng wobble. As she tried to catch the thought, her head began to hurt.

She sat down by the wall. She assumed it was the side effects of Xia Caiwei’s drug. She would be fine after a short rest.

Hearing that she had quieted down, the guardian asked with curiosity, “You’re the first person CEO Sheng sent here in person. What mistake did you do anyway?”

“Do you want to know?”

“Yes.”

“Turn on the light. I’m afraid of the dark,” Jiang Niansheng said. “I’ll tell you when it’s on.”

After a few seconds, an old light bulb above her head lit up.

Although the light was not very bright, at least she could see the situation in the room. As she looked around, a strong sense of familiarity assaulted her. It felt like… she had been here before. But how could that be?

This was so strange.

Her head pounded even harder like it was going to explode.

“Hey, can you tell me now?” The guardian knocked on the wall.

“It’s nothing,” Jiang Niansheng answered lightly.. “It’s just that I almost cheated on Sheng Hanye.”
